Små værelser men flotte badeværelser. Godt hotel til prisen. Vi valgte 5 dage her mod 3 dage i mid town . Godt valg. Mange restauranter og cafeterier rund om hjørnet. Få minutter til linie 1-2-3. Line 2 og 3- kører expres til Time SQ på 7 minutter. Kan anbefales.

Fedt hotel, til den pris! Dejlig tæt på Times suares og central park. Der er pænt, rent og alletiders service! Det eneste minus er at de er dyre med deres internet!
Placering.
Ramada Queens ligger i Jamaica tæt på St. John's University. Ekstra attraktioner i omegnen er bl.a. Citi Field og Belmont Park.
Hotelfaciliteter.
Der er gratis morgenmad. Ud over et fitnesscenter eller -rum tilbyder Ramada Queens aircondition på offentlige arealer. Gratis trådløs internetadgang er tilgængelig i fællesområder. Gæsteparkering er gratis og mulig i et begrænset omfang ud fra princippet om først til mølle. Dette er et røgfrit hotel.

Very priceworthy hotel with good service, complimentary parking and breakfast which was fine. 5 min. walk to Subway, total 30-35 minutes to Times Square. The district around the hotel didn't offer restaurants except fastfood nor other things of interest but felt safe.
"Not What it seems much more!!!"
I picked this hotel because it was the cheapest and the reviews all seemed pretty good at least far better than the hotels in brooklyn. When I drove I up almost had a change of heart because the neighborhood didn't look too safe and the parking lot only had four parking spots but being that I arrived early I didn't have to park on the street. The bengalese […] staff didn't have a problem checking me in early but I think that could have been that there was this disreputable pimp looking dude hanging around in the lobby with two also not so classy looking girls. As I am checking in I am having a really bad feeling about staying here but I do it anyway and it was the unique new york experience that i was looking for. then when I walk into the elevator is lined with some vinyl padding so people cant etch into it, which just increased anxiety. However the neighborhood is safe locals are friendly, mostly all from bangladesh, some hispanic and some black. the local Bengalese restaurants are exquisite and authentic definitely the best after a long day in manhattan, and the metro station is only three blocks away. I didn't have a problem walking at night and my car was not touched so I definitely recommend this hotel. I have stayed in much crummier Ramada's before this one was a treat Læs mere
"Impressed!"
I never write reviews, but this place deserved it. This hotel was the best value hands down. The room was spacious for two people. Refrigerator, iron board and cable tv were a plus. Bathroom was clean. Breakfast was mediocre, but who depends on hotel breakfasts anyway. Plenty of food places in walking distance that also deliver late night. I travelled […] from LGA to the Ramada Queens and taxi ride cost about $20. F train was a short, safe 3 block walk and to Manhattan it took about 30 mins. It was an overall good stay except my room was by the exit and people kept slamming the door. I found hair in the tub and the room rug was stained.

"The ramada hillside in queens"
It's convienently located near to transportation to airport and connections to trains and buses. The staff was very pleasant and the breakfast was good. Hotel was quiet and clean. I will go back again and recommend to friends and family

"The dirtest hotel ever!"
I was neutral in the judgement of my room and hotel in general, but it was disgusted, hallways floors, walls, doors. My blanket had make up and curly hair, pillow cases smell perfume (they didn't change them). the sink bathroom was nasty, the same than the hairdrier handle yikes!, toilet dirty, even the coffee cups had something dripping on the side. […] There was splash of brown stuff on walls and curtains. fridge was dirty inside and out. finger prints on bathroom and room door...they have never been cleaned. I asked to re clean my room, they just changed the blanket and pillows cases...finally because I couldn't stay anywhere else, I decided to buy a disinfectant spray and use it from top to bottom in the room. I am sorry for the hotel because it has great potential but management is really poor, they had no idea about cleaning and maintenance. I came in and the hotel look and was clean. U thought I would have to check in at 3pm but they made it possible and I check in at 10am.

Everything was fine except for the very limited parking, 10-12 spaces. I had to park on the street and get up early to move the car or feed the meter.

After reading the reviews, I thought nothing was drastically negative, so I took a chance with my stay. It was a pleasant surprise. The hotel room we stayed in looked exactly like the picture online. Despite some of the reviews that say it is not in a good location or far from the city, they obviously have never been to NY before. The hotel is 2blocks […] from the E/F train station; other than being in Midtown itself you can't beat this onefare location. It is 15 mins the most from JFK and if you love to shop, then you are 2 blocks from Jamaica Ave a strip full of stores/bargains. I would stay again and I would recommend this hotel. Læs mere
This hotel is the worst I stayed inn room smells and people are not that helpful. you can hear everything everything from the other room the wall was thin and everytime the fan starts it scare the heck out of me. Better off staying in car probably more comgortable. Dont waste your time here.

