I have stayed in a range of hotels in HCMC and was tempted to check this one out based on the fine reviews. All-in-all I found that the service was unfriendly (one receptionist tried to keep the change when I paid the bill - only after numerous attempts did he return the cash) and the breakfast has a limited offering compared to other similarly priced […] hotels. The Asian Ruby 1 was very conveniently located near some very good restaurants. The breakfast was sumptuous, cooked western style, traditional Vietnamese food as well as cakes, croissants & Danish pastries. the hotel was nice very close to all the major attractions as well as nice restaurants and bars,no swimming pool but.

The view from the 11th floor is good while having breakfast. This hotel has a basic fitness room. Lots of places for the tourist within walking distance.

I would stay here again. This hotel is in a central location and close to a lot of great restaurants and places of interest like the Zoo and Markets. Our room was a deluxe superior room and it was really spacious, clean , tidy and had ornate oriental furniture Hoi An restaurant around the corner is fantastic, and may be a bit more expensive than other […] places but so worth it for really good service and great food with live traditional Vietnamese music. Not only is this place really cheap, it's also really classy. The 3.5 stars don't really do it justice. I stayed at both the Asian Ruby 1 AND the Windsor Plaza (5 stars) and although the Windsor Plaza had more facilities, the Asian Ruby 1 was simply better, and I'd go back there any day. What great value for money. The location is great - It's close […] to the best shops. Attractions in Saigon are not walking distance apart - you have to get a ride to the main sights, so there's no such thing as a location that's close to everything. This location is close to the main shopping areas and the Opera House. Great neighbourhood to walk around. The rooms are truly fantastic, much more than 3.5 star quality. Tidy, well equipped, not noisy. Internet is free (A must for me. Hotels charging for internet might as well charge for showers). All in all, I'd go back in a heartbeat. Læs mere

Convenient, clean hotel with attentive staff.

Room was clean - furniture old. Front rooms can hear a lot of street noise. go high or in back if possible. Staff was great. Location is 2 blocks from Sheraton, Hyatt and Caravelle all close to tripple in price. So is okay for the money but its not going to impress anyone - I will stay there again.

Of the 3 hotels I stayed at during my stay in southern Vietnam, this was the most expensive, but still fairly reasonable. This was also the smallest of the 3 rooms by far. To get to the in-room safe, I would have had to move the queen bed at least 12 inches, or lay down on the bed to open the safe. The view out my window was of the building behind us, […] about 6 ft away, and the fire escape. I also couldn't sit at the desk because the small tea table was right next to it. Mini-bar was okay, sodas, water, and alcoholic bevs, but no snacks. The shower and bathroom, however, were awesome. Location was alright, within walking distance of the BT Market and Notre Dame Cathedral. However, very much a downer, is that only 1 out of 5 taxi drivers even knew where the Asian Ruby 1 was, and he had to ask 3 others! If you stay at the Asian Ruby 1, make sure you memorize the address. Oh, yes, the breakfast buffet was very good, a little bit Western and a little bit VN. Good location, clean rooms, not-bad-service. Check-in was a breeze. Short walk to Dong Khoi, coffee bean, Parkson etc. Ok to walk to Pham Ngu Lao (backpacker's area) also - took about 20min tops. Came across as a little calculative as they didn't allow for late check-out at all, and wanted to charge me US$10 for a laundry bad that I used to hold soiled […] clothes. Other than that, we had a nice stay. Do not take up the tours offered at the reception cos they cost almost 3 times more than what you can get at Pham Ngu Lao (its the exact same tour cos they'll drop you at Pham Ngu Lao anyway). Picking a hotel from the many listings on the web is a daunting task, and I had no idea what I would really find on arrival, but the staff were great, from the front desk and doormen to the breakfast crew. The room was terrific, though I did expect to veiw the Saigon River from my deluxe room. This appears to have 'built out' by newer constructions. […] The water temp was a bit hard to regulate in the shower too, but these are exceptionally minor comments and had no impact on the qality of the stay. Built among a cluster of hotels on Thi Sach, first impressions are that they are extremely narrow hotels by Oz standards, however this in no way detracts from the facilities within. Close enough to easily walk to all the listed Saigon tourist attractions without effort or fear, I have no hesitation in saying it was as good a hotel to stay in for the 3 star range (worthy of more) as any I have encountered. The hotel, and my room, with a queen bed were both very clean when I arrived for a 5 day stay and were kept that way by the hotel staff throughtout the week, The free breakfast buffet had many selections (both Western and Asian) and the quality of thed food was good. GOOD LOCATION. VIEW OF THE ROOM'S WINDOW IS NOT NICE BUT DONT STAY IN THE HOTEL MUCH SO IT IS OK

・チーサック通り（メリン広場に近い辺り）から、1番のバスが出ていますので、ベンタイン市場やチョロン方面にも手軽に行けます。 ・朝食は11Fで6:30〜で、見晴らしもよくおいしかったです。バインフランもありました。 ・私が行った時は、欧米の方の利用が多いようでした。 ・窓なしの部屋でしたが、シャワーのホースが緩んでいて締まらず水がボタボタしていたことを除いて気になる点はなく快適でした。セーフティボックスはありませんでした。

Standard rom har ikke vindu, vi oppgraderte til Delux-rom og fikk et gløtt av himmel og div tak. Men hotellet er tiltalende, hyggelig betjening og ligger i et stille område. Billigere å bestille på Hotels.com enn direkte på hotellet. Vi likte oss veldig godt, var her i 6 døgn. Gikk til alle sentrale severdigheter og deltok på turer formidlet av hotellet […] til Mekongdeltaet og til Cu chi-tunellene. Læs mere

Mycket trevligt hotell i ett mycket bra område nära till allt men ändå lugnt. Otroligt fina rum i hög standard.

