This is the second time I have stayed here, and the staff is alsways so friendly, breakfast is great, and it's in a quiet location. I will definately stay here anytime I am in the St. Louis area!

Cleanliness wasn't a top priority as the sofabed had a doggie toy under it that my 3-yr old daughter found. However, we left a neck pillow and called two days later. They still had it and had it ready on our return trip through the area. Overall, great service!

This was the closest hotel to our destination and it was easy to find and very nice! I would definitely stay here again. The only negative is there is no ATM on the property.

I appreciated the accommodations they made for a family with a young toddler. The crib was ready in our room as we requested. The morning breakfast was also very good with some hot food options. And there were always high chairs available in the dining area. The fridge and microwave in the room were also helpful. Close to interstate. Great Breakfast. No noise between rooms which was great, but there seemed to be a lot of noice from the hall, people talking, doors slamming......There was too much space under the doors.

This was an anniversary get-away weekend with golf and bicycling on the Katy Trail. This hotel is situated perfectly for those activities, as well as shopping at Boone's Crossing and plenty of great restaurants in the area. Located in a more private setting than most hotels in the area, everything at the hotel was great and the staff were courteous […] and helpful. The walls of the rooms are a bit thin at times and we could hear others in the hallway, but not to the point of distraction. The Hotel staff assured us we could relocate if noise become a problem. Hotel is fine, the front desk staff is very friendly, but our room was only cleaned the first day of our stay. It was not cleaned the other 4 days - except they did stop by and asked us if we needed anything at 4:23 pm on the 4th day. We had just returned after being gone since 6:00 am so all I wanted was a shower - not someone finally coming to change […] towels, make beds or clean the room after I had questioned the practice that morning before we left at the desk. What a disaster. Lots of kid teams on the weekend when we were there. Walls are very thin so need to run a fan. The temperature dropped outside while we were there and I (and our friend in another room) could not get the airconditioning to come on in our rooms one night. This lead to a very warm/stuffy room. Really nice place! NO high speed Internet! The download was .15 upload .18 ping 2,358! I stayed three nights and the Internet was bad I ran about six speed test and they was all very poor not high speed!

It was perfect! Took my daughters down for a weekend in St. Louis and this hotel was just perfect. My girls love to swim, the pool was open and not crowded. I am an advid runner and biker and much to my surprise there was a running/biking trail on the property. Staff was excellent and very helpful. Highly recommend.

I drove from Montana to North Carolina this past weekend. I broke it up into 3 trips. (My first Montana - South Dakota 14 hours, South Dakota – Missouri 16 Hours and Missouri – North Carolina 14 Hours) I have never stayed at this hotel before so I picked it out of convenes, rating and look. To say I was tired by the time I got to the Wingate was an […] understatement. From the outside the hotel was super clean and modern looking. It was built in a nice area so I felt comfortable leaving my loaded down truck in there parking lot. The staff was very nice and the room was SUPER clean. The bed was amazing; the bathroom was I really clean. When I checked out the same lady was at the front desk and she was still very nice even at the end of her shift. The continental breakfast was by far the best one I’ve had at any Hotel. You can make fresh Waffles. They had Bacon, Muffins, Cheese Omelets…. Just tons of stuff and it really tasted great! I called my father as soon as I left and told him to say there when he goes cross country next month! 5 STAR in my book! Hope to stay there again in the future. Læs mere

The hotel is new and clean. Beds are comfortable. The hotel is in a research park, but less than 10 minutes from a major strip mall with Target, Walmart, many restaurants and just about every major strip chain you find across the US. From a physical standpoint, very nice. However, the first night we heard kids running up and down the halls and noises […] all night. We also smelled cigar smoke. For the price we paid, you cannot expect a high class of clientele. We simply spent $30 for a fan to drown out the hotel noises and slept great the remaining 3 nights. If you are looking for a resort, look elsewhere. If you are looking for a comfortable place to rest and a good breakfast, bring a fan and stay here. Læs mere

This was the worst hotel experience ever! My bed was infested with bed bugs. Luckily I noticed before climbing into bed. The Hotel did switch rooms but made no effort of compensating me for the incontinence!

My room was on the 3rd floor and was spacious, very comfortable and clean. But there is one thing that I did not expect, thin walls. I could hear the conversation of the people from the room next to me and they weren't even yelling. It was not a mumbling sound, I was able to understand what their conversation was about. The hotel was very nice. I can’t say enough good things about the staff. Everyone we encountered; the desk clerks, housekeepers and the maintenance people were all very friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. Although, it seemed because the air conditioner was connected to the outside air, that it would take that into consideration about […] how cool the room was. So because the window opens a little, we opened it and had no other “issues” with the temperature of the room. I was a little disappointed that the bathtub did not have a tub stopper to take a bath, but with it being a handicapped room maybe they didn’t have the need for one? The bed was very comfortable, but the pillows needed to be softer, for us at least. Being in the research park, the hotel is very quit during the week. The weekends are a different story though. Like people who tell their children to run in the hallways (yes, I heard a woman tell her child to run). I have children and know that after long car rides they need an outlet, but I would NEVER have them run in a hotel hallway. Or people who decide that at 3:30am that they need ice from the maker in the hall. The hotel is away from the town, so don’t expect to run to the corner convenience store. It does have a nice sundries shop for small items though. Some of these things were just personal opinions we have, but all in all, this was a very nice hotel and I would stay in it again if the need to be in the area ever arises again. Læs mere