"Early Checkin"
They gave us such a hard time for early checking even though they had plenty of rooms and didn;t wanted us to have the room i drove 12 miles from NC to NYC but i guess its the NY attitude
"Ramada Queens, in NY"
I like the area and it was within my price range; however the option of not being able to close the window curtains was a bother. I kept seeing the street lights and the neon flashing lights of the building facing me. I also felt that people could see me changing and doing other stuff because of the sheer curtains. Fatima

"Dont do it"
The hotel was not at all what we expected, first off the so called "free parking" was the biggest disappointment the hotel parking lot only has five parking slots..no I'm not exaggerating if you don't believe me call and ask first. One of the employees at the front desk was also very rude, we were trying to ask for directions and he was on his cell […] phone talking about random stuff and just ignored the fact that we were standing there for five minutes. The neighborhood looks like to be a safe place but it's not a nice view. There are a gas station and a lot of cars shops close it. In the other hand I moved from Manhattan to stay 5 min to JK. Then I rented a car end went to a lot of places on Queens! Best Price and 5 min to JK, I recommend!

"Cockroaches"
There was a cockroach, approximately two inches in length in the main stairwell of the hotel. One wonders, if one is seen in the stairwell, how many are UNseen in the room?

close to the shopping mall and the airport. the services were excellent. the free breakfast was ready as early as before 5am...waoohhh my children enjoyed it.

"RAMADA was REALLY cool and convenient for us"
Me and my best friend was very impressed with the hotel staff..they were very friendly..the subway was 3 blocks and the neighborhood was not too bad as expected for jamaica queens...only bad thing was small rooms and gym...clean and nice!!!

If you're looking to save cash vs. hotels immediately surrounding JFK as I was, be sure you factor in round-trip car fare. Once you do that, this place might not seem as much a bargain compared to the pricier nearby hotels. By appearances the room was clean, but it was also quite dusty. Anyone allergic to dust mites ought to bring a dust mask or else […] look elsewhere. Overall, nothing special and nothing to recommend. If you're confident about the bus lines you can probably save a ton by staying here, but if you're taking a taxi/car service, you're not going to save much. Læs mere
"Pay extra and stay in Manhattan"
Location: across the road from a funeral home. We saw a body in body bag being unloaded and wheeled into funeral home first day. Very distressing. Relatively safe on Hillside Ave, but not safe in areas one block back .Police sirens can be heard constantly. Crime scene tape around street poles one morning Cleanliness: dirty carpet, kitchen /eating area […] not cleaned daily, rooms being serviced at 4:30 in the afternoon! Staff: pleasant, though some could not speak English Overall, we thought we would save money and stay in Queens and travel by subway (35 minutes into Times Square). Subway stop is handy and leaves every 6-7 minutes BUT still would strongly not recommend staying at Ramada Queens. Hotel itself is outdated, dirty and in a questionable neighbourhood. Læs mere

Bugs in hotel room. Furthest stop on Subway- took 45 to get into manhattan!
"Parking"
Only about 5 or 6 parking places. Because of this I was blocked in after checkout and had to wait for 1 and a half hours for the offenders to finally come out and move their cars. The front desk was no help at all and did not seem to care.

We had business in Manhattan and chose Ramada Queens for the cost. It's rather far out, four blocks from the subway, and in a somewhat sketchy area, but it's actually not too bad. Especially if you're on a budget. Slow elevator. Gym may as well not exist.

I was very disappointed that I couldn't use my credit card that I intended to use and also that I held my reservations with. The clerk refused to use the card without trying to swipe it, she actually said I would have to give her a $50.00 deposit or use another card, which I had no intentions of using, caused to have make transfers rom account to account […] When I requested an additional day the gentleman that was at the desk used the same card that she couldn't use with no problem. she made a comment that I have a problem because I told her I use this hotel all the time and never had a problem. "The Ramada in Queens New York"
It's an affordable and comfortable place to stay if you don't mind the 45 minute subway commute to Manhattan. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Very small parking lot. The staff is friendly and helpful.
I had booked and paid for the Ramada for the beginning and return of a trip to Europe. I was so dissatisfied with the hotel and its location that I didn't use the hotel on the return and booked and stayed at another hotel.
"Ramada Queens - not too bad"
Unlike most of the reviews I read I did not find the hotel disappointing. The staff are all Indian and all spoke English, the rooms were reasonable size and the hotel offers complimentary breakfast (cereal, muffins, toast and juice) to All guests despite my booking stating no breakfast was included. I was on the top floor (10th) and couldn't hear other […] guests besides the doors, the air con was slightly loud but as we were not in the room all day it was fine. The location of this hotel albeit in an area some may not feel too comfortable in I thought was rather convenient, the surroundings have a number of pizzeria's, burger and oriental and Asian food places. Not too far was the Jamaica shopping centre which had a number of small stores, and stores such as old navy, marshalls and a Gap outlet. The sub was very close, just a a few minutes walk and took about 45 mins to get to Rockerfeller Plaza in Manhattan and also the Q3 departing JFK airport drops you off 8 minutes away from the hotel and when returning back to the airport the bus stop is just situated across the road from the hotel. I would stay here again as its not too far from Manhattan the subway was ride was not too long Læs mere

Overall impression of the hotel was good. Room was clean, everything was working, housekeeping did a good job, free breakfast was decent and they did a good job keeping it replenished. Only a couple of blocks to the metro. I would stay again.
"Heart of major transportation hub"
Hotel is clean and nice. The location couldn't have been better. It's few blocks from subway station and major bus hub. Parking is a bit tricky though.
