Hyde Park Suites - Apartments - London

Lige som jeg havde forestillet mig. Helt igennem super god weekend!

De billiste lejligheder ligger i kælderniveau, med vindue, hvilket er lidt øv. Men ellers fin standard og køkken med alt hvad man har brug for. Dog ingen rengøring i løbet af ophold. Venligst personale og virkelig centralt beliggende ifht metro mm. Kan anbefales!

Receptionen ligger i et hus for sig selv, så man skal hen i et nærliggende hus for finde sit værelse. Dobbeltsengen er meget kort og smal. Der er meget lydt ! Men derudover er der rent og pænt og med perfekt beliggenhed lige op ad Hyde Park ( Kensington ) og tæt på undergrundsstationen Bayswater. Kan varmt anbefales !

Vi boede i en lejlighed til 5 personer. Værelset var lidt slidt, til gengæld har lejlighederne en fantastisk beliggenhed. To undersgrundsstationer indenfor 5 min.

Sengen var dårlig. Man kunne høre naboerne. Indretningen manglede finish. Lejligheden kunne ikke leve op til beskrivelsen. God beliggenhed.

Småt men godt. Der er det to mennesker har behov for. Lige med undtagelse af et spisebord som passer til stolene. Bussen eller Subway ligger få 100 meter fra hotellet.

Vi tog afsted for at have en forlænget weekend væk fra børnene. Vi ledte efter et hotel der var billigt, tæt på underground og i gåafstand til Oxford Street. Vi fik bestemt det vi ledte efter og hvad vi havde brug for. Sengen var udmærket og badeværelse med vask, toilet og brus. Hertil kommer et køkken. Køkkenet fyldte dog halvdelen af dette ca. 15 […] m2 store lokale, og med et ophold i London hvor vi ikke skulle bruge hotellet til andet end stort set at sove, var det overkill. Toilettet løb og vinduet utæt og der var meget lydt. Hotellet var for nyligt blevetr renoveret - eller forsøgt renoveret. Der sås flere lamper hængende ud af væggen på trappen og indretningen var horibel - men det er selvfølgelig smag og behag. Alt i alt må dog siges at vi var ganske tilfredse med det hele, da vi netop havde søgt i denne kategori - ikke for fornemt og ikke for dyrt. Læs mere

Måtte bede om toiletpapir to gange. Sur og uvenlig receptionist. Ingenrengøring af værelse under ophold.

Vi havde en superior studio, hvilket var en stor 1 vær. lejlighed med dobbeltseng og 2 sofaer, spiseafd. og køkkenafd. og badeværelse. Synes den var rigtig god, savnede dog elevator.

I stayed in London for four days with my teenage daughter, and the Hyde Park Suites Apartment that we got was just perfect. Newly renovated, clean, and first of all a convenient location between Paddington and Lancaster Gate, close to everything. The room was well sized, the kitchen well equipped, and the bathroom fine. It is not a hotel, more like […] a small flat in a normal building, which suited us just fine. The staff was friendly, reception located near Queensway, so we had to take a bus to our apartment, but that didn´t matter much. Mindre men fint forholdvis nyt restaureret værelse med bla ovn, mikroovn, brødrister og elkeddel så man kan lave morgenmad etc. Har boet på hotellet 2 gange og er begge gange blevet tildelt et bedre værelse end det bestilte så standard kan måske variere. Go beliggenhed på stille gade tæt på Paddington og Bayswater station. Også gode busforbindelser […] om natten. Håndklæde skiftes efter 3 dage og rengøring er først efter en uge, hvilket lige er lidt nok hvis man bor 3 mennesker i et værelse. Vil helt sikkert anbefale hotellet hvis man vil have et hotel til ok pris og gerne vil være tæt på grønne områder da Kensington Gardens og Hyde Park ligger meget tæt på. NB. Pga. forsinket fly til London måtte vi løbe for at nå at tjekke ind før reception ifølge hotellets hjemmeside lukkede kl 22, men fik så at vide at receptionen nu er åben til 5 om morgenen selvom hjemmesiden siger noget andet. Fejl: 1. Ventilator i badeværelse fungerede ikke 2. Hængsel i bruseniche-dør defekt 3. Flere fliser i bruseniche var faldet af 4. Intet håndtag på toiletbørste 5. Persienne for vindue var i stykker - dele lå på taget uden for vinduet 6. Meget lydt til begge naboer - det virkede som om der slet ikke var væg over køkkenskabe - man kunne følge fuldt med […] i samtaler 7. Antennestik hængte ubeskyttet ud af væggen 8. Elkedel var utæt 9. Vindue på trappeopgang stod åbent i flere dage og kunne ikke lukkes 10. Ingen viskestykker til aftøring af opvask Mangler: A. Det ville være ønskeligt med en lille hylde i bruceniche, når der er dårlig plads til at bukke sig for at nå gulvet i brucenichen B. Tæt på undergrunden, der var hvad der var brug for i lejligheden, tilpas lys og rolig bygning. Opredningen var dog på en sofa, der ikke helt var egnet til formålet, men det gik nu alligevel. Kan bestemt anbefales.

