Hotellet ligger en anelse dårligt idet det ligger lige ved en stor meget befærdet rundkørsel, men hvis man kan se bort fra det, ligger det ganske godt. I gåafstand af centrum med alle butikker og restauranter. P-pladser ved hotellet og restaurant på hotellet. Morgenmaden er ok til prisen.

Dette hotel ligger ikke langt fra motorvejen, så det er nemt at komme til for den gennemrejsende. Til gengæld tager det 20 minutters tid ind til centrum, hvis man vil med de offentlige transportmidler. Sporvognen er dog en hyggelig oplevelse. Centrum af byen er hyggeligt om aftenen og bestemt værd at besøge til eksempelvis aftensmad. På hotellet er der ligeledes restaurant og bar. Morgenmaden er en smule dyr, men der er til gengæld et bredt udvalg. Værelserne er pæne, rene og hele hotellet fremstår generelt nyt. På værelset er der både TV, hårtørrer, strygejern, elkedel og trådløst netværk. Sengene er bekvemme og belysningen passende. Alt i alt en god oplevelse.
Placering.
Hallmark Inn Derby - formerly European Inn Derby ligger i hjertet af Derby og er tæt på Westfield Centre, Pride Park og Derby Museum and Art Gallery. I nærheden er også Derbyshire County Cricket Club og Derby Cathedral.

"Very convenient for Derby Station"
We got stuck after the last train was cancelled(thank you Cross Country trains). This hotel popped up as both close and affordable. When we arrived, our order was still being processed but the excellent and friendly staff gave us a key anyway (thank you!). We were very impressed with the quality for the price - and a lovely TV! Everything worked as it should. Only downpoint we found were the beds. In perfect condition but very hard and gave us both stiff backs. Spent the next night at Stoke at a four star more expensive hotel in a different chain and we found ourselves keep comparing that one unfavourably […] to this one in a number of respects. Læs mere

Rooms very old and dated although clean. Make sure to get room at back as very noisy at the front with the traffic. Post Office Depot on opposite side with large lorries coming and going all night. Staff are okay but will not go out of their way to help you. EG when wanted iron and ironing board, I had to bring up myself. Breakfast was okay. However, […] never been in a hotel where the mixed fruit is soaking in water and not the juices. Tasted awful. Again staff seemed annoyed when you asked them for something. Overall, cheer up guys. "Hallamrk Hotel Derby - A great stay"
A very good value hotel, staff were absolutely brilliant and couldn't do enough to help us! Highly recommended, great service fro a very sensibly priced hotel! Well done.
Nice hotel within easy walking distance(mostly pedestrianised) of the magnificent Westfield shopping centre. room was clean and warm and spotlessly clean. only negative was we were at the rear of the hotel and at times it was a little noisy. would definately stay again but request a room at the front of the hotel

Good value room, clean bathroom and hot water always worked unlike some hotels, coffee and tea facilities supplied with ice machines on the floor for cold beverages, my only criticisms would be the small choice of drinks at the bar, many drinks had ran out and the price was fairly expensive for alcoholic drinks too, but the the price paid for the rooms […] i didn't mind this too much, happy with stay overall, would recommend to anyone needing somewhere to stay to visit family or friends. I have spent 3 nights in this hotel after a long trip from my country. The room as well as all of the facilities were great. polite receptionists willing to assist you at any time made my stay pleasant. Overall 100% happy. clean hotel, quite, polite personel and very good prices so.. what more to ask for.
No shuttle service to Rolls Royce and City Centre.

Basically it does the job! On the footstep of Derby train station, safe and secure parking, rooms were not exceptional but good enough for the price and convenience. Overall, good hotel!

Close to the railway station and close to every day amenities. Centre a good 10 minute walk away but very doable. Found the hotel easily and the whole place is very well presented. On-check in, the receptionist seemed very disinterested, but was efficient in getting me the key although she did or said little else. Room was large, bright and very clean and so was the ensuite. The reason I chose this hotel was the fact it was close to Derby Rail Station. Second reason was the price, which I found very reasonable. I found my accommodation better than my expectations and would return if in the Derby area in the future. When booking a hotel what I personally look for is somewhere close to a rail/bus station as I mainly travel […] by public transport. I also like to have a pub and takeaway within walking distance.
