Tan Hai Long Hotel & Spa - Ho Chi Minh City

God beliggenhed, gode rene værelser. Eneste problem var, at der en enkelt gang løb vand fra aircon på værelset, det fiksede de. Fremragende service i receptionen, de bookede alle ture og billetter for os lynhurtigt til billige priser (bla. 2 dages tur til Mekong Delta for næsten ingen penge). Alt i alt fremragende værdi for pengene.

Gode og dårlige ting: Jeg boede på hotellet i 11 dage på en forretningsrejse Dårlige: Der var noget svingende rengøring af værelset. Nogle dage havde de glemt at fjerne teen, eller håndklæder. Der var dog ikke ulækkert, blot ikke kælet for detaljen. Toilettet virkede ikke særlig godt, til tider måtte jeg lige vente en 10 minutter for at kunne trække […] ordentligt ud, men det er ret typisk for Vietnam, at sanitetsforholdene ikke er helt i skabet. Der lugtede af fugtproblemer, og det satte sig i mit tøj. Det største problem var, at aircondition slukkes, når man forlader rummet, hvis de havde ladet den være tændt, var problemet løst. Der er ikke fitness eller pool på hotellet. Generelt forsøg at få et værelse højt oppe, så slipper du for gadelarm. Gode: Hotellet ligger i et super centralt område, midt i bylivet. Der er masser billige spisesteder i nærheden og et kæmpemarked, som har åben ca. 7-24. Det er også tæt bagtrecker området og nogle shopping centre. Der er et SPA på hotellet, som er lidt dyrere end billigeste spa, men det er lækre forhold. Personalet på hotellet er skønne! Ved siden a hotellet er et top moderne vestligt fitnesscenter. Jeg kommer måske igen, pga. fitness centeret. Et råd: Når du kommer ud af lufthavnen går du til venstre (ikke til højre, selvom taxxachauffører griber i dig)!!. Jeg blev glædelig overrasket over den høje standard som dette 3 stjernet hotel havde, og det kunne næsten ikke være mere centralt, tæt på alle de ting som jeg gerne ville se.

Tan Hai Long er et godt, pænt og rent hotel lige i hjertet af Ho Chi Minh City. Ligger lige op ad Ben Than Market og i gåafstand til rigtig mange af seværdighederne i byens centrum. Personalet var venligt og serviceminded og deres engelsk-kundskaber var også ganske udmærkede. My boyfriend and I had booked the junior suite, which turned out to be the size of a superior room with a couch sqeezed in. The so-called hot tub had a lot of dirt in the system, so it was kind of an unpleasant experience. Also, the staff were very unfriendly, and booking tours was a mess. I stayed with my family and had 3 separate rooms. Room 1 had no working ac. Room 2 was so cramped that it can cause claustrophobia. Room 3 had a bathtub that leaked regardless of what you try doing. And when you ask for towels, they bring you pillows over and over again. Few employees actually speak English for such a busy hotel. When I booked this hotel, I didn't expect a whole lot from this hotel because it was so cheap. But after staying there for the entirety of my trip, I have to say that it was the best value for my buck. The hotel is conveniently located in District 1 right next to Binh Thanh Market. While not at all bad, the mere location of this hotel makes it a gem, just around the corner is the Ben Thanh market and a 10-minute walk gets you to the Reunification Palace and the War Remnants Museum. Tan Son Nhat airport is a 15-20 min taxi ride away. The rooms are a little small but clean and nicely equipped, bathtub in all of them. Location was great near market. We booked a junior suite quiet high floor/ park view/ non smoking. We were given 1st floor street view! When questioned we were moved to a higher floor but with the city/ market view. Room was clean - b but smelled till air conditioner was left on for a while. Bathroom hadspa which was detatched from the wall so the bathroom […] floor was wet during showering. Breakfast was ok, but dining room was very hot with no air-conditioner. Location was good. It's a great hotel with all the necessities to make our stay comfortable. Staffs were very helpful. It's close to the main street in HCMC Le Loi. Breakfast was great and raw vege as salad didn't make my stomach grumble at all. Excelent location . Very efficient and really friendly staff. The room was very cosy and confortable. Nice atmosphere and breakfeast. The price is also good considering the quality of the hotel and being a 3 stars. I will recommend it to friends.

