En, på det jævne-oplevelse. Venligt personale, men ikke det store at byde på. Morgenmaden var absolut ikke noget at råbe hurra for.

The Staff were great at The Delta Queen ...The breakfast was amazing, even though I has a great time but unfortunetly there were some items ( jewerly 2 pabdora bracelets and a necklace) stolen from my room...I have not heard anything from the Hotel manager or anyone else....Til this day I am still trying to figure out when they came into the room...I […] gave them my information...but to have someone steal from you is just very uneasy...The sad thing is that I had such a great time and love the River Boat experience and staff once again was great....Would I rec someone to stay not sure.. "worth it for the experience"
The rooms are very small but we knew that going in. We did not know there was no AC in our room (there is in some rooms). Overall i would recommend staying a night just for the nostalgia. There was a new girl that had only worked there for a week that went above and beyond and we did appreciate that.
"Working on road"
We had to walk with our luggage quite a way because they were doing road work where you drop off your luggage. Other then that it was okay for one night just to say you stayed there. Close to town, and breckfast was great .
"Delta Queen Hotel-Chattanooga, Tenn."
We had a wonderful time on board the Delta Queen but not sure I'd recommend the bunk bed rooms again. If anyone is the least bit overweight or tall, you'd have a hard time fitting into the showers or manuvering around the room. All employees were very friendly---even the ghost!

"Delta Queen Hotel Chattanooga"
Maybe i expected to much from "a riverboat that been converted to a hotel" A/C was none existing and the rooms are very small. Valet had to be woke up so i could retrieve my auto from the parking lot.
"Delta Queen Boat"
My mother and I spent 1 relaxing day on the Delta Queen. The rooms were small but we expected that. We had dinner at the Paddlewheel Restaurant the the food was great. We loved sitting outside reading, talking and just relaxing. I would stay there again. Tons of history on the boat!
"Delta Queen"
If you are looking for a novelty place to stay, this is it! There are no amenities, not even heat in the rooms. When we checked in the front desk person said if you need a heater, let us know. It was suppose to get to to mid thirties that night, I would think that if the rooms were not heated, a heater would just be provided. I understand trying to […] keep it authentic but having some simple modern amenities would elevate the stay to fun and interesting instead of "I tried that once". I'm glad we had decided to stay only one night. The breakfast was very good Læs mere
"Disappointing for the price."
Rooms are super small and not as well-kept as I was expecting. The ship is very old and it shows. However, the staff is friendly and cooperative.
"40th birthday"
Our stay on the Delta Queen was great. Their was a misunderstanding about us being booked for 2 night so we did not get housekeeping until 3pm. The overall stay was great.
"Old and Museum-like Hotel. Very historical."
It is a Boat! Therefore the rooms feel like a boat. Make sure you know what you are signing up for. Definetlly different with rich history. Very cool to visit, but maybe not stay. If you are tall or big, the smaller "Crew man" rooms may not be the best for you.
"Delta Queen"
The Delta Queen was a great time. I love the history of the ship, the interior is a tremendous work of craftmanship and the crew was great. A must stay in Chattanooga :)
"Things just not right"
When we got to the hotel there was construction going on and we had to go a different way to park. They told me I had 3 different reservations, and we had cancelled that weekend. They were having a charity party and my truck was blocked in and I had to go in and tell them to get the street cleared. I ended up paying for parking in a city lot so I would […] not get blocked in again as we were leaving early the next morning. Also breakfast Sunday morning was late because of the party, because we were leaving early we did not get to eat. Will not stay there again. This was our 2nd time staying there and the first time was outstanding. This time not so good. Læs mere
"DELTA QUEEN IN CHATTANOOGA TENN."
