Vi nød at bo 5 dage på Homewood Suites i Minneapolis.. Gode værelser, god mad, hyggelige omgivelser, god beliggenhed og et meget venligt personale.. Kommer helt sikkert igen.

They started cleaning up the breakfast table before we had finished eating. More types of bread and another pancake iron would help during breakfast. Friendly and acomodating staff. Helpful shuttle bus to Mall of America and MSP airport.

Very good location, nice surroundings, close to outlet and nice shopping area, and restaurant. Very friendly and helpful manager and staff.

Vi var generelt meget tilfredse med vores ophold på hotellet. Det var rene og rummelige værelser. Bilen kunne parkeres tæt på værelset, hvilket var et absolut plus. Steffen fik en god snak med personen i receptionen, der gav en fantastisk service og vidste kulturelt meget. Et stort plus. Venlighed og velvidende i receptionen. Sengene var gode. Vi sov godt. Beliggenheden tæt på lufthavn og Mall of America var et kæmpeplus. Vi kan kun anbefale hotellet til andre. Det var billigt, men vi fik meget for pengene.
Placering.
W Minneapolis - The Foshay ligger i hjertet af Minneapolis og er tæt på Minnesota Orchestra Hall, Target Center og Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome. I nærheden er også Basilica of Saint Mary og Mill Ruins Park.

"Great location"
It was our anniversary and the management sent up a bottle of champagne for us. It was a wonderful surprise! Great hotel. There are 2 bars located within the hotel which are the happening places in Minneapolis!
"Great Get away!"
Great staff that was always willing to make our stay the best possible. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Beds were wonderful. Best night sleep I've had at a hotel.

Excellent service and staff but something must be wrong with their ventilation system because we were on the 8th floor and the smell of grilled meat from Manny's Steakhouse on the 1st floor was completely overwhelming. "A Perfect Stay"
I honestly can't say one bad thing about my stay at the stay at the W Minneapolis - The Foshay. The building's historic charm of the 1920s-30s is juxtaposed with its sleek and sexy interior design. The beds were comfortable, the staff was friendly – and unknowest to us before our trip, we even had free access to the museum and observation deck at the […] top of the tower. My mother was with me and she'd visited the Foshay as a little girl in the 1960s.. it was a trip down memory lane for her, standing in front of the beautiful and ornate elevator doors. At night, we visited Prohibition, and marveled at the midnight view from the top. I'd recommend the W to anyone with or without ties to Minneapolis. It was truly a perfect stay. Læs mere

Very well located to everything we did that weekend - Look forward to staying there again.
The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom/shower was really nice. It was annoying that you couldn't get free wi-fi in the room...Trying to get onto the wi-fi in the hotel lobby was not easy, either. That was the biggest annoyance. "Very friendly staff"
The hotel staff was amazing! Everyone we ran into asked how our stay was and if there was anything we needed. Our room was beautiful and comfortable! We also really enjoyed the Living Room bar!

"good location with trendy appeal"
Lobby is GREAT! Fun and grand with a bar, library, concierge, etc. Prohibition Bar on the top floor is very nice with a good view - loved it. Rooms were not as grand but adequate. Staff was very accommodating. Felt secure as you needed your room card just to get the elevator to move!! Nice
"Should Have Stayed at The Grand"
The hipster vibe at the W, complete with purple decor, black lights and 24-hour piped in techno music, is geared more toward adolescents than weekending couples or traveling businessmen. The W tries to create a 21st century, hip, sophisticated, club atmosphere, but it tries too hard and comes off as simply trashy. Character has consequences, and for […] the W that means attracting a party crowd. And sometimes that crowd is actually staying at the hotel, like the band of drunk miscreants screaming in the halls at 2 AM after the bars closed down. When the front desk gal was informed of the chaos, she casually said, "ok, we'll send security up and let them know you're trying to rest." You think? Yet the fracas continued for another hour. If "18 to party, 21 to drink" is your calling card, then there's room for one more at the W. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and stay at the Grand. Læs mere
"Anniversary night in the city"
We stayed here for our 33rd, the hotel is beautiful! the rooms are nice, they're clean and modern. The upstairs bar was comfortable. We did go to Mannys for a steak dinner. Oops! Overcooked, overpriced, and way over the top with everything. Everything there is BIG, the steaks are big, too big for a normal person to eat. And it wasn't good enough to […] take home. I was very disappointed. Had drinks in the hotel and that was amazing as well as the rest of the hotel. "Solid experience"
My wife and I got a king suite on 25th floor. Amazing view, very stylish hotel. Bathroom sink was very slow to drain, water took a few to heat up, shower had low water pressure. Was still worth it though.

