Asked the front desk for an ice bucket. She replied, isn't there one in your room? I said no, but never got the bucket (used a plastic bag and the sink instead).

This was the best hotel and the staff was so nice and helpful wish there were more of these across the US.

Spent 2 individuell nights at the hotel with a family of 4. Room is spacious and quiet. Breakfast area is nice, but can be very cramped if there is a large group like it was when we were there for the 2nd Night. Good Value for money and Only minutes from Dulles Airport, the Air and Space Museum, some Shops and restaurants. If you have a rental car without […] GPS like we had it might take you a couple of trials to find it. I can Not recall how often we Took the wrong exit or direction. Great room. Clean, spacious, comfortable. Breakfast was good when you could get it, they seemed to start running out of stuff kinda early. Getting to and from the hotel was a bit of a pain with the building going on and the winding roadways to get to the main roads. The area is going to be a nice business/residential area when they are through, but […] for now it is a work in progress. The biggest complaint I have is that the pool did not open til 5pm during the week and was closed on Wednesday. When I asked why it opened so late, I was told that the hours were suited for business travelers and that they have to have a lifeguard on duty when it is open. So they limit the hours it is open. I picked this hotel partly due to it's free shuttle to/from Dulles. We arrived after shuttle service stopped at 11:30 pm. No problem. The front desk told us to take a cab and immediately reimbursed us in cash. Be warned the hotels in this immediate area are "1/2 mile" from Dulles only as the crow flies; it was a $15 cab ride.

My husband was in va on a business trip recently and we both stayed at this place, grt place... front desk was very helpfull... Keya

For an airport stay. comfortable rooms, 10 minutes to the car rental booth, not much for food selection or bar. Zefferelis in nearby Herndon is an excellent restaurant to enjoy before checking into the hotel for an early morning flight.

This hotel location is very difficult to find . First we went round and round to find this hotel. once you find it, the hotel is comfortable, cozy place. Room was in good condition. Food was not!! They charge for the omlettes what other hyatt houses give free of cost during breakfast. but they waived it for me as they messed up my egg whites :). Very clean hotel and room. Knowledgeable, friendly staff. Spacious room. Comfortable bed. We're low maintenance travelers, interested in a good night's sleep at a decent price rather than amenities like gym, restaurant, etc. If that's what you're looking for, this is the place! HUGE room, with separate sitting area, huge flatscreen. mini-frig. Arrived late but could still find a decent selection of food for late dinner in the lobby, great to be able to eat at 1 am when necessary. Evening front desk clerk was extremely helpful with everything. All the comforts for short term stay, an excellent choice, would stay again.

I regularly go to Dulles to pick my grandson up from an early-morning flight. This Hyatt place is now my go-to hotel, since I have to drive 120 miles each way. Another plus of staying at a Hyatt place is, it accommodates 5-6 people with no problem. There is a narrow dividing wall between the sleeping area and a very long sleeper couch. The lady working at the desk was super friendly. She served us food from the kitchen even though we were late for breakfast. On the contrary, the supervisor named Angela was super rude. She made us feel very uncomfortable while she spoke out loud beside us to the other girl to not serve free juice to guests who are late. We were very annoyed and hope […] that some sort of corrective action is taken for her behavior. Note that we never asked for free juice. It was offered to us. Hotel was beautiful and rooms nicely appointed. Good value. I stayed Friday night. Provided breakfast in the morning was basic continental for sure. Was actually hoping for something a bit nicer. Coffee was outstanding however and a copy of WSJ was complimentary. Overall very nice.

Great place to stay, large and clean rooms

The staff was very accomodating, one driver even offered to come to work 45 min early to take me to the airport earlier than the normal shuttle offered. OUTSTANDING! THe rooms are very spacious and very clean, orderly and comfortable

We flew out of the country for 12 days and parked for free. Arriving back, I knew the shuttle home would be close with our 11:30pm arrival and the shuttle finishing at midnight. We couldn't get cell reception until we got out of the baggage claim ... at 11:55pm. The shuttle driver was already on his way for the last pickup. Made my day!

We only stayed at this hotel one night so that we could be close to Dulles but if needed I would've happily stayed longer. There was no air traffic noise that I noticed in the room. The staff that checked me in asked where in the hotel I preferred to be, versus just assigning me a room. The dine in options were reasonably priced yet nutritious enough […] for a late evening meal and nice enough to satisfy a "foodie" tweenager. The hotel itself was great. The only issues my family had was the fact that we called the hotel before we got there to ensure that the pool was opened and a staff assured us it was. When we got there it was closed! The manager was very accomodating and asked if we wanted to go to the hotel next door's pool but with the bellow freezing weather I decided […] not to take my little girl. In addition, we called the front desk and were informed that the airport shuttle left at anytime in the morning, we just needed to give them 5 minute notice. I called again at 6am to ask for a shuttle and was informed it had just left and the next one was at 6:30! I didnt miss my flight, but wow! They need staff meetings so everyone is on the same page. This was a truly exceptional hotel. The facilities were very new, the room was very clean, and the television and internet were great.

Is a little hard to find. Call get the alt. address (call hotel phone) if using a GPS, signage will take you rest of way. I made reservations New Years Eve and had a little issue with web page (red letters informing me to call reservation not confirmed), but confirmation came through about 2 minutes later while I was trying to call Hotel.com via phone […] and working through the answering questions. Room was good, liked bathroom, and TV was fine. Issue was the continental breakfast, it was crowded, poorly laid out design, coffe was around corner out of sight, not quite enough seating, especially when families of 5 show up. I and my Wife both bought scrambled eggs and bacon, both were a 3 at best on a 1 to 10 scale. I still would recommend this hotel due to quality of room and price, but suggest sticking to ONLY the continental breakfast, the pay for prepared food was really poor. I am sure it was that pre-cooked bacon (paper thin you could actually see through it) and the eggs were out of a milk container (scrambled) and they were slightly burnt. I made do with the old american stand by..... I used ketchup. For $6.50 for each meal, I expect much better tthan "fast food" quality. Læs mere

This is a new hotel so it may not show up on your GPS. But it's a great place to stay. We were very impressed with the quality and comfort of the room as well as the friendliness of the staff. They have a great continental breakfast and great snacks in the lobby. The price was affordable and I definitely felt like we got a great value! Hard to believe […] these days... Only warning I can give is regarding those DC Cab Drivers... The hotel has shuttle service, but our flight was delayed so by the time we got our bags it was after midnight, and the shuttle had stopped running. When I booked the room, I asked for a smoking room. When I got to the hotel, mentioned a smoking room again. Was given what I thought was a smoking room. Then I was charged a $200 smoking fee. I was told after the fact that the hotel was smoke free.

comfortable, affordable room for the night with shuttle service to dulles very happy

My husband & I stay at a lot of 2 star / 2 1/2 star hotels. There was a good deal on this 3 star hotel, and it was such a treat. The gentleman who registered us at the hotel delivered top notch service, the room was sparkling clean, and I was at the airport by 5:10am for my 6am flight. We stopped here overnight prior to catching an early am Dulles flight. We thought we were reserving at the Hyatt, not the Hyatt place. This hotel is more modest. However free parking, Internet, and breakfast for a modest price is a value I can't complain about. The rooms are comfortably laid out, with big-screen tv and sectional sofa you can sprawl […] out on. Booked hotel for amenities that were not available, ie indoor pool. Management not very accommodating. Nothing within walking distance around hotel. However, facility very clean. Room comfortable. Although I was placed in Handicapped accessible room and am not handicapped. Not very happy with visit
