Unitas Hotel - Prag

Positiv overraskelse over kvaliteten på dette hotel, 10 minutter fra karlsbroen på gåben. Der er gratis kablet internet på værelset, samt mulighed for at låne DVD-film i receptionen. Morgenmadsbuffeten var også ganske god, pandekagerne fra á la carte menuen kan anbefales.

Et skønt hotel i det centrale Prag, samtidig med at hotellet har en utrolig historie bag sig, først som kloster og derefter det hemmelige politis hjemsted fra 1948-1990, med flere berømte fanger! Vi betalte dog for opholdet, og det kan absolut kun anbefales. Meget sød og kompetent betjening, og en efter tjekiske forhold fin morgenmad.

Hotellet har en perfekt beliggenhed. P-plads i gården. Værelset lyst og rummeligt. Rengøring i top. Morgenmadsbuffet enkel og velsmagende. Personale utroligt venligt. Vi valgte hotellet udfra historien om huset, og beliggenhed. Billeder levede helt op til det vi oplevede

Hotellet og værelserne var harmonisk indrettet. - Der var god plads i værelserne og på badeværelserne manglede der ikke noget. Der var indrettet et hyggeligt hjørne på den ene værelsesgang, med mulighed for at tage varme drikke, som man enten kunne indtage ved de bode og stle der var eller tage med på sit værelse. Serviceniveauet var rigtig godt, både […] i receptionen, hvor de var meget hjælpsomme og rengøringen var i top - hvis sengetøjet var blevet beskidt(havde spildt chokolade), så blev det skriftet og når vi kom hjem om aftenen havde personalet, fjernet sengetæppet - Dette var lidt overraskende, men også rart. Morgenmaden var rigtig god - de havde en standardmorgenbuffet, med et godt udvalg og ud over det , var der mulighed for at bestille specielle varme morgenmadsretter. Alt i alt et rigtig godt hotel, som lå meget tæt på den centrale del af Pragh og alligevel væk fra støj og larm. Vi vil både anbefale og benytte dette hotel igen. Læs mere

Besøgte Hotel Unitas Juli/august 2010, var meget tilfreds. Personalet i såvel reception som i morgenmadsrestauranten var meget venlige og hjælpsomme og ethvert ønske blev opfyldt hurtigt. Værelserne er store, lyse og med gode seng, badeværelset er ligeledes stort og lyst og dejligt rent, rene håndklæder hver dag. Morgenmadsrestaranten tilbyder et bredt […] udvalg uden at være overdådig. Beliggenheden er perfekt, man kan let gå til alle Prags aktraktioner og samtidig trække sig tilbage til et dejligt stille hotel om natten. Rigtig fint hotel, med høj service og velindrettede værelser - og en meget lækker morgenmadsbuffet. Et hotel vi vender tilbage til :-)

Et herligt og anbefalelsesværdigt hotel med et super professionel, venligt og dygtigt personale med service og kvalitet som focus. Her får man valuta for pengene. Morgenmaden uovertruffen med mange valgmuligheder. skønt gårdmiljø.

Hotellet er MEGET pænt, rent, hyggeligt og nyistandsat med rigtig søde og servicemindede medarbejdere. Der er parkering i aflåst gård. I samme gård kan man sidde og hygge med en drink og hvile fødderne! Hotellet har dog en grum historie, som HQ for det hemmelige politi under det kommunistiske styre.

Dejligt hotel i stille gade, tæt på centrum. Alt fungerede, alt var rent og pænt, alt var som det skulle være. Søren

The hotel is well kept and clean. Breakfast has a small selection but well maintained, good quality in a charming environment. Staff was attentive and polite. I stayed during Easter holiday, so prices were quite high for what it was. Overall, it was a nice experience. The convenient location is unbeatable.

Unitas is a nice little hotel that's big on service in the southern part of Old Town. It has some interesting history too. Large, clean rooms with nice little touches throughout the hotel, full breakfast included, and staff who will do anything to help. Everyone was so nice, and willing to accommodate our requests. Went to Prague for a long weekend in March with my boyfriend. Chose Unitas because they had great reviews and they didn't disappoint. The hotel was very easy to find and the staff were friendly. The room was immaculate. In fact, the entire hotel was completely spotless. The bed was so comfy and it was very quiet. There were road works going on nearby […] which could be heard outside, but inside the hotel you couldn't hear a thing! It was an easy walk to Old Town Square. Felt very safe as the hotel is opposite a police station. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff couldn't do enough to help you and make your stay as pleasant as possible. They also spoke excellent English, which was great because our attempts at Czech were laughable. When we left we had a late evening flight and they held onto our bags all day after we checked out - no hassle whatsoever. I would definitely recommend it! Læs mere

A clean, welcoming hotel with attentive helpful staff, well located withing walking distance of all you need to see. Breakfast very good and rooms clean and modern.

Unitas has wonderful service and paid attention to all the details. We were upgraded to the family suite and they had toys and a chair and table for our little one in the room. Also, plastic dinnerware for a child. This is wonderful when traveling with children. The room was spotless and very spacious. Huge rooms, high ceilings, safe and fridge in room. Lighting excellent thus we could plan from guidebooks in evening. English language channels on TV. Bathroom like a spa. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. It is in the perfect central location for getting around Prague especially by foot. Excellent.

