Fairfield Inn by Marriott New York Manhattan/Times Square - New York

Dejligt hotel som ligger tæt på alt på manhattan. Kan varmt anbefales til børnefamilie. ligger på 40 th street mellem 7 og 8 ave, tæt på hells kitchen, som er et dejligt spise område. 100 m fra subway som gå helt ned til Groud Zero.

Fairfield in er et godt hotel med en super cool beliggenhed meget tæt ved Times Square. Desværre var hotellet under ombygning da vi var der, men det så ud til at blive dlot bagefter (gjakdt Lobby/receptions området, restauranten og elevatorerne. Men klart et hotel jeg vil anbefale til andre,

Convenient location, near subway, and in walking distance to Times Sq, Port Authority. However it is next to the Parole Board. Breakfast setup was great, also easy and convenient.

We stayed here for a friend's bachelorette party with a party of 13. The hotel was nice, staff was friendly. The rooms were comfortable for 2 adults but were a bit cramped for more people due to room size. The bathroom was nice and clean, but did not have counter space for hairstyling & putting on makeup. There are only 8 rooms per floor, so for a 20+ […] floor hotel you might need to anticipate leaving a few minutes early because the elevator can take a while sometimes. The concierge was a huge help, and we tipped him for his services. I would definitely stay here again. It is conveniently located close to Times Square although it is a few blocks away from the main street. Læs mere

The room was a little small for two people. At night I would not recommending to walk outside and not very easy to get a cab. Otherwise knowing what I know about this hotel I would stay there again..

can't believe we were able to stay in NY for such a good price and the comp breakfast was as good as i have ever had in a hotel....handy to the things we wanted to see.

What a wonderful find! The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. It was a perfect location since we were arriving by bus. It was so close and convenient. I would definitly stay there the next time I visit NYC.

I will highly recommend this hotel.

thought the place was close to times square and within walking distance from most activities in that area. The breakfast was far better than expected than most continental breakfasts! Fresh coffee, tea or hot water all day long!

Staff was very helpful, location was good. Met many friendly people. Hotel was very clean.

Hotel was ok. The location was great. Easy access to subway, bus or just walking anywhere in the city. They are still doing some renovations so be warned. The roof top bar was a great surprise. It is very popular on the weekends.

Close to Times Square, subway and Empire State Building. Rooms very nice but rather small. Excellent breakfast probably the best we've ever had just not enough seating. The Hotel is remodeling so that is a little difficult but the staff is super helpful and friendly.

With the exception of the lobby remodeling going on, most everything was wonderful. Location perfect for what we wanted. Hotel concierge very helpful, as was the front desk staff and bellman at check-out.The room was very clean and comfortable Hskpng staff terrific. I only wish I had known that the lobby of our hotel was undergoing renovations. The continental breakfast selection was lovely, but we were forced to eat awkwardly in the cocktail lounge on the roof. Several times we had to wait 5+ minutes for an elevator. And after 4pm, hotel guests lose 1 of the three SMALL elevators to people going to party in the […] rooftop bar. Everything just felt so cramped. I'd like to try this hotel again when all their renovations are completed. But I was disappointed that we were offered nothing to compensate for the inconvenience caused by it. A free round of drinks at the rooftop bar would have been enough to make this review a more positive one. Læs mere

The hotel was very clean and we found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful. The hotel was very conveniently located. The bellmen were always willing to be of assistance and provided great recommendations and directions. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to our friends and family.

The lcocation of hotel is perfect as it takes only walking distance to Broadway for business nad shopping in Manhattan.

Very much enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was better than expected. The location is only 2 blocks from Times Square. Overall it was a good stay and will stay again.

The hotel and almost everyone that worked there were pleasant and helpful. Even in the skyroom we had a waitress who took the time to discuss wine options with my 25 year old niece. The hotel was clean and the breakfast they serve was above and beyond most continental breakfasts I've encountered. I would have rated this hotel with all 5's if it had […] not been for the concierge. Not only was he rude when we asked for a map showing times square (Which if you are a concierge in nyc you know what folks are talking about) but he also stated he could give us a deal on NY passes and we wouldn't have to go to Planet Hollywood to pick them up. There were 6 of us who heard these specific comments. Well, he cost us 50.00 extra and we absolutely had to go and pick them up. Not only did he lie but his attitude was as before-rude and condescending. I have been to NYC several times and stayed at several hotels and never-never have I dealt with a concierge who was so rude. So Fairfield-your hotel is very nice and your staff is working hard for you and are very pleasant. But you really need a concierge with the ability to deal with people the same way your front desk folks, housekeeping and everyone else at your hotel treat people. We paid extra for a premium city view. There is only one small window in the hotel, Yikes! And the you can't not pull the curtains back far enough to use the window. Plus e thought we ordered a king bed, we had two queens, they wouldn't help since we did not book directly.

Good value all around. Clean rooms, a bit crowded, but then there was three of us. Would definitely stay there again. Good free breakfast. Lovely view across the city while you're eating too! We liked it alot.

