"Driftwood Lodge"
We recently stayed at the Driftwood and enjoyed our stay. We were a bit disappointed that there was no restaurant open on site, but there were other restaurants withing close driving distance. Our room was very nice - clean and quite roomy. We had a canyon view which was lovely.

I would stay at this hotel again. Loved the service, and the room was spotless, roomy and comfortable. Close enough to things we could walk to and perfect to enter Zions!

"Awesome spot- friendly staff & extremely comfortab"
Anyone traveling to Zion should stay here. The room was completely comfortable and the staff couldn't have been nicer. There's a park shuttle stop right in front. It's about 1/2 mile from town but is easily walkable. Can't recommend enough!
"Great room with beautiful view"
We loved staying at the driftwood! My only complaint is that the heater was really loud, so on our second night we turned it up to 85 degrees while we were at dinner so that we could turn the heater off while we slept without getting cold at night.

"good location, overpriced"
This was a great location, but it was overpriced for the condition. No view, per se, beds ok, not great. sure there were better priced options in the immediate vicinity. No restaurant open on site, probably as it was off-season. I'd look further on next visit.

Close to the park, shuttle bus stop in front of hotel, nice relaxing at pool & jacuzzi (outside) after a long and active day. Easy parking.

Very clean and friendly. The town is fantastic - great restaurants and galleries very nearby.

We traveled to 5 National Parks during our trip to Utah. This was the nicest place we stayed. The room was spacious and clean. The small private patio outside the room was wonderful. "Great Food, Rooms, Location"
This hotel was perfect. I was on a cross country roadtrip and decided to stop by Zion. When I pulled into the hotel, it was even cuter and nicer than the pictures on the internet. The staff was very friendly and even recommended hikes for me to take in the park. The room was large, clean, and well designed. The room was HUGE! It was updated, clean and quiet. Even had a deck off the back with a table and chairs. Nice place! Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Had trouble connecting to the wi-fi indoors.

We stayed at the Driftwood Lodge for two nights in May 2011. The accommodations were spacious, clean and comfortable, and our room was situated in a way that allowed us to view the mountains from our patio. The beds were comfortable, amenities were perfect (mini-fridge, microwave, coffee pot, dresser, ample storage) and the quality of the room was more […] than I expected in such a small community. We were able to venture into the park frequently (free shuttle stop in front of the hotel) and had an excellent dinner at the hotel restaurant, Parallel 818. Small and intimate facility, every one was helpful, the tram system was good and made our visit just perfect.

We have just spent 3 weeks in the USA - west coast / Vegas etc. This was the only hotel, where we feel it was very over rated from the description on the website We stayed at Pacific Grove for 2 nights and was expecting a lovely rural hotel. This was far from our expectations. The room itself was fine and furniture okay - except for an old sink (kitchenette […] type). The bathroom was very old requires updating and totally let the stay down. Nice improvement to lodge. Enjoyed the stay & of course, in my 'heaven on earth' location. Food was outstanding. Everyone genuinely outstanding. Including meeting my waitress on the hike to Emerald Pools.

Just a hotel room. It was comfortable and clean but nothing fancy and overpriced. Staff was friendly. I did not try the food in the small restaurant they had. Hotel is comparable to others in the area but theres nothing to do at this hotel or connected to it. Parking lot was all dug up and a complete mudpit to walk thru. High price to be close to Zion […] Park. Room views look better online then in person. There are a number of other hotels in the area for the same price that were nicer, a better location, or offered more to do. You can stay just a few miles outside of Zion for a much cheaper room. Bus stop to town/zion is convienient and does stop at the hotel. I will come back to Zion, but probably try a different hotel next time. Læs mere

Lots of small problems on our stay. Staff did a good job of trying to rectify them but for the price of the room, i was quite dissatisfied . I would choose another hotel next time!

"Convenient to Zion NP"
We wanted a king size bed, but ended up with two queens due to remodeling. The room was clean and despite having two beds, we had plenty of room. It appears that there is still some remodeling to take place in the room with shelving over the fridge area. Our only complaint was how loud the AC fan was even at it's lowest setting. Booked with high expectations, but disappointed. The driveway was under repair and with rain became a muddy red quagmire. No attempt to fix the situation even though all guests on one side were forced to walk through the mud. The heater fan was so noisey we could not sleep. "Liked this hotel"
This was a good hotel for our two nights stay. The room was comfortable, and had great scenic beauty. There is no restaurant in the hotel serving breakfast and had to go out to other place, but do not consider that a problem, Oscar's, just half a mile away is a great place for breakfast, would recommend that. The only restaurant in the hotel, 'parallel […] 88' is an expensive one and not worth the money for the quality and quantity of food. The ladies in the front desk were very nice and helpfull. Great hotel, great spot. Stayed in the canyon view room, upstairs, with balcony. Great place to relax after a day of hiking with a couple of cold beers. Hotel restaurant is fantastic.

Very nice quaint hotel just minutes from entrance of ZNP. Would stay there again.

They are renovating the hotel so we were upgraded for free. Very nice service. Big spacious room. Comfortable bed and linens. Bathroom is a bit small, dark and dated. Very close to Zion entrance.
"Our favorite hotel in springdale"
We stay at the Driftwood Lodge every time we stay in Springdale, and we always enjoy our experience. The rooms are large, comfortable, and have beautiful views. More importantly, the owner has made a variety of improvements to *green* the hotel, and the efforts to lessen visitors' impact on the desert environment are greatly appreciated.

This was my second visit to Springdale, UT, gateway to Zion National Park. The first trip was memorable for all the wrong reasons. The latest trip was far different. The Driftwood is clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. Though the pool was closed for the season, the hot tub was operating, clean and at the proper temperature.