Very convenient location to night market shopping, street vendors, 24hour mini marts. Their breakfast buffet was good. Hotel had a special where they were giving 40%off their spa packages. Clean friendly hotel in great location. Next door to markets and half way between the backpacker district and the more expensive area. Small rooms that don't fit much more than a bed - but ok if your not planning on staying in your hotel much.

Stayed here for 5 nights. Had a room with no view ( you don't go to a country just to stay in your room) but very good air con. Nice spacious room with fair sized bathroom. very strong shower. Excellent location right next to the main market and a moderate 20 minute walk to all the sights worth seeing

Excellent location! Ben Thanh market just around the corner, and all the must-see-places within easy reach. Tidy rooms, though in superior-class quite small. Very good service. Free internet and sufficient amount of computers is a big advantage.

Overall hotel stay was pleasant and hotel reception was helpful. Location was good to walk around attractions. Housekeeping standard probably needs abit of improvement. Breakfast buffet had a good spread but hopefully hotel should extend the hours to 10am instead of 9.30am as tend to be crowded.

Well located hotel for those who wants to be near Ben Thah market. Centrally located, spacious and luxurious. Affordable, delicious and big-portioned room service food (especially their beef dishes!) Staff were honest and always eager to go the extra mile to make our holiday pleasant by liasing with locals for us without asking for tip (we did tip them on our own initiative afterall). Great location and a good 3 star hotel. The room was big and comfortable, great location. Breakfast was good although at times there was no room to sit as all tables were taken. Staff and service was good.

This hotel looks pretty much like all the other city hotels from the exterior. staff were pleasant and very helpful. room was small but adequate for the short time we spent there. breakfast was good but never enough seating for guests. this hotel is in the heart of it all which is really convenient but....if you need sleep forget it - we were at the […] back of the hotel but it was still extremely noisy throughout the night. a small price to pay for the location. This hotel is very close to all the sites we need to visit, also just next to the night market which is very convenience for shopping. This is very important for us for we stay the last night of our whole trip in this hotel before flying back home! This hotel is located right next to a market so shopping is made super easy. Will need to walk about 500m to the backpacker areas where a lot of the tour centres & eateries are located (but opposite a big park so walking is easy too). for holiday traveller, this is certainly the hotel to stay. it is close to tourist attractions . food stalls and street shopping are just around the hotel. guest just simply walk out the hotel to enjoy the shopping and food especially during the evening . hotel is clean and staffs are helpful.

Did alot of online research before settling on this hotel. Completely satisfied with our choice. Wonderfully located within walking distance of all the sights. The best thing about the hotel is it's location. Very handy for both sides of the city. The room was fine,only criticism I would make is rooms are outdated. It was fit for purpose though.

Super friendly staff. Helps with everything. Knows a lot about the city and what to do and see. Good location close to everything. Right in the midlle between the upclase hotel arrea and the backpacker arrea and right next to the market. Cooming back for another night before I leave Viet Nam

I must say that I am very happy with the location. Not only is it near the buzzing markets (Ben Thanh Day & NIte Mkt), easy access to tourist attractions are within walking distance and best of all, Pho 2000 is only a stone's throw away. We stayed in HCMC for 4 days and ate 4 times for Pho 2000!! As for amenties in the clean rooms (stayed in B wing), […] it even has sewing kit which is really above the 3 stars accorded to the hotel. Room is tiny but clean. Breakfast is included, good variety. Close to Ben Thanh Price may be higher than surrounding 3* hotels.

Hotel is right next to busy street on one side and the hustle bustle of a backstreet on the other, but late into the night it's quiet enough for a good sleep. RIght next to the Bhan Thanh market so excellent for shopping and carting them back rightaway. We stayed here for three nights in October 2011 and would recommend to others. They're located in the Backpackers District so you're central to the main sights, including the markets. We walked everywhere easily. The rooms are very clean and comfortable plus we the staff were quite helpful with questions, tour bookings and airport transfers.