We stayed at the Fairfield Times Square for New Year's Eve. Even on that crazy of a day, our room was ready when we arrived at 9:30am. The location was perfect (although a little seedy but not dangerous by any means). The room was clean and very nice. NO Bedbugs! Breakfast was a great addition! All in all, very satisfied. Room and beds were very clean and comfortable, though a little cramped with two double beds. Front desk and concierge staff extremely accomodating and friendly.

Bills it self as times square and while it is close enough, it certainly isn't times square. The rooms are small but very nice and new. Lots of construction going on, but it is nice and quiet in the rooms. Nice to have a free breakfast in the morning. Would stay here again.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The free breakfast was a nice addition. The only concern if the hotel is located next to the Port Authority and the area is a little questionable at night.

While hotel is not directly in Times Square, and the area in which it is in seems to be under quite alot of construction, the hotel was very clean and modern and a great place to stay if you dont mind walking a bit. We loved this hotel! Im picky when it comes to hotels and will pay more for a great hotel. This one had it all! It was close to Times Square, 1/2 a block to a major subway hub, and was very swanky. The staff was very friendly and the room was emmaculate. More that i could have wanted. I also loved the free 24 hr coffee in the lobby. Its a smaller hotel […] with only 8 rooms per floor wich makes for narrow halls, but the room was Very comfortable. I dont know what you people expect in a New york city hotel but this was the perfect room size. The bathroom while beautiful and clean, was a bit small for 2 people. We discovered when we got back that the hotel is advertising a roof top breakfast area and restaurant...that we never saw. Its still under construction as far as we know cause we ate in the lobby with everyone else. We tried to go to the roof but the elevator wont let you go that high. So maybe it will be completed soon? My only complaint is that a housekeeper ignored our "privacy" door hanger and kept banging until we finally answered to give us towles. We didnt want towles because we were trying to be green as per their request. But everyone was very friendly and would get the elevator for you and wish you a great day anytime they saw you. I read complaints on the neighborhood so let me clarify. Its the Garment district not 5th avenue, what did you expect? We were next door to the corrections parole building ( always a cop around), the Bus depot (huge subway hub very convienient)a parking garage (again convienient) but you did have to walk past a few dvd and porn shops...nothing that would disturb children though. My son and I were both very pleased with the Fairfield Inn Times Square. The included breakfast was nice; the room was very clean, well-appointed and up-to-date. The staff was very helpful and courteous. I thought it was a great value for the money. The bathroom especially was very modern and clean. It is by far the nicest hotel I have stayed in in […] NYC. On the positive side: The hotel was very clean, nice and at a convenient location, and the staff was very kind and accommodating. Internet, breakfast, and newspapers were complimentary. On the not so good side: the breakfast was of average quality, the street had a couple of X-rated DVD stores, and there were only 3 elevators so it made us wait a couple […] of minutes to go down. Also, the internet in the rooms are wired internet, wireless is in the common areas. Overall, the "not so good side" did not matter at all. Fin beliggenhet, hyggelig personale. Frokosten var bra, varier veldig om det er fullt i spisesalen eller ikkes,avhenger av hva klokken er. Wifi på rommet,samt pc disponibel i fellesareal. Gratis kaffe og annen varm drikke 24/7. Hotellet har en slags turistinformasjon i lobbyen, hvor man kan få hjelp til det meste.

Frokost inkludert, selvbetjening men frokostrom var alt for lite. Folk måtte spise stående, vente ller ta med på rommet. Alt var av plast bestikk, skåler og krus.

Ett bra och prisvärt hotell. Plus för närhet till flygbussar. Rent och snygg. Centralt beläget. Litet minus för trång frukostmatsal. Dock ligger hotellet på en tveksam gata med porrbutiker.

Nær beliggenhet til Times Square, Brodway og andre severdigheter, restauranter, shopping, buss-stasjonen, undergrunnen, ja til det meste.

Hôtel très bien situé, non loin de Times Square, rénové récemment et offrant un bon petit-déjeuner. Le seul petit bémol est l'absence de réfrigérateur dans la chambre.

Modernes Hotel gegenüber vom Busterminal gelegen. Zum Times Square sind es etwas 5-10 Minuten zu Fuß. Während unseres Aufenhaltes war die Lobby eine Baustelle; dies war allerdings vorab bekannt und hat nicht sonderlich gestört. Die Zimmer sind gut eingerichtet und in einem neuwertigen Zustand. Der Frühstückraum ist wunderschön im obersten Stockwerk […] gelegen, aber leider bei voller Hotelbelegung etwas klein (teilweise lange Wartezeiten für einen Sitzplatz). Fint hotell. Litt små rom hvis du er en familie på 4. Frokosten var bra, men det var lite plass i frokostsalen, så vi måtte ta med oss maten og spise på rommet. Veldig bra service og flott beliggenhet.

El hotel es estupendo, el desayuno bufet muy rico y está situado inmejorablemente para visitar Nueva York. Exquisita la atención recibida por parte de todos los empleados y tienen muchos. Muy recomendable. Si volvemos a Nueva York volveremos a este mismo hotel.

Nice clean and friendly hotel in a perfect location. O.K breakfast. I`ll stay there again with out hesetation.
