The staff could have been more on the ball.We never had enough towels without having to ask for more.The breakfast if that is what you call it was not much so we went out to eat.All that was there was some muffins and somthing I didn' know what is was,but you had to take to your room to eat it.All in all for the money and you only need a place to sleep […] it would be OK... A little bit rundown hotel but you get what you pay for. I really like the neighbourhood.

Went for a night out with the guys. Good location close to good food and bars. Room was clean and comfortable. Reasonably priced. Worked great for night.

Clean enough for the price. Sufficient enough and has a very very friendly helpful staff. If you need a decent room for rest purposes it is perfect. Basic but does have fridge, microwave, and free coffee and danishes!

It was perfect for us.

This motel was convenient to downtown Columbus with a reasonable price. Large clean rooms with few frills. Many fast food places close by.

Only a mile or so from Downtown, but seeing as the Downtown area shuts down early there is much more around the Motel itself to see and do. Comfortable bed, lots of parking, easy to find, I had a MicroFridge in my room too. Unfortunately the floor was a bit dirty, the heater was either on or off and hot or cold and there was no place to hang a towel […] in the bathroom. Other than that, for what you pay, it's a surprisingly comfortable spot. The lobby gives the appearance that you're in a dangerous area (desk behind glass, cash pass-through, etc) but it's really not a scary area at all. This hotel was pretty sketchy. I'm not familiar with Columbus or the surrounding area, but I didn't feel very comfortable. The office had protective glass that put me on edge from the minute I got there. The room was clean enough, and the bed was comfortable enough. The water was hot and water pressure was good. This inn was clean and located close to where I needed. It somewhat run-down and a bit shabby (The sheets were very thin and had burn holes in them), but it appeared to be very clean. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. However, don't count on the "breakfast" served. The coffee was OK, but the rolls were just prepackaged and quite nasty-tasting. […] I couldn't eat mine. I don't see what the complaint about this hotel is. It was in a convenient location, was clean and comfortable and near Schiller Park as well as The Book Loft. My only complaint is about the water pressure in the shower, but that can be overlooked because of everything else. The complimentary breakfast was cheese danishes and fruit. I would definitely […] stay here again! The price can't be beat for the location. If you want perfection stay somewhere else. Læs mere

I was literally only in the room to change and sleep, but it smelled nice. I like how the parking is in an interior courtyard. The room appeared clean, except behind the dresser....eek...all kind of trash back there. It had a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker, and the attendant gave me a bottom floor room when I asked. They dont give you much info […] when you check in, like checkout time...or the phone number to the desk. Free WIFI! I was looking for a cheap clean place to crash, and I'm thrilled at the value for my money. I'd stay there again any time. Læs mere

My mom and I recently stayed at the German Village Inn and were not at all satisfied. While the room was big enough, the fact that it was filthy completely ruined our experience. My feet were as black as can be after walking around. We were not able to control the shower, which in turn hurt like crazy when showering. I would not recommend this hotel […] to anyone. Læs mere

The place is calm and quiet. Room is clean to standard expected per amount paid. Though someone struck my car, the hotel attendant was very vigilant to stop them and call my attention to the incident. On the whole, it was a good experience.

Was in town for 8 nights - this hotel served my needs well. The price was right, the location was terrific and the room was clean and sufficient. Would recommend to a friend.

We were looking for cheap but not a dump, this fit the bill. It's clean enough and things all worked and is near the convention center for a short drive.

This is a very cheap hotel so if that is what you need then there you go but if you are looking for something nice go else where

The hotel is located in a very convenient area of downtown. The rooms were clean and sufficient enough. The staff was helpful. It was a great price.

Very good location- 2 miles from Nationwide Arena & on busy bus route. Great restaurant/bar right next door with some great regulars! Room was pretty clean with coffee maker 2 sinks, fridge, cable tv comfortable beds, but lacked (maybe just an oversight by cleaning staff) in simple needs like TP, soap, & shampoo!! sorry but 1 tissue in dispenser-Really? […] 1/4 roll of TP?? In double occupancy?overall for the price - not too bad for an overnight stay. Læs mere

I knew this would happen, but I'm the kind who stretches every dollar so I thought I'd take a chance on this place. Please learn from my mistake and don't do it without at least reading the rest of this. In a previous review someone had written that there was no continental breakfast offered. I called hotels.com before making a reservation, who contacted […] the hotel and was told they DO offer it. (The profile says daily.) When I arrived a few things surprised me. One, the sweet but quite elderly woman in the tiny lobby said straight out that they only have it on weekends. She also seemed to have no say and have no way to remedy the situation. She was also watching TV behind her counter as the bar/club in the basement thumped away. Yes, I'm serious. She even confirmed it. There is a bar in the basement below the hotel 'lobby'. Granted, my room was above the hotel lobby and actually was removed enough to not hear the pounding music. But the constant flow of traffic late at night had me staring out my window to 'protect' my car for almost an hour. It wasn't the best of neighborhoods, and I was constantly concerned that someone would either hit my car or break into it, even though it was in the hotel parking lot. If you do decide to stay here, I would at least park in a spot adjacent to the buildings. I parked in the center area of the lot, and those vehicles moved a lot leaving mine vulnerable. Finally the room left a lot to be desired. It did have a working min fridge, but looked worn enough for me to leave my shoes on as much as possible, and to check the mattress for dreaded signs of bedbugs (there were none visible). In the morning I decided to stop by the 'lobby' again to see if maybe there was even a banana I could beg of the manager / owner. But it was locked! I waited from about 7:55am - 8:15am, and no one showed up. I've already discussed most of this with hotels.com and the manager / owner claims these were isolated incidents; I wouldn't plan on it. the room had 2 lightbulbs in the whole place. one in bath and one by window. very dark the receptionist did not speak one word to me not ONE breakfast was donuts coffee and juice and the donuts had bites taken out of them it was 830am and they felt to have been out in air since nite before very hard four people registered had only two towels in room […] very unhappy very Læs mere

Clean hotel in a nice German neighborhood. Close to alot of attractions.

The room was just as good as the one we stayed in at a much more expensive hotel a few nights before. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, and actually had more amenities. We woud definitely stay here again.

The bed pillow and bedding were the worst i have slept on in a long time and i travel 27+ times a year i know the hotel was low priced but it was way worse then i could have thought. The in room phone did not work, the bed was horrible and over 1/2 the lights in the room did not work.

Nothing fancy, but the room was clean and the location very convenient for me.

no cont. breakfast; room dirty; one set of towels; couldn't get extra pillow or blanket; dried food in micro and refer; asked for 5 am wake-up call, did not get; room next to ours loud til 3 am got 2 hours sleep, night attendent did nothing about noise; bathroom drain broken; attendent on duty when we checked in could not tell us about any restaurants […] in neighborhood; heat etc. shut off when we arrived, was 20 degrees and heater took 2 hours to warm up room(sat with coats and gloves on); dark stairways to lower level outside; at checkout told attendant problems he just stared at us, did not talk. It is located in a quaint neighbor hood called the German Village, which gives one an experience of being in Germany, minus the German language. There are some very good Restaurants, and stores in the area. The hotel is easily accesible from the interstate. It is also located just a few minutes from the Nationwide Children's Hospital, or from Downtown […] Columbus. The rates are very reasonable. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Læs mere
