Dejligt hotel med vældigt godt værelse. Eneste forslag til ændring: Hellere morgenmadsbuffet end at skulle bestille morgenmad efter menukort.

Et rigtigt godt hotel med et fint værelse- dog kunne udsigten godt have været lidt bedre. Men god seng, toiletforhold etc. Desuden et lækkert område i kælderen med pool, dampbad og sauna samt fitnessrum. Vi vågnede dog flere nætter ved en bankelyd, som lød til at komme fra vandrørene. Ikke så generende, at vi gav personalet besked før ved afrejse. Dette […] tog de meget alvorligt og undskyldt for ulejligheden. Generelt rart og venligt personale som resten af lokalebefolkningen, iøvrigt. Meget central beliggenhed. Har kun godt at sige om hotellet, som vi dog ikke opholdt os så meget på. Læs mere

The initial impression was great. The hotel is very stylish and the room was large and looked new. The hotel service wasn't up to the same standard though. Of the three nights we stayed the only time housekeeping arrived before 4pm was on the day we were checking out. We left the room around 9am in the morning and returned at 3pm to find that housekeeping […] still hadn't been there. The staff at the restaurent managed to forget our orders and we had to wait until another table had given their orders because they only had two menus! Læs mere

Hotellet er tæt på centrum, og værelserne er nye. Personalet var meget venlig og hjælpsom. Hotellet ligger tæt på Waverly station med gode forbindelser til lufthavnen.

Hotellet er beliggende i forlængelsen af Princessstreet, men i meget rolige omgivelser. Meget venligt og service minded personale. God morgenmads restaurant.

Ligger rigtigt godt, kun 5 minutters gang fra busstoppestedet fra air-link til og fra lufthavnen..Og 2 minutter fra det store indkøbscenter i byen, kanon til shopping God morgenmad, især den komplette skotske morgenmad med æg og pølser osv.. Meget venligt personale og rent og generelt iorden hotel. Vores værelse lugtede lidt indelukket, men vinduerne […] kunne ikke åbnes. Vi klagede dog ikke over, så hotellet havde ikke nogen mulighed for at reagere på det! Men vi vil absolut gerne bo der igen! :D Læs mere

Central located near bus from airport an in mid center of town. great interior and rooms with modern design. Highly recommended. Will surely stay there again!

Dejligt hotel - der var rent og skønt alle steder. Vidunderlig wellness afdeling med swimmingpool, sauna og dampbad, som er inkluderet i prisen. Meget venligt og hjælpsomt personale. Klart et hotel, som kan anbefales.

modern hotel with decent sized rooms

Good value for money; excellent location; consistent standard

My daughter and I were extremely pleased with our hotel, it was very well located and the facilities were very satisfactory, we will visit again.

Overall the stay was okay. Cleanliness varied day to day based on who cleaned the room (sometimes vacuumed, sometimes not, never washed my robe even though it was on the floor). Room service was fast and not too bad. Free wi-fi so that was a plus. Also nice bar downstairs.

I stayed with colleagues for a business event in a nearby restaurant in the City center. This hotel is perfectly placed both for this type of event, but would also be the ideal location for a sight-seeing / shopping visit. The hotel is impressive, externally, & this continues inside. A nice mix of modern & traditional greets you in the reception & […] bar area. The check in was quick & easy. The room, mine was on the 3rd floor, was a good size & very well presented. The inclusion of an iron & board is always a nice feature, but one often missing in UK hotels. There was a large, comfortable bed & an extremely big LCD TV. The bathroom was spacious, with both a bath & very large shower cubicle. The shower was very powerful & plenty of hot water. The levels of cleanliness & decor were high. In the evening, the reception & bar staff were helpful in allow a group of us a 'late drink'. Finally, I left a laptop charge lead in the room &, after speaking with the reception when I returned to Suffolk, they have agreed to post this back to me. My partner and i stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and were very happy here, great location,very clean and a very high standard, we even had an evening meal on the last night and were very happy with the price and the staff at the hotel was top notch, thanks very much for our stay and will recommend to others, cheers adam&liz

This hotel is in a great location and we found the staff all very helpful and efficient. Our second stay in an Apex hotel and we have always been happy with the beds, rooms and service.

Nice location, right next to the train station and a very modern hotel. Great views from the rooms. Awesome experience. Definitely recommend to everyone

we recently stayed at this hotel for our anniversary weekend and found the whole experience excellent. Lovely staff. Great rooms and location. Great breakfasts and relaxing bar with drinks not too expensive. Would love to stay there again

The hotel is situated in a very convenient part of town. It's very close to the railway station and all the attractions of Edinburgh are within walking distance. The hotel pool albeit is a little bit small but very nice and clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Overall the hotel was very nice, clean and modern. Excellent hotel

Hotel is very well located, just a short walk from the Royal Mile. Interior is very well appointed and bar service is first class. Would definitely recommend for tourist stay. Only minor criticism is that breakfast at £15 per person is rather expensive, local restaurants do an equally good breakfast at £10 for 2 people. Newly refurbished this hotel is close to the station and within easy walking of all major Edinburgh sights. Good little gym and pool and an excellent bar. Room big well appointed but with a lot of noise from a nearbye boiler!