Unitas was a good experience. Location was very practical. Hotel was stylish and service youthful and good. Excellent breakfast.

The Unitas hotel is an ideal choice for your visit to the beautiful city of Prague. The hotel is situated in a quiet non descript side street near to the police station. It is very quiet on a night time so a good nights sleep is guaranteed. However the location of Unitas is absolutely perfect. All the main sites are only a short stroll away. 10/15 minutes […] takes you to the Old town square, Charles bridge, Wencelas square etc. The hotel was spotless, warm and the bedrooms/bathroom lovely and spacious. More like an apartment than a hotel bedroom. There was a good selection for breakfast and if the buffet (cold and hot) wasnt enough you could order other hot food such as omelettes.They also have tea and coffee stations on each floor, just help yourself -great idea. The staff were all helful and spoke good clear english. I would say this hotel is more for the family or couple rather than the stag and hen scene. I like this hotel because of its convenient location and comfortable room. Service is excellent. Considering the rate I paid, it is certainly excellent value for money.

The images of the hotel on-line were amazing already. It was more unbelievable in person! From the friendly staff and excellent breakfest right down to the Mediterranean feel of the room and it's vaulted ceilings. Location was perfect, very close to public transit and just a few blocks from all major "Old Town" attractions. Rooms were very good and breakfast buffet great. Would stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Unitas Hotel. The facility is beautifully decorated, the front desk very helpful and our room was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast each morning was a delight and we appreciated the use of a computer in the lobby.

A really good hotel. Situated just off the main busy areas of Prague this old secret service building still resembles the convent it once was and has been tastefully turned into a comfortable hotel. Unless you want to pay loads of dosh in a posh hotel, this place is a no-brainer.

We stay 4 nights at the Unitas hotel in Prague. The hotel is very well located, beautifully decorated and the staff are very helpful. We had the family suite which is big, Quite, has lots of light, very well decorated. Breakfast is just great!! One of the best we had. We would defienetly recommend this hotel to anyone who come visit Prague.

As well as the above the hotel is in a quiet location but close to all the best sights and shopping with good restaurants as well. The actual street is a bit shabby but safe and the uplifting surroundings in the hotel more than make up for the slightly dull street for 100meres or so outside.

If you believe in ghosts, they are here and you can choose between those of the holy Grey Sisters or the secret police and their unwilling guests. Either way the place is roomy, very well appointed and steeped in atmosphere. We stayed at Unitas in late August and so happy we did! The hotel more than met our expectations. Clean, unique, all conveniences included. The included breakfast had good variety that served as our energy kick-start into a day's exploration in Prague. We had a 1st floor room which had 12 foot ceilings and plenty of wiggle room. Our view looked out […] onto a courtyard left with reminants of the convent including a statue of Jesus. This courtyard was behind the prison-like gates left behind. We felt very protected :). The only thing we would have changed would have been the softness of the sheets. They were all the same each day they were changed so I'm thinking that's all they had. Pretty rough sheets but certainly something we could overlook given the emmaculate condition of Unitas. This hotel was perfect for our trip to Prague. It was very clean with lovely decor and the staff were knowledgeable and courteous. The breakfast was also very good, always well stocked and fresh. We stayed here in July and it was an outstanding hotel. Located close to the Old Town, Charles Bridge, the largest disco, this hotel made3 our stay in Prague memorable. The room was clean and we encountered no problems with the hotel or saff. In fact, the staff did everything to make our stay fun. They helped us with the languqge barrier (not that hard […] almost all businesses and restaurants speak English). I can't say enough about the quality of the staff and the facilities at this hotel. The breakfast was amazing, and likely one of the most thoughtful I have ever seen. The rooms were spacious and in top condition. But what sets this place apart is the staff. Prior to my visit, they assisted me look at other regions to visit, and after we returned for […] a forgotten item, after days in the south of the country, they had kept it for us, held our luggage as we enjoyed a final few hours in Prague, arranged the driver, (this all after we had checked out days earlier) and as we walked out, the rain began to pour. There were many great things about this hotel, but if I had to make any criticisms it would be limited to two. Our room was plain and very clean, however I found the bottom sheet on my bed to be rough which bothered me throughout the night. I think the hotel needs to replace their bottom sheets that have seen better days. The comforter was fine, but […] the bottom sheet was pilled. Secondly, there was one receptionist who was not very friendly and acted annoyed when we asked for directions or recommendations for dining which is unfortunate as the others where very friendly. The room was very large, including a spacious bathroom. Best shower I had in my 1 month of travels. The hotel was clean and modern and the breakfast was excellent. I have a few complaints: yes,the location is walking distance to Old Town Square and Charles Bridge, but the immediate neighborhood isn't very lively or happening. The front desk staff were […] limited in their knowledge about local restaurants or concerts. And the wifi connection was poor for Apple products. The quality and comfort of the Unitas was superb. The hotel is perfectly located within walking distance of virtually everything we wanted to do. Being off on a quiet street out of the hubub was a bonus. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was abundant. I had absolutely no complaints.

A real haven after a day of busy touring. Beautiful and clean gem. Excellent location - quiet street but centrally located. Spa like atmosphere. Elegant, well appointed breakfast. Spacious room with all of the nicest amenities. Friendly, helpful staff. Couldn't be happier with our stay.