Room: Clean, fresh, plenty of room, nice colors. Bed was comfortable but the pillows were like hard marshmallows (tall height, short length). I asked for a smaller softer pillow and none were available. Accessing internet was easy. Has a single serve coffee maker, microwave and small refrigerator. Clock was easy to set. This was a great hotel to end our getaway with - the room was huge (in fact it was 2 rooms!) We got the king jacuzzi sweet, and it was well worth it! The jacuzzi was up to date and worked wonderfully, as did everything else in the room. It was very clean and nicely decorated. The free breakfast options were pretty standard, but everything tasted good […] (unlike at our previous hotel.) If you're looking for a really nice hotel to relax in with your spouse/significant other this is great. If you're looking for somewhere to stay thats close to STL just know that while this hotel is only 20 or so miles away, rush-hour traffic can make it take up to an hour to get into the city. the indoor pool wasn't much larger than the hot tub and it was freezing. a big disappointment. there was rust or something that came out of the tub faucet but didn't come out of the shower thank goodness. the room was fine and cozy so if that's all you need it's fine.

very nice quiet place newish, modern location is totally isolated though - close to airport but you never hear planes 4-5 miles to ANYTHING i mean gas station, 7-11, anything also hotel has no restaurant so either drive or order in or camp out staff is helpful, courteous, professional ac/heaters are weird in winter you can only set temp to 60 or […] higher set at 60, the room will be 70 it is because the sensor is on the heater it is always by the cold window and keeps THAT space at 60 the room however is much warmer, 70 in summer they probably don;t keep it very cool for the same reason walls are very thin floors also you hear people talking in next room, walking above if they snore or watch loud tv, you won;t sleep without earplugs all hotel water was out for a couple hours one day, they put a notice under the door hot water got depleted or turned off 3 times in 10 days i just know it wasn;t hot i didnt; test it exhaustively they seem to have water issues though it seems like a new building changed ownership at some point former owners cut corners new guys trying to fix we stayed about 10 days business center is small but nice wifi is not secured has an awkward 'welcome screen' that messes your browsing up sometimes it;s not all that fast but it works the welcome screen [or something] will prevent you from bringing your roku or netflix box, or anything that has streaming movies - it can;t click OK on the welcome screen you may be able to make it work if your streaming box has a browser roku doesn;t there may be something else that explicitly stops streaming, or rokus, too all i know is, streaming videos - doesn;t work also the TVs are too new to have plain old composite video [red yellow white] inputs they take HDMI and maybe S video a cheapish DVD player won;t work, is my point, it won;t have the right outputs the TV channels are kind of hard to interpret there is no online channel guide picture is grainy and blocky, highly compressed probably wingate Læs mere

Had a little trouble with consistent hot water, but the staff was top notch at every turn. Friendly, helpful and knowledgable about the area. Great breakfast buffet, even though Hotels.com shows "No Breakfast"

This a good hotel, however it is a little out of the way. You will have to drive about 4 miles to get to restaurants and shopping. I would like king size pillows.

We stayed two consecutive nights at the hotel. My family 2 adults 2 children ages 3/4, was treated as though each staff member appreciated us being there. Perhaps the most valuable staff member was a lady named Carla. Talking to her a few minutes felt like talking to an old friend. She as the entire staff was amazing. Hotel was clean and modern. I stayed at this hotel based on other reviews I had read. I checked in on a Wednesday and did not request house keeping until Saturday. Not only was the burnt out light bulb I had left on the desk with a note not replaced (the other lamps in the room had different bulbs, so I couldn't switch them out) but house keeping did not leave me replacement coffee […] cups (I had used one each day so they were gone) and they also gave me less towels and no bath mat. I passed by 3 employees in the hallway and front desk at different times who did not even acknowledge my existence after I said, "Hello" or "Good Morning." I tried to get my light bulb (which was for the desk lamp - I needed it while working on my computer) replaced twice - on Saturday morning and Saturday night. I was assured it would be replaced on Sunday, but I checked out Monday with no bulb in the lamp. How sad that this hotel cannot even provide a simple light bulb. How sad that customer service is so poor 3 employees could not even acknowledge me after I greeted them. One employee, John, was terrific. He checked me in on Wednesday evening, was friendly and informative, but I didn't see him again during my stay. Very, very disappointed I spent money on this hotel. This was our first time at this hotel. It was very clean. The whole property is nonsmoking. This was very important to us due to health issues. In fact, the first night there our room suddenly began to smell like cigarette smoke. We notified the front desk and immediately a staff member came to investigate. It was impressive that they addressed our […] concerns so quickly. The breakfast area was large, kept clean and each morning we had a very good variety of breakfast options. The selection included eggs, waffles, breakfast meat, breads, pastries, hot and cold cereal, etc. The kids loved it. The staff never failed to greet us upon leaving and returning. Everyone was super friendly especially with our kids. Our room was large enough to have a desk and chair, plus a bench, chair and otttoman. Also we had a fridge and microwave. The beds were comfortable and the furnishings seemed new. The carpet was clean. Each day our room was cleaned very nicely. The pool wasn't working while we were there but everything else about our stay was so great that the pool not working didn't detract at all from our stay. It is located in a business park so it isn't surrounded by restaurants but there is plenty within a few minutes drive. We will definitely stay again! Læs mere

We were attracted to this motel because of a very competitive cost. The info on the Hotels.com site was misleading: it said that breakfast was not included on any of the sites we considered. In fact, the Wingate provided a very nice breakfast each morning. The toilet in the room was supposedly a dual-flush Toto, but apparently the management had removed […] the dual-flush mechanism (we have such Totos in our home, so I know what I am talking about). This was a disappointment. Our room did not have a guest services binder and we had to ask for one. Overall, we were pleased, but there were some negatives. Læs mere