"W Foshay Do Not stay"
We stayed at the W Foshay New Years 2011-12. We valeted our car and checked in. Room was small but other than that it was fine. When we got our vehicle out of valet it had been broken into, the valet brought it around told us he thought the vehicle was broken into and they had to park it in an overflow lot. After looking at the vehicle the lock had […] been pushed in and the vehicle was broken into. I contacted hotel security and the manager of security was disgusting, she could care less and told me to basically rot. I then made a claim with the valet company and they denied the claim for no good reason. At this hotel you have no choice of where to park you have to use valet. "Amenities lacked"
For such a modern and upscale hotel, I am surprised by how cheap their towels were. They were stiff, hard, and scratchy, not plush and luxurious. Everything in the room had a price tag dangling off it. I felt like I was in a small store.
"The Foshay - Great Hotel. Great View!"
We stayed on the 20th floor and had a fantastic view of the city. The lobby was loud and vibrant, as expected on a Saturday night. The hotel was very modern and our bathroom was huge! Great for a night in the city.

"Nice hotel, skip the room service"
We had a lovely time at the W in Mpls. Very clean, comfortable. Ordered dinner through room service and the buns on the bugers were stale, meat overcooked, and overall the food was not warm. Other than that we had a great experience!

The inside of the hotel was great. I was a little worried that it looked like a night club in the pictures, but it definitely didn't feel like that once you walked in. Service was excellent. Very helpful and always looking for ways they could be more helpful. "Quality Downtown living in Minneapolis"
The W Forshay is a terrific hotel for Minneapolis visits. The atmosphere is cosy and classy. The Forshay Tower means you can easily find your way home. The location couldn"t be better with a 2 minute walk round the corner to the main street. One minor detail: If you choose to frequent the Living Room bar by the lobby, you may want to bring a flashlight […] and/or reading glasses... "Air Conditioning"
The ONLY bad thing about the room was that the AC would kick on every few minutes and was very loud. We had difficulty sleeping with the noise. Other than that though, the place was an absolute dream!

For such a large hotel, right in the heart of downtown, the experience felt very luxe and intimate. We did not hear other guests on our floor, we received impeccable service, and the amenities were terrific. Right off the bat, we mentioned to the check-in staff that we were celebrating our 10-year wedding anniversary and they upgraded our room immediately, […] no questions asked. The rooms are small, but luxurious, with great bedding, a full bar, ipod speakers, modern bath and luxury bath items, towels, and robes. The restaurants and lounges are absolutely top notch with fantastic decor and views and perfect service. The drinks were great and the apps were awesome. The vibe at this hotel is modern. Overall, this is an excellent hotel. However, on arrival, I was skeptical. I arrived before the 3 PM check in and was greeted by an inexperienced, unfriendly staff. The valet was excellent though. The front desk person was new and sick. Her superiors were curt and rude. I was told my room would be ready in 30 minutes. "Total Class"
Total Class is what you come to expect from the W. The Foshay tower is quite an experience. It brings you back to a time past. Loved going to the observatory and museum in the morning. Hit the lounge until the late night with a great crowd. THe steak house is also the best steaks in Minneapolis by far.
Comfortable hotel; staff was very swift with any type of service I requested. The hotel had two great bar/lounge areas.

I was pretty impressed with my stay at the W @ the Foshay. Perfect location, close to everything. Overnight valet was $28 so I parked 1/2 a block away in a parking garage for $5! can't beat that. Check in and out took no less than 2 min, very courteous and friendly staff, the room was smallish but had very nice amenities, typical of W hotels. The bed […] was uber comfortable and the shower was fantastic!!! Very nice rooftop bar and downstairs bar area, the living room, with chic furniture. Looked like it's the new spot to hangout on Saturdays. Manny's restaurant, a well known steakhouse, is downstairs. Had a great brunch for two there for less than $40 including mimosas..great deal. "ABSOLUTELY THE BEST"
Fantastic from start to finish! Luxury @ it's best. The valet's were extremely courteous & helpful with directions & recommendations. Check in & check out were flawless. Great location for a ball game, easy walk. Cannot think of anyway the stay could have been better. Check out the rates @ Hotels.com, you will be surprised!