God placering i forhold til Hyde park samt metro hvis man ikke ville gå. Det var okay, men manglede desværre lidt service til at man kunne hygge på værelset hvis man selv ville lave mad, så det blev kun til let morgenmad.

Fik et kælder værelse , det stank af fugt. skulle gudske tak og lov kun være der to dage, ellers var vi flyttet.

Vil anbefale dette hotel med forbehold. Lejligheden vi boede i var fin og bedre end forventet. Forbeholdet ligger i at sengen var det værste jeg har oplevet. Stenhård og havde ingen mulighed for at blive udhvilet. Men hvis man lige er opmærksom på det ene forbehold, ja så er det klart at anbefale. Fint lille køkken og pænt nyere badeværelse.

Det var en rigtig god lille lejlighed, ren og pæn, men manglede aircon (var der i hedebølge). Der var alt hvad man skulle bruge i lejligheden både til at lave mad osv. Kvarteret var dejligt - og rigtig tæt på en station. Det eneste minus var, at man ikke fik at vide ved bestilling at man skulle 83 trappetrin op.

God beliggenhed, bl.a. nemt at komme til Oxford Street. Dog lidt ussel seng. For lidt lydisolering, man kunne høre hver gang overboerne tog et skridt i deres lejlighed. Brusebad havde dårlig lugt - gætter på der var lidt svamp. Overordnet godt - mest pga beliggenhed.

We're a family of 4 (2 adults 2 children). this apartment is close to Queensway shops just one block away, so we can buy everythings we need for our breakfasts and dinners. the kitchen is good enough for preparing the meals. to subway stations Queensway and Bayswater, it's just 5 minutes to walk. another 5 minutes walk you can reach Hyde Park. the street […] this apartment located is very clean and beautiful, a typical London mid-class suburban, you always feel safe in the evening. From the moment we were "greeted" by the person at the front desk (extremely rudely) we knew we were in for trouble! It only got worse when we got to the room. We were not expecting the Ritz, but, we also were not looking for a room that was a step or two below a homeless shelter. The first thing we saw were dirty, uncovered, worn wood floors. The walls […] and ceilings were filthy and every area was in disrepair. The kitchen had seen its best days about 30 years ago and was in desperate need of renovation. The windows had no drapes and were covered by dirty shutters that looked like they were from WWII. The bathroom was dirty, tiny and also in desperate need of a major facelift. The shower was tiny and the water pressure was like a geriatric hampster with prostate problems! I cannot say with any more emphasis that it was a complete waste of time to stay at this terrible hotel. Even more than half of the TV channels did not work, they were just a jumbled mess! There were multiple light fixtures which had obvious electrical burning around them and did not work. The microwave rocked back and forth when you used it. The one bedroom apartment looks nice in the pics but in reality is very tiny. Not much ventilation and poor heating. No electric sockets near the beds for charging cell phones and no reading lights near the beds. Kitchen was well equippped with good appliances. Most crockery is chipped though. The main entrance foyer is quite dirty and poorly lit. The […] area near the elevator on ground floor has virtually no light. The intercom does not work so when your guest comes in you have to go all the way down to open the main access door. There is absolutely no house keeping if you stay less than 7 days so be prepared to take along tons of kitchen towels and toilet paper. Not even emptying the garbage bins daily. Staff is good at the front desk. The location is fabulous so that makes up for most of the draw backs. Læs mere

Location within 200m from two different subway line stops, Hyde Park, restaurants, pubs and supermarkets. Room condition was ok, but the third bed was really bad. Anyhow, we mentioned this in the reception and got a new mattress which was better. The kitchen had everything necessary for cooking (pots, pans, cutlery, glasses, cups, toaster, kettle and […] so on). We stayed for four nights, towels were changed once, but no other cleaning was done. For a budget hotel, it was fair. The appartment size was very good, but the beds were uncomfortable. We were 4 people with one bedroom and one pullout sofa bed that was very small for a teenager and young adult. The extra pullout couch was broken and uncomfortable to sit in. There was a skylight that was over the pullout bed which looked up into the […] apartment above. Full conversations could be heard as if we were sharing a room with the people upstairs. The front desk service was very good and very helpful. The apartment was clean but the sinks did not drain very well. We travelled to 3 different countries on our vacation and stayed in low budget hotels and apartments. London's apartment was the most expensive. We would have considered looking for another hotel if we hadn't paid for it in full before hand. Læs mere

Pleased with the overall standard of the room. Stayed in worse 4* hotels. Double room with little kitchen & seating area suited our needs for 3 nights. Street does have other hotels on it so expect some noise of passers by late at night. However, location excellent as you have access to Queensway & Bayswater Tube less than 5 min walk. Kensington Gardens […] at top of street & if you like walking you can easily enjoy a walk to Marble Arch where you can get the sightseeing tour buses. We stayed here for 5 nights! And we just realized that the towels would only change every 3rd day of our stay! And the house-keeper only came to our room to collect the old towels and replaced the new one! That is! I can accept this arrangement coz it is a self service apartment but would appreciate much if towels can be changed daily! One thing surprised […] me is that we have to go to the recetion (not in the same building) to get the extra toilet paper from them as there is only one roll in the room and wondering they expected us this roll can be used for 5 days! Besides these, the location is very convenient, the room is clear with most of the kitchen tools. I would stay here again if they could offer me a roll of toilet paper everyday! Læs mere

