This hotel is convenience central with several hwy. interchanges, malls and many restaurants just a few minutes away. It is quiet, very clean and the staff are friendly and accomodating - we would definitely stay again!

easy accessibility

this is a very nice, clean hotel w/ friendly and helpful staff. we would definitely stay there again! we needed milk for a baby bottle at midnight, and the man at the front desk happily went and got it for us. The girl who "stocked" the breakfast buffet was also friendly and cheerful. The buffet was very well stocked w/ fresh food!!

Hotel was clean and quiet. Location was great for our purposes, although these is nothing to close enough t walk to there are many restaurants, shopping, etc nearby. My only complaint is that the heater/AV unit was loud, even on low setting.

We used this hotel when visiting our daughter at Syracuse University. It was close to the school and to shopping for items she needed. Great room for the price!

We were very pleased with the accomodations at this hotel. The free breakfast was great! Everything we needed was close to the hotel. Would stay here again!

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express after carefully reviewing all the comments made about the hotels at Carrier Circle and boy, are we glad we did! The room was spotless, the mattress ultra comfortable and the service was impeccable. We spent some time in the pool that was warmed to just the right temperature and I noticed that all that evening, and […] the next day, my joints didn't ache! It was a very short drive to numerous restaurants along Erie Blvd and the icing on the cake was the mouth watering breakfast that awaited us the next morning, before our long drive back to Buffalo. There were muffins, bagels, raisin, wheat and white toast, mini Spanish omelets, biscuits and gravy, sausage patties, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, milk, juice, coffee, tea and hot cocoa as well as several varieties of dry cereal and oatmeal. And don't forget those awesome sweet rolls! I know it sounds like a commercial, but I made the right choice in staying there and I will most definately make this my hotel of choice when I come back for my 40th high school reunion next summer! We enjoyed everything about our stay. The breakfast was wonderful. The staff friendly and helpful and the room was more than adequate. My grandson and daughter loved the heated pool.

Nice amenities, spacious rooms, clean, quiet, within driving distance of East Syracuse towns, some distance from highway. Full all the time, apparenlty, book ahead.

Weird shape of room as the hotel itself is round so my room was rounded as well; felt cramped and the layout of the hotel rooms was odd. Other than that, hotel served its purpose for a one night business trip stay.

very clean, efficient, comfortable

Not only is the hotel clean and up to date but the staff really make the difference. Every staff member we met was friendly, helpful and professional. The front desk even had hand out sheets of local restaurants and stores - a nice touch. The breakfast had choices and the food was fresh. Our room was a good size and in great condition.

I have to admit, I do not stay at Holiday Inn hotels but travel frequently and stay at many other brands and high end hotels. This hotel was excellent. The room was modern and clean, and had a nice smell in the air that was not overpowering. The amenities actually beat out some of the more expensive chains as the rooms come with mouth wash, tolietry […] kits, and shower gel instead of the gross soap bars. Little things make a difference when you travel alot. Also had a premium shower head. Breakfast included was very nice touch as well, not just continental but pretty much anything you could want. The location is right near a bunch of restaurants, so that was nice. However, the air conditioning system refused to work properly and the mattress have a plastic-like top to them, combining for a very warm and uncomfortable night.

The staff was helpful and polite, breakfast was amazing every morning. The entire hotel was spotless and we found it very conveniently located for getting to all of the places we wanted to go in Syracuse during our stay.

Excellent hotel. Truly non smoking. Will be booking next year.

Nice hotel, comfortable rooms. Shower was a challenge with water temperature but very large and accommodating room and washroom. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall a nice experience.

Hotel was nice and comfortable. Front desk staff seemed put-off that we booked through this website and didn't call the hotel directly (though they were also put-off that our relatives booked through the Holiday Inn website). Our family had some problem with a request that was made a week prior but the hotel did work to make it right.

HI Express was very nice. The complementary breakfast buffet had a wide variety of choices. A nice feature.

It was the perfect place to stop after a very long day on the road. The staff were pleasant and the rooms were crisp and modern...like new hotels. It was a good stay on a long drive.

I always check the cleanliness of by bed in hotels and when i got to my room and cheked my bed, my sheets were dirty! I think they didn't change the sheets before i got there but i called room service and they came to change my sheets right away. And do not make any long distance in your room because they charges me 7.26$ for 2 min.

The hotel was not too far from Syracuse University, the reason for our stay. Nothing in walking distance, but a couple of restaurants in close driving range. The staff was friendly, the room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom was roomy, too. Breakfast was disappointing, overall. A waffle maker would've perked up my teenager.

Room was clean; front desk courteous; buffet breakfast well stocked and ample variety; room price was good; disappointed to see the pool closed at 10, when the room guide and the sign by the pool said closes at 11. We arrived at 9:30, and figured we could hit the pool by 10 and still have an hour. Found it was closed and asked if we could at least spend […] 10-15 minutes, but were told the front desk could not access the pool (find that very hard to believe). Nice stay. Excellent service.

Good value for the money. Early check in wasn't a prob lem, although the clerk could have been a bit friendlier. The kids enjoyed the pool, and breakfast was decent.

We travelled on March Break for a shopping trip with our 11&15 year old. What a great place to stay! Nice and Clean. Close to lots of family friendly restaurants and shopping. We went to the outlets in Waterloo (about one hour away) one day and the Carousel Center (about 10 minutes away) the next day. The breakfast was good and plentiful and the pool […] made for great nightly entertainment for the kids after a day of shopping. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. We stayed in a suite which was nice and roomy and the kids were able to have thier own bed. The room included a sofa bed, little kitchen table and two chairs, a microwave, bar sink and fridge, a desk and club chair and ottoman. Recently my husband and I traveled to Syracuse with our daughter for a medical appointment. Upon arrival, the hotel staff was very friendly. We were given a nice bag of snacks for the evening. Our room was extremely comfortable, clean and up-to-date. We did not have a microwave in the room which is a bit of a concern for us as our daughter is on a special […] diet. We have to take her food everywhere we go, which also means we need to be able to heat her food. The front desk staff was phenominal with accomodating us with this need. They truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and to make sure our daughter had warm food to eat. We are very likely to stay at this hotel again and highly recommend it to other travelers if they are ever in the area. When I travel on business, I am simply looking for a clean, non-smoking room with no surprises. I do not require a luxury experience, just a clean room with adequate lighting, a desk for work and a firm mattress bed. This was a girls shopping trip. We booked a room with 2 queen beds at the Holiday Inn Express. The hotel is new and quite nice, the rooms are large and the beds are very comfortable. The hotel was better than expected. The reception desk personnell were very polite and professional. The hotel looked new or recently renovated. I was not expecting it to be as nice as it was. Overall nice experience. Free breakfast. We were traveling with a 14 month old and he had a good time too.

This is the second time that we have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in DeWitt and we had a great experience both times. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay in this area. I especially like the free breakfast in the morning. The hotel is conveniently located near both Cazenovia College, Syracuse University and the Carrosel […] Mall. The staff at this hotel is very rude. They do not accomodate their guests, nor do they do anything but stay on their cell phones all day.

Very enjoyable 2-night stay. Staff very accommodating and friendly. Hotel was very clean, quiet. Pool very clean with lots of towels and chairs provided. Breakfast was very enjoyable with lots of comfy seats to sit and enjoy it.