HAD A GREAT TIME BUT THE ROOMS WERE TOO COLD & NEED TO HAVE MORE GOING IN THE HOTEL. PRICES ARE TO HIGH FOR NO TV'S & SMALL ROOMS. WE REALLY HAD A GOOD TIME IN TENN. WE ALWAYS GO BACK ALOT DURING FEB. BECAUSE THATS THE TOWN WE SPENT OUR HONEYMOON IN & TRY TO DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT FROM YEAR TO YEAR...
"An experience..."
This hotel is what I would call a "for the experience" kind of hotel. Don't stay here if you are looking for a Hilton-style hotel. You will find it disappointing... but if you would like to take a huge step back in time, experience an experience unlike that which any Hilton might offer, this is the place for you. Yes, other reviews are accurate when […] they share that the rooms are very small, no TV's, and no A.C. If you are going to stay, I'd suggest you check the weather and make sure it's fairly cool out before booking. Even at 45 degree weather, the rooms were a bit stuffy until opening a window. Internet connections are 'limited'. The closer to the front of the ship, the better... but further back, you won't connect well. The hotel is within walking distance to MANY different things. We walked to TGIFridays for late-night appetizers, and then to the Chattanooga Aquarium the next day. The hotel IS a 1926 Steamboat that has been secured to the shore but is still floating. During our stay, there was a slight tilt to the boat, so if you have issues with balance, be aware. We stayed in the Bunk room... which is (estimating) maybe 15 feet long by 6 feet across. The bathroom is probably 6x6 foot. The shower head was at chin-level (I'm 5' 11"). I'd stay here again, but only if it were for 1 night or so. Not a long-term stay option at all. Breakfast was served in the main conference lobby on this boat. It was fair... biscuits and gravy, sausage, bacon, grits, fruit, cereal options. The juice was probably the worst thing served..... it seemed VERY watered down. Other than that, it was a pleasant, quiet meal. NOTE: If you arrive at night, the boat will be lit up but will seem almost completely vacant - unless someone is on deck. We almost thought the hotel was closed down because there is a gate the separates the boat from the shore. You have to call the hotel from outside (take a cell phone) in order to gain access to the boat. Again, I'd stay again. No major complai Læs mere
"Unique Experience"
The Delta Queen provided quite a unique vacation experience. The DQ provides an enjoyable nostalgic environment of an antqiue mini-cruise ship(commissioned in 1890). While the cabin quarters are small as expected and do not have TVs, their are plenty of board games to enjoy in the common areas, Wi-Fi, and HDTVs upstairs in the Texas Lounge bar. Breakfast […] (included in the price) downstrairs in the Orleans Room was much better than expected. Beyond the friendly staff and relaxing envinronment, the DQ is docked at Coolidge Park in a terrific location to enjoy the park or the shops and restaurants on Frazier Ave or only a short walk across the Walnut Street pedestrian bridge to the Art District or downtown attractions. The Delta Queen was a conveinent, affordable and fun way to enjoy all the "Scenic City" has to offer downtown. Læs mere
"Delta queen very keen"
We had so much fun. It was a great experience. It was my bday & they made it special. Thank you.
"The Delta Queen - a step back in time"
We enjoyed celebrating Thanksgiving on the Delta Queen. Even though the boat is anchored we still felt like we were riverboating. The location is great - next to Coolidge Park and just across the Walnut St pedestrian bridge from the art museum and aquarium. We plan to go back soon!
"Riverboat unique stay"
We got in late, and just wanted the beds. There was almost no one staying there. We were put on the second deck (no elevator) behind a stairwell in a little cabin so small that the two beds (singles) are stacked. However, the room is functional, and the beds were comfortable. The pillows needed help. Breakfast is included with the room, and although […] the website indicates a buffet, our experience was menu table service. The breakfast was good, but not great. Maybe since it was Tuesday before Thanksgiving, no one stays there. I am glad we visited, and would again if the price was right, meaning more right that what we paid this time. However, it is a beautiful boat, and there won't be any more like it. Læs mere
Was hasseled frequently by hotel staff, if you are under 60 and dont plan on going to bed at 10:00 I would not recommend. This is a shame because the boat has very nice decks for hanging out on. Stayed there a year ago and had no problems, but I suspect that new ownership has adopted a different outlook on things.