We walked a block to our apartment after checking in which was no problem. The people were very kind and helpful. After checking out, they stored luggage until our evening flight at no cost so we tipped (but they didn't seem to expect it. ) The price was right. The buildings were older but updated and had good atmosphere. We would use them again. The […] staff was VERY helpful which made up for being marginal 3 star accomodations. I stayed at these apartments at the beginning of December with my girlfriend. The booking was made quite late and what attracted us was the price as well as the location in relation to Hyde Park. The apartments are situated very close to the park as well as near to Bayswater Tube Station which was ideal. We stayed for only one night as we were in London […] to see a concert at the Royal Albert Hall. The room was very clean and had was very modern. We had no complaints at all and it will definitely be my first port of call when I next travel to the capital. Læs mere

(for reference, I was in room 1C of No. 81. It was a basement suite) The room itself was fantastic, for what it was- large, fully-featured kitchen, comfortable bed. The TV wasn't bad, but the choice of channels was strange (didn't have the full complement of normal UK channels- only three- but did have 80 'world' channels from Italy to Saudi Arabia). The […] real downside was the bathroom. It was freezing- there was an 80% window, very thin wall to the outside that any heat immediately escaped from. There was no holder for the shower head, so I had to hold it myself. Also no shower curtain. The room seems like it was renovated relatively recently. I can only hope that the renovations on the bathroom are not complete, and that in the future the bathroom will be up to the same level as the main room. Læs mere

Not really value for money because they are quite small but you need to take into account the cost of accommodation in London so relative to that I guess it is reasonable. Handy to have the kitchen and the location is close to a lot of interesting places to which you can walk. The Queensway is in the next street and has lots of restaurants and shops […] and an underground station. Læs mere

Very nice apartment with kitchenette , convenient to bayswater tube station , lots of restuarants , pubs , convenience stores ( tescos & sainsburys ) hyde park ,just around the corner. Would definitley stay again . 5*****

Good points are 1. the place is very close to underground station, just 1-2 mins walk. 2. apartment is not in No. 55, is apartment closeby no. 55. It's located in quiet street, while close to shops, restaurants and Kensington Park (is very nice park). Also it's in city circle, not far from many attraction places. 3. Room with well-equiped kitchen, bed […] & toilet is clean 4. have central heating, is warm enough during the winter. Bad points: 1. Toilet is very tiny. 2. Concrete is thin. Firstly I was offered a room in 2nd floor, i could feel ppl walk in upstairs. After complaint, changed to a room on the top floor, problem solved. I was pleasantly surprised by the Hyde Park Suites. The location was lovely and just a few minutes from 2 tube stations and Hyde Park itself. The apartment itself was easily big enough for myself and my girlfriend and we were lucky enough to have a balcony of our as well, although it was December when we stayed so it was difficult to make much use of […] it. The staff were very helpful, although we rarely needed to speak to them, and they seemed to be at the front desk at all hours of the day and the night. If you are looking for somewhere to stay nearby Hyde Park and don't mind going self-catering then I would definitely recommend taking a look at this place. Læs mere

The receptionists were not very friendly. The bed is not very comfortable. We stayed on the fourth floor. The light sensors were not working. It was a bit scary, thankfully, it was repaired on the following day.

Bare, dirty wooden floorboards, no heating, furniture that looked like it had been rescued from a skip, surly staff. I have travelled across every continent, and stayed in some truly horrendous holes, but the bed in this particular dump is probably the most uncomfortable I have ever encountered. This place is a total kip. Avoid at all costs.

a quick tube, short walk and steps up to a clean, safe, comfortable place with a full kitchen. Don't look at the broken floor tile and uneven grout in the bathroom and unwaxed/finished wooden floor. Being clean and having very comfy bed and linens with an immaculate kitchen with items necessary for a stay. Budget economy appartment which completelly met my expectations. Very good located with close proximity to underground.

The apartments are pretty small, but fairly comfortable and well kitted out, including a kitchenette - a great feature if you don't want to eat out every night. TV has freeview which is a bonus. My favourite thing about the rooms though is the shower. Really powerful! The location is superb, in the heart of Baywater near Hyde Park, you can easily […] get on the district, circle or central line so can get pretty much anywhere in London without any hassle. Fully recommend these apartments for a business trip or a weekend away. Note though these are apartments though so don't expect a hotel service. Læs mere

Horrible place - stay away. 1. Reception not open 24/7. 2. It's not so much a hotel as much a bunch of random apartments scattered around the neighborhood. Have to check into one place, but then lug your luggage to the actual apartment. 3. My apartment was on 5th floor walk up with a tiny stairs that barely fits the luggage. Inside the apartment there […] was another stairs as it was a duplex with no mention of this during reservation. 4. There are no services of any kind: no food, no help with luggage, no concierge, no phone, etc. Læs mere
