Great location - typical room for the price with a great view of the park and ocean. Easy to get to lots of places and activities. Great vacation spot PV.

Hotel is in a great centro location..A little noisy but very festive. Staff was helpful. Stayed here starting in 1998...Hotel update improved coolness of room. A good place to stay one or two nights when in route or traveling.

The staff was very friendly. if you don't like being woken up at 8 in the morning to a zumba class in the park, i suggest you bring ear plugs. very close to beaches, bus stops and stores. breakfast on the rooftop is nice.

We loved the space of the suite for our family of 3. It was on the 2nd floor looking down at the ground level pool. It's quite noisy at night and in the morning. There were no shampoo, hand towels and hair dryer in the bathroom. Our room has good working air conditioner and refrigerator. Besides the water stain on curtains and chipped paint on the wall, […] the room is clean the bed is comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was OK, don't expect bacon or eggs or potatoes. Since we were mostly busy exploring the surroundings, We love the location of this hotel, so convenient to go anywhere. The only complaint I have is that there was NO wifi in the room. We will come back to Hotel Eloisa again for it's location. I don't recommend this hotel to honeymooners. Læs mere

I loved the location, hotel roof top deck with amazing views of water and City add a light breakfast up there and you have the start of a perfect day in PV. The only think missing is wi fi is only available in the lobby wish it was in the rooms or roof top deck. Booked one of the suite's facing the park. M-F 8am-9am Dance Arobics with amplified music in the park, will wake you up. Then after 9am quiet. Rooftop pool just for a dunk - only 4ft @ deep end. Great location-staff nice. Will stay again.

This hotel is great. Reasonable price, great location in the Romantic zone, simple but comfortable. Nice rooftop with small pool and friendly staff. We had a balcony and great view of the park across the street.

On arrival in the room, we rated it as 1 step above a prison cell. No TV, one little chair in the corner and an interior window, facing the stairs . However, the beds were very comfortable. We always enjoy our stay here. My husband is disabled and the location is great for being close to everything we like. View to beach and to watch cultual events in the park right from the balcony. The roof top pool and complimentary breakfast cannot be beat when you need to get away from the beach vendors. No phone, TV in my room. What a blessing! The […] staff knows you, so if you get a phone call, they come to find you just like in the old movies. If you are okay without all the frills, this is the place to stay. I hate to write this as I know that if it gets more popular, then it may be harder for me to get my great room! Love it, but keep it a secret! The biggest problem was when the desk clerk telephoned for a taxi to the airport. I should have been suspicious when the driver placed my bags in the front with him. The taxi driver stole my watch (appx $200.00) and some expensive clothing (appx $250.00).

We have stayed here before and have never been disappointed with the staff or management. We always stay in the suite for the roominess, fridge, coffee machine, toaster and 2 element cooking plate. Breakfasts of coffee, cereal, plate of sliced fruit with yogart, juice and some pastries on the rooftop are always included with your stay, a real bonus. […] The park side can be noisy from busses to partiers, but the entertainment from your balcony is well worth it. It is also warmer due to the sun on your balcony all day, but each suite has new air conditioning and newer type fans. There is a pool in the lobby area, but doesn't seem to get much sun, but there is also a nice size dipping pool on the rooftop. Everything is close to the Eloisa including great eateries such as wonderful Gelato, coffee house that offers hundreds of soft covers for reading, a little bar, massage shopping and beer, morning and evening Zumba classes in the park for about $4.00 a week, all just steps from the front door. So if you want quieter or shadier ask for a unit not facing the park. The owner actually lives in the hotel, so we believe this is a bonus aspect on how well it is looked after. A reminder that one should always try to tip your cleaning staff who also look after the morning breakfast a couple bucks a day and for the biggest and most appreciative smile, hand the maintenance fellow or the the young cleaning girl that keeps the hallways sparking clean a tip...well worth the smile! THE ONLY PROBLEM WE HAD WAS WITH THE COLD WATER FAUCET IN THE BATH ROOM. ONCE WE ADVISED THE FRONT DESK, THE FAUCET WAS REPLACED THE NEXT DAY. THE HOTEL IS NOT FANCY BUT HAS A GREAT LOCATION. YOU CAN WALK EVERYWHERE, SO THERE IS NO NEED FOR A CAR. WE HAVE STAYED HERE FOR THE PAST EIGHT YEARS WITH MORE TO COME.