"Disappointing"
It does not give me ANY pleasure to write a negative review; as a matter of fact, this is probably the first bad experience I have had in at least two years. I reserved a Standard Cabin (with two twin size beds) and was really looking forward to a lovely night and a great breakfast. When we arrived we were given the keys to the last room on the right […] side of the boat’s bow (i.e. the front). We fumbled with the key (a real key, not a plastic card) but could not open the door: I went back to the front desk and asked for help. Only after two unsuccessful attempts were we told to put the key with the “teeth” facing up: couldn’t they have suggested the first time? When we opened the door we had the unpleasant surprise to discover there was only one bed: a full size bed (i.e., “double” bed) tilted at the headboard, at what may have been a 10 degrees angle (reflecting the inclination of the boat’s bow). We had actually reserved a Standard Cabin with TWO twin size beds. When we protested with the lady at the front desk, she told us that our bed was actually the equivalent of two beds pushed in together. This is where I became despondent. I am sorry, lady, but a twin size bed (also known as “single”) is 39 inches wide: had two twins been put together, we would have enjoyed a King size bed (78 inches). As it was, we were staring at a full sized bed (54 inches wide). When I asked for a different room, she told us they were “booked solid.” Really? As we walked in the park in front of the Delta Queen I saw hardly any lights in the whole side of the boat. Moral of the story: we were ripped off. We slept very uncomfortably in the full bed, not to mention that the AC was loud and not very efficient. When we went to breakfast we were disappointed once again. Awaiting us was a very greasy breakfast (scrambled eggs, bacon, grits, donuts), orange juice from concentrate, and no friendly chef to set us up with a nice omelette, as we had imagined just from the picture in the hotel’s descr Læs mere
"Historic Riverboat"
It's sad that this wonderful boat is no longer allowed (by the US Congress) to carry overnight passengers along the rivers it had sailed for decades, but at least its use as a stationary hotel provides funds for maintenance. It has much exterior stained woodwork in need of refinishing, but the railings have been done since I last visited one year ago […] and look great. The boat maintains the charm, decor, history, great public areas, and friendly crew that it had when it used to sail. The drawbacks are that it can be low in places if you are over 6'2". I'd also suggest a standard or better room, not a bunk room. Even the standard room is a bit cozy, but the twin size beds have great mattresses. Since the engines do not run, the central cooling plant does not, so the rooms now have window air conditioners, which are an eyesore, but turning on the fan can help drown out the exterior noise. The exterior noise is mostly from the boat's location almost directly below a road bridge, so all night long there is the sound of passing traffic. Again, it is sad that the Delta Queen used to gently sail past the world, and now the world rushes past the Delta Queen. But it is still fun to stop, cozy up in a room that evokes simpler times and pleasures, and imagine time moving at the pace of a river, instead of yet another stay at a massive, modern, and heartless chain hotel. "Very friendly and helpful crew"
The Delta Queen in Chattanooga, TN was close to and within walking distance of the major attractions in downtown area, Right next to Coolidge Park on the North Shore, where there are always activities going on and places to eat and shop. Pedestrian bridge to downtown area is right there. Our room was small, but we did not get the top of the line. About […] the size of what we had on a Carnival cruise. Room was cozy and wood paneled walls and ceiling. Very interesting and fun. This boat has seen a lot of history. I had a million questions for the Chief Engineer, and he was happy to answer all my questions.. Cons: Parking was limited Læs mere

"One Night Only"
We booked this romantic place for one night on our way soth. The GPS did not quite find its way down to the river, even though we saw the Queen from the bridge. The Delta Queen looked at her best and we were in Lady Bird Johnson's room. Lot's of soft pillows. Unfortunatley we had no warm water in the room and felt a bit moved back in time. "Delta Queen Riverboat-convenient to most things"
We would stay on the Delta Queen again -in a heartbeat! The bed was the best! The crew was so friendly, with such a warm, comfortable atmosphere everywhere on the boat. Sitting on the deck, in comfortable rockers, watching the water and the hundreds of people enjoying the riverfront, was a delightful experience we'd like to have again soon. "Delta Queen"
Do not book this hotel if you are tall or slightly overweight, because you will not fit through the cabin door and you definitely will not be able to use the bathroom. Maybe people used to be a lot shorter?
