"It's Good"
I loved my stay, we don't travel much, so when we do we want it convenient. The only bad thing overall was the air unit. You set it on 70 it drops to 60, and when you turn it up, it turnes on the heat. The ice maker in our room didn't work, but that's no big deal. I would stay here again, or tell others to also. Very nice and very clean.

"Candlewood Suites - Hot Springs, AR"
This hotel was clean and well kept. The pool was a great way to spend the evening. However, on the night we stayed the hotel was sold out and the staff, though gracious, seemed overwhelmed. We were given keys to the wrong room, and had to request a roll away bed b/c the room assigned to us only had one bed for a party of 4.
"The hotel at Hot Springs"
The facility was convenient and clean, but the thermostat in the room did not provide us with a comfortable room temperature. We were told when we left that it was manipulated by the front desk and could have been changed. Didn't help us much at that point. Beds were comfortable, but room was hot. We did not sleep well. "One Queen Bed Studio Suite"
We checked into our room and once we got to our first floor room it was so hot! First thing we did was turn on the ac then had to go out for a couple hours. When we came back it was still just as hot. When we had left the room the ac shut off! Again we turned it on and had to leave again, again the ac shut off!!! When we finally came back for the night […] we turned it down in the lower 70's only to have the HEAT kick on in the middle of the night! The queen bed was NOT a queen bed. At best it was a full. When we came in after midnight there was no one at the front desk to complain to or to get the extra pillows we had requested. The best thing about the stay in this room was the bathroom. It was roomy and clean. We will not be staying here again during the summer. Having a room that the ac shuts off when you leave the room (we finally found the card in the room that tells you it does that) is not acceptable during an Arkansas summer when it's 80-90 and above every day. "A little far from downtown, but very good!!"
I had stayed the Arlington Hotel in Hot Springs before, but had very bad experience. This hotel was totally opposite of the Arlington. It is a little far from downtown, but you get spacious and clean room with good customer service to make up for it.

the bed was hard, and no BREAKFAST!!!! nice rooms if your saying for awhile. full size fridge, oven, m-wave, dishwasher. just not what i'm used to.

I was very pleased with the hotel accommodations and also the hotel staff. The hotel has a pool, barbeque grill, workout facility, business facility and many more amenities to offer. Maybe the only thing that I could complain about would be the air conditioning. The air that blowed out the vent was too strong.

"Very comfortable and clean"
Rooms were spacious and very nice. Beds were very comfortable. Nice get a way with nice accomodations.
"Candlewood- Nicer than I expected"
The room was nice, with all the necessary elements to stay for an extended period of time. Granite counter tops, huge bathroom, and a comfy mattress: it was great! We took the shuttle to the racetrack, but we walked back. There is a bar across the street with the live band. I think the location is great and the rooms are nice.

The check-in clerk was very funny and friendly. My room was very comfortable, and I loved the amenities (full refrigerator, stove, microwave). Bed pillows could have been nicer, but overall, I enjoyed my stay.

Exceptionally clean, with all the standard amenties, free parking with 24 hr security. A little pricey but all in all a reasonable value.

I was happy to find an open hotel a few days before a short-notice trip to the racetrack. This hotel was nice, comfortable, and very conveniently located near anything I would want to do while visiting Hot Springs.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The bed could have been a bit larger and definitely more comfortable. Nice addition was the kitchenette. The lack of towel service and restocking of coffee etc. was missed....
"Nice hotel"
Room was very clean. Check in was smooth and staff was helpful. Floor and chair in room was badly stained with ink? Overall was a positive experience, however. Hotel is one of the newer ones in Hot Springs and is convenient to the older downtown and newer shopping areas.

"Between downtown and the lakes!"
Cleanliness? Check. Great customer service? Check. Air-conditioning, cable, pool, wireless internet, laundromat, and fitness center? Check, check, and check! We especially enjoyed the kitchenette (stocked with basic amenities) and the bathroom that didn't feel cramped. Crisp, cool sheets and a comfortable mattress. The layout shows a talent for assembling […] all the good stuff in a small space; we never felt cramped! "Pillows"
Very nice hotel. Rooms are clean, the kitchen is well stocked and the staff was very helpful. Only critism would be the pillows were the worse. Definitely bring your own pillow if possible.