Suite 41 and I assume all the suites were great. 1bdrm,living room, kitchen w/fridge, 2burner stove, dishes, cups, everything you need to cook. walk to the Mega (grocery store 6 blks) Oxxo is like a 7-11 bed was king but very hard, pillows were also stiff, living room couch/beds were couchons on concrete molded couches. Not comfortable either best […] to lay them on the floor. View was great of old down town and ocean in distance (1block) bathroom can not flush toilet paper due to plumbing but that is all of the old part of mexico. The location is great- just a block from the beach and the boardwalk. The beds were really really firm and the shower was poor. As soon as we used it, it flooded the bathroom, right into the sleeping area. Someone came right away to mop it up but we were told not to use too much water at a time or it would happen again! Not great. at around 3:00 am […] a group of very loud, roudy folks who had been drinking started knocking on doors and making a lot of noise. The door opened to a stone counter with two barstools. Beyond was the kitchen - a butane powered stove, coffeemaker, toaster, fridge and sink with enough dishes for two. Room to walk around the king sized bed, and enough closet space to dump our three huge bags, and just enough room to set up Junior's playpen. Not all rooms have AC, but ours had a big […] fan, and we could sleep comfortably with the window wide open, since there's bars (horizontal though, not like the jail-style) across the open part of the window. Our room overlooked an open interior plaza, but there are also rooms whose hallways look out over the ocean (less than a block away w/ a nice beach next to the start of the boardwalk). Two pools, one by reception, and one on the top floor, were both cool (not cold) and inviting in the PV heat. Breakfast is included, but don't count on it, as the "Sam's Club" buns were stale (one even had a bunch of little ants in it), the papaya tasted funny, the orange juice was sunnyD, and the coffee was so weak it looked more like tea. No problem though, as less than four blocks away you'll find a great market with fresh fruit, veg, meat & bread, all at a reasonable price. No safe in the room, (they're in the lobby), and no internet in the room (again, in the lobby) but there's a great coffeeshop/bookstore w/ wifi next door that's open late. Overall, friendly and helpful staff. Good for a start, but did find better unadvertised properties in PV, after looking around a bit. Læs mere

We have stayed at Eloisa 2 years in a row for 3 weeks each in a studio and suite. The hotel is quaint and charming, very clean. Roof top pool has fabulous views and very private. The hotel is steps away from restraunts the beach and the malecon. For the price you can't go wrong. Hotel rated at 3 stars like most in the romantic zone.

I booked the Eloisa because I liked the location -- right on a public square in the picturesque "Zona Romantica" and literally steps away from Los Muertes beach. I paid the extra $10 a night for a studio, and it was well worthwhile, with a hot plate, coffee maker and toaster so I could save some money on meals and snacks. The room was clean and the […] maid service was excellent -- and always delivered with a smile. The cable TV included quite a few English stations, including CNN (from Hong Kong!). On the downside, the shower was a bit weak and the water took a long time to warm up, and there was no safe in the room. I stayed in the studio for nine days at a good price, using the Eloisa's "third night free" offer. (One wrinkle -- the free continental breakfast on the rooftop deck is not included for the third night.) The hotel then filled up and I had to take a regular room, which cost the same amount if I wanted a TV. This room was liveable but not nearly as nice, and a bit noisy . Overall, the Eloisa was a good choice, and I noticed many repeat customers coming back for their yearly vacations. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful, and they even installed new furniture in the lobby for WiFi users while I was there. I'd return to the Eloisa, but I'd insist on a studio room. Læs mere

Très belle hôtel près de la Malecon et de la plage. J'y allais pour 2 nuits donc j'ai apporté le minimum. Fait négatif: l'hôtel ne fourni pas de shampoing, le minimum de serviettes (celle pour la douche) et aucune pour la plage. Pensez à traîner tout ceci dans vos valises.

El baño no estaba muy sucio pero si sus paredes, y el segundo dia de estancia ( despues de limpieza de la habitacion) solo solo tendieron la cama y cambiaron las toallas pero no note diferencias ni en las paredes ni en la regadera. Preguntamos por un tour y en la recepcion un sr fue muy amable al atendernos, aunque no tuvimos muy buena informacion acerca […] de lo que obtuvimos en el tour, ya que la Fabrica de joyas, no era fabrica si no una joyeria nada mas, la fabrica de tequila no era fabrica si no una explicacion de como se hace el tequila. La ubicacion es excelente ya que esta a media esquina de el malecon y de la playa, muy cerca de los antros y de los mercados de artesanias.