Great hotel staff - friendly, attentive, well trained, at every position. Linda, the concierge, was especially helpful. Everyone contributed to an exceptional experience.

This hotel is in an excellent location. There is easy access from the main railway station, and it is an easy walk to the main shopping centre. The hotel itself is very well run, and the staff that attended to me were really first class. The bedroom was spacious and the facilities excellent and all that you would expect in a 4-star hotel.

Centrally located by main shopping street, but little street noise. Room was ok, but our mattresses could've been more comfortable. The pool area was very nice and clean, and the hotel service was good. Apparently some of the double rooms got only shower cabinets and no bathtubs, so be sure to ask about a bathtub if you want one.

Really nice quality hotel very very central. Great service and top quality service. Very nice swimming pool and sauna etc. Nice rooms nicely decorated. Would definitely stay again and would suggest to others.

An excellent hotel, great service, nice rooms (especially the superior king room), although the nice views are a little lacking. Slightly costly rooms, but worth it.

Lovely hotel, central to all the sights in Edinburgh. Central station within easy walking distance. The staff were very friendly and helpful. No complaints at all. Hotel very close to Waverley Station - you can easily walk there. Just booked a standard room but it had a sofa and a huge bed (we have a kingsize at home but this was much bigger) and the bathroom was nice with big deep bath and separate large walk in shower. Lots of hair in the plug hole though which put me off a bit but OH despatched to get rid of […] that and then all OK. Didn't have breakfast included so had continental breakfast in hotel one day, used the cafe on the corner another day and went along the Royal Mile the other days. All fine - you don't need to have breakfast in the hotel - I think it was about £15 - as there are lots of other places to go - but if you want a full cooked breakfast a waitress took your order and served it to you so it wasn't all on view on a hotplate which puts some people off - and it looked good. OH had a massage in Spa and tried the steam room and sauna and said it was good (He got 20% off massage on Wed and Thurs) but weather was bright and dry so we went out and about every day and were too tired to use the pool when we got back. Exactly what you would want to experience in a 4* hotel. Helpful, friendly staff, good food, high quality surroundings. As a picky person I was impressed. Only things I could fault were a cold puddle of water at the bottom of the pool steps and when taking the stairs, a radical contrast in decor to the main hotel - basic!!

fantastic hotel. we've stayed at this hotel in 2009. that was a higher rate. this time it was lower so we got smaller bathroom. the heating was not working so they've put additional heating into the room when asked. still very good though. so 5 stars. never used SPA or pools as we stayed 2 days. so no comment on that.

this hotel was good. my only complaint was the breakfast and the service given at breakfast. we had paid a lot extra for breakfast and it was not worth the money at all.

This is one of the best hotels I stayed in. Our room was great. The service was great from early start when we showed up by front desk. Fitness facilities were good as well as business center. Complimentary WiFi had great speeds and availability. But most importantly, hotel located within 4-5 minutes of all main shopping, sightseeing areas, and Christmas […] festival area. And at the same time, it is nice and quiet with no crowds next to the hotel. Absolutely loved it!!! If I am ever to go back to Edinburgh (which I am planning to do), there is only one hotel I will be looking at and it will be this Apex Waterloo. Læs mere

Very smart and well equipt hotel. Complimentary Wi-Fi was very good to find places to visit from our room and to look through restraunt menus before going out. Only con I can think of is the swimming pool water was a bit on the cold side. That could just be me though. All in though I will definetly consider this hotel on my next trip to Edinburgh […] . Comfy, clean, modern, excellent location, no complaints.

Hotel was very clean and close to the station. Breakfast was lovely. Comfortable hotel and well worth the price!

Great hotel in an amazing central location within easy walking distance of all the sights and shops. Really comfortable room with fantastic bathroom. Cot was provided for our three month old which was very clean and in good condition. The spa and pool were a good size, not too busy and nicely decorated. Lifts were quick and easy to use. Only real issues […] were: (a) the cost of breakfast - £15 pp, which didn't really suit our budget but friends who did have breakfast told us it was good quality and plentiful; and (b) the parking at the recommended nearby ncp is astronomical at over £20 a day. We managed to make use of free road parking on the Sunday, but beware traffic wardens waiting at 8.30 on Monday morning! Needed the car to transport all of baby's stuff but in future would consider alternative means of travel. Overall a very pleasant stay at this hotel and will definitely stay again! Læs mere

We have just returned from a 2 night stay in the Apex Waterloo, where we went for our anniversary. The hotel was clean and tidy and the room and bathroom very excellent. The hotel is in a great location at the end of Princes Street and near to Waverley Station. The only complaint I have, is that we booked a Superior Double room but when we arrived at […] the room we had been given there were 2 single beds pushed together and the room was certainly not one of their superior ones. After returning to reception this was rectified but I don't know why this happened in the first place. Apart from this incident I would recommend this hotel. Læs mere

The staff was outstanding and the location was great. The only negative was that our room was small, but beds were extremely comfortable. Go to Edinburgh - it is a wonderful city - my favorite overseas so far - full of life!!! You will fall in love it!!