"The Hotel of Class and History"
I cant begin to explain how much class this hotel has. This stay was the ultimate in hotel stays ever. How many hotels sit on the water and has a bow with tables and a view that is just awesome. I will be spoiled forever and will go back even if its just for a day.
it was romantic but no hot water and with alot of noise, thin walls
This is your only oppurtunity to stay aboard an old river paddle wheel boat. Very historic, Close to down town. Rooms are small but comfortable. Dont stay here if you expect luxury.
"Neat experience"
The Delta Queen was a pleasant stay. The coziness of the environment was condusive to get to meet all guests. Butch
"Delta Queen"
This hotel is actually a boat and has an awful musty smell in the common rooms (the hotel room itself did not smell though). The worst part about the hotel is there isn't any hot water in the rooms! I was told I had to leave the water run for 15 minutes for it to get hot. I ran it for 20 minutes and it was still not hot. I heard many people complain […] abou the lack of hot water so I was not the only one. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Læs mere

Absolutely loved it! Charming and quaint with a really nice staff. Will stay here every time Im in Chattanooga. State rooms were freezing cold though. You couldnt ever turn off the A/C which wasnt a bad thing really since Chattanooga is HOT. Other than that, really cool old steamer.
Quaint hotel for single night stay - great location and wonderful food. Rooms are small - but what one would have expected back in 1924. Wish they would have kept the restaurant opened past 8:45 - lots of people on top deck drinking and enjoying the evening - had to leave the boat to walk to restaurant to get something to eat.
"Delta Queen in Chattanooga, TN"
Weeds were growing on the bottom deck port-side. This should be more closely maintained. It took a long, long time for the water to get hot in the shower and it never did get hot in the sink. Parking was not a plus - we had to find our own parking space on the street. We were very disappointed that the caliope was not working because the boiler had […] been broken for three months. "Wallet lost in hotel!!!!!!! NO ONE CARES!"
My husband and I went to Chattanooga to attend my nieces wedding, we picked the Delta Queen because of its' location and that it was something we had never done before. We enjoyed everything, until my husband's wallet came up missing the day of ouur departure. We never left the ship after the weeding in which my husband used his wallet to pay for appetizers […] the night before. He clearly remembers leaving his wallet on the dresser. We went to breakfast and returned to our room and his wallet was GONE!!! We spent the day arranging a car ride home since he could not board a plane without his license. 15 hours later I had to cancel my shift as a nurse because I drove all the way home back to NJ. This was a very costly trip and no one frome the Delta Queen seemed to care. We didn't leave the boat and wallet missing--extemely inconvient!!!!!!!!!!!!! I"ve worked in customer service my whole life.... I wish they showed some concern. While I was making my arrangement at the front desk two other guests came with similar issues and they didn't see the connection!!!!!!!!!!!! UGH! Everything was great until this happened. NO I would not suugest this hotel to anyone that I am acquainted with..thank anyway! Læs mere

"A historical visit"
We were stopping over in Chattanooga while taking in the World's Longest Yard Sale. We have wanted to cruise on this river boat but never got the chance while it was still cruising, so our over nite stay was the next best thing. The cabin was roomy enough, the bed was very comfortable, the Wi-Fi worked, however the bath was a bit cramped. The breakfast […] was outstanding and the staff was very friendly & helpful. The only negative was the dinner menu was limited to bar food. All in all, it was a fun stay. We will do it again. Læs mere