This hotel was clean, comfortable and close to everything. The staff was more than accommodating. The only negatives are the tub is not at all comfortable to lie in and the heat/air turns off when you leave the room. So if you love long baths this is not for you. The problem with the heat is that it cannot tell the difference between your being out […] of the room and your being asleep. Hot Springs is very hot in the summer and this means you wake up every couple of hours sweating and have to turn on the lights and move around so the air comes back on. Yes, indeed this was a very nice hotel for the money that I paid. The staff was very friendly and informative. I didn't have toilet tissue in my room and I called the front desk and it seemed like before I could hang the phone up, there was someone there with it at the door. "Highly recommended"
Candlewood Suites is a perfect choice hotel. We stayed for two days. It was very clean and organized. The only thing was that we couldn't get the TV to work. We told the front desk and they sent someone to fix it, but it still didn't work when we returned later that day. I'm sure that was just the TV in that room. Other than that, our stay was perfect. My family and I stayed at the Candlewood Suites for one night on September 5, 2009. We arrived earlier than expected, our room was not ready. Due to wanting to go to Magic Springs and not take our luggage with us being in plain view, they upgraded our room to a suite at no additional charge. We were able to check in immediately. The suite was absoutely […] BEAUTIFUL!!! Everything was Neat and Clean. I like the fact that the hotel has what is called a cupboard ( I think that was the name). You can purchase items and either charge it to your room or use the honesty system and place the money in the container. The prices was so reasonable. This is a Beautiful and Clean Hotel. Comfortable and Spacious suite. Was only there for a couple of days. Would have been nice for a longer stay because the Kitchen was very nice. All the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Only two small issues: There were some type of small bugs on the kitchen counter tops, maybe from the disposal. The staff seemed to have issues keeping up with […] the laundry and we did not get towels the second day until late evening. "OKAY EXPERIECE....BUT..."
MY HUSBAND AND I CHOSE CANDLEWOOD SUITES IN HOT SPRINGS, ARKANSAS BECAUSE OF A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE WE HAD IN PITTSBURG, PENNSYLVANIA THIS SPRING. WHEN ARRIVING IN HOT SPRINGS THE ROOM APPEARED JUST THE SAME EXCEPT THE BED DID NOT SEEM TO BE A QUEEN BED. WHEN I ASKED THE LADY AT THE FRONT DESK ABOUT IT SHE STATED THAT ALL OF THEIR BEDS WERE QUEEN BEDS. […] MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE SLEPT IN A QUEEN BED FOR OVER 10 YEARS NOW AND UNLESS WE GREW ON OUR WAY TO HOT SPRINGS, THAT WAS NOT A QUEEN BED. "Do not stay here"
do not stay at this hotel i made reservations a week ahead of time and when i arrived to check in they had given my room away and i was told by the manager there were no more rooms the front desk finally made it right there were never any towels we were always told there drying i will never stay there again
"Great place to stay if..."
This hotel weas a great place to stay except, the first time we stayed here we were by the elevator which is loud. The next time we requested not to be put near the elevator. I booked it online and requested it and then even called the hotel to make sure they could make sure they received that request and they confirmed that we would not be placed near […] the elevator. When we got there to check in not only was our room right next to the elevator but it shared a wall with the elevator shaft. All night long we had to listen to it going up and down and the buzzer buzzing when it got to the floor. The hotel is extreamly clean, it's new to the area and we would definatly stay there again, just to don't bother to request anything. The kitchen in the room is a great plus as well. Even if just for a weekend stay it was nice to have a fridge, coffee maker, ice maker, small stove and pots and pans and a microwave. Feels very apartment like instead of just a hotel. We were very satisfied with our recent stay at the hotel. However, upon arrival at 11 PM we were told that our room had been cancelled and we were a no show. I have never had this happen before. "Great room for the money."
The room was ok but when i checked in the room had not been cleaned. I was told by the front desk clerk that my room was ready and it was not. The custodial workers cleaned the room and the rest of my stay was ok. I would probably stay there again. The facility was very nice and convieint for the price.