위치는 시내 1군에서 가까워 접근성이 상당히 뛰어납니다. 청결도는 베트남의 보통 수준의 호텔정도로 보시면 될 것 같습니다. 직원들은 상당히 친절하며, 숙박에 불편함은 없었습니다. 식사는 4일 머무는 동안 매일 같은 메뉴이었고, 조리상태도 만족스럽지 못하였습니다. 비지니스 출장 정도로는 무난하며, 어린아이 동반한 가족여행은 조금 더 고급 호텔이용을 추천드리고 싶습니다.

・お湯が出るまでに時間がかかりすぎる。５分程度はかかる。 ・トイレ内のトイレットペーパーホルダーの芯部分が頻繁にはずれる。 上記のような細かな点しか気にはなりませんでしたが、毎日のことですので、その都度気になりました。 他は快適でしたので、次回も利用したいと思っています。

夜遅くの到着にもかかわらず快く迎えてくれました。部屋は値段相応ですが、最低限の清潔さは保っています。翌日早い出発だったので気になりませんでしたが、滞在する場合は窓ありの部屋にした方が精神的に良いでしょう。バスルームはシャワーを使う際にしっかりカーテンを引かないとバスタブの外が水浸しになります。朝食は美味しかったです。

近隣には、日本人オーナーの飲食店がいっぱいあって活動しやすく安全性のよいホテルの立地です。 いつもホテル前には38272727のナンバーを書いたメーター付タクシー（安全）が待機（休憩？）しているので助かりましたね。 部屋はデラックスタイプに泊りましたが、窓からは景色ではなく、隣のホテルの客室が近くにお互い見えるのでカーテンを開けることは...。 シャワーはお湯が出るまでに１～２分かな...。 朝食は１０階までエレベーターで行き１１階がレストラン。早い時間帯がお勧め。女性スタッフは一度話かけると次の日もその次の日も笑顔で近づいて話してきてくれますよ。（ニッコリ） インターネットはMというフロント上の階でパソコンが無料で使えます。 ということで、４日間の滞在をしました。

到着時タクシーとトラブルになりましたが、ホテルマンが間に入ってくれました。場所も値段もよかったです。

호치민 중심지에서 걸어서 10분내에 위치한 호텔로서, 주변에 한식당과 마사지샵등 비지니스 여행을 하기에 좋은 사이트입니다. 3성 호텔로는 비교적 깨끗하고 저렴한 편 입니다.

Lindo hotel, muy limpio, excelente relación precio / calidad. Me volvería a hospedar si regreso a Ho Chi Minh. La habitación no era muy grande pero era cómoda, lo único desagradable, era el olor a cigarro del pasillo (está permitido en esa área) que ingresaba a la habitación.

Très bon rapport qualité/prix. Hôtel bien placé pour des visites à pied, personnel agréable, bon petit déjeuner. Nous avons réservé à l'accueil, la veille pour le lendemain, un guide et chauffeur pour 2 jours dans le delta du Mekong. Tout s'est bien passé.

Tilsammen bodde vi en uke på Asian Ruby 1. Opplevelsen var meget positiv. Bra standard på hotellet, og meget sentral beliggenhet samtidig som gaten utenfor ikke var den mest trafikerte. Gangavstand til restauranter, butikker og kjøpesentra. Vi opplevde nyttårsaften 2010 på hotellet, hvor alle gjester var invitert til party i lobbyen til gratis snacks […] og drikke. Personalet sto på pinne for oss hele tiden. Noe støy fra korridoren inn til rommene, men alt i alt et meget positivt opphold. Ved neste besøk i Saigon velger vi garantert det samme hotellet. 窓があるお部屋を探してましたが、期待通りで、お部屋の内装を始め、アメニティ、バスタブ、お湯、すべて満足でした。ロケーションもいいのですが、タクシーによっては、道に迷ったフリをされたりしたので、タクシーでホテルまで帰るときは要注意です。 また、テレビについてはベトナムのTVのみだったので、よくなかったです。

Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt durchaus zu empfehlen. Einzig und allein das Frühstücksbuffet könnte ein wenig frischere Speisen vertragen...

Het hotel was de duurste van onze 4 weken in Vietnam, maar als 1e hotel van onze reis perfect. Luxe en stijlvol, Zeer centraal gelegen in district 1, net 1 straat van het centrum, geweldig uitgebreid ontbijt met uitzicht over de hele stad, behulpzame aardige mensen, gratis internet (zoals de meeste hotels). De kamer was ook prima, netjes rustig en ruim. De […] transferservice van het vliegveld naar het hotel kan handig zijn, maar is 2x zo duur als een taxi en die zijn op het vliegveld prima te regelen. Na 2 dagen konden we niet verlengen (hotel vol) en hebben een ander hotel gezocht in De Tamstreet. Handig, om van daaruit dat gedeelte van de stad te bezoeken. Læs mere
