The hotel is located in Old Hanoi therefore is easy to reach main activities. The cpnfort is basic but it is cheap and the staff is very helpful

Great staff, very helpful. The location is great for tourist. Close to everything you want to do in Hanoi central

Nothing too special about this hotel. Reasonable for price but nothing outstanding. We had a front room and it was very dark, ok if you opened shutters or main doors. Staff very keen for you to book tours but that often happens in vietnam. Good location, near to sites and lots of restaurants. Breakfast pretty poor in a dim dining area. Good choice on […] breakfast menu but what you get is not that exciting, ok if your a backpacker and just want something to keep you going! Gem of a hotel in an awesome locations

Wi-Fi signals are stable because each floor has its rooter! Staff are friendly and the place is convenient for sightseeing. The room has a window which doesn't face on the street. But as Hanoi city is filled with motorbike fumes, I don't mind.

Staff are fantastic, bit wary of letting hotels book trips etc, but let thesedo it all as they are so helpful and friendly, nothing a problem, would definately stop here again if back in Hanoi, good value for money

I'm torn between a 3 and a 4. Giving it a 4 because it is a very good value for the money, is right in the middle of the action, and the staff are very helpful. My hesitation is that the hotel is definitely not 'Posh'. I had the low-end windowless room... it was adequate, I had no problems. A friend opted for the high-end room. It was nicer... but still […] not posh. The lobby and dining area have been nicely refurbished. The building itself has some nice architectural features. Bottom line: bargain, yes; Posh, no. I got an executive room. Hotel at one time was a grand place, but recent changes used the cheapest materials & fixtures. Breakfast was poor, & I got the wrong order, that they did not want to change. Ask for wake-up call that never came. No clock in room. Lucky I woke up in time on my own.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the posh 6 nights total on our 2 wk trip to VN in october. We are 2 women travelling alone so we had booked the lst 3 nights before arriving. We were picked up at the airport as promised and was greeted with welcomes and smiles at the hotel. The hotel is situated in the old quarter so you are surrounded by culture and activity […] as soon as you walk out the door. We decided to fly to danang after 3 nights and Bac the hotel receptionist went out of her way to arrange flights, hotels , tours, pickup etc on the other end. We were also allowed to leave some bags at the hotel until our arrival back the next week. Her saying is "I make things easy for you"..and she certainly did. We can't say enough good things about our stay (hotel -reasonable price and the rooms more than adequate for 3*), good location, wonderful, friendly accommodating staff. It was a sad day leaving them and I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Hanoi.. Læs mere

Good value, friendly staff, great location.

The Hanoi Posh Hotel offers rooms that have great character. This is a "budget" hotel, but in reality is full of luxury. From the substantial antique wooden furniture, to the beautiful recessed ceiling details, the Hanoi Posh sets itself apart from other hotels. the service received was the best thing about our stay. they even arranged for someone to meet us at 4am at the station after our trip to Sapa..When we arrived at Hanoi airport from UK the taxi was there to meet us as promised. Our room was nice but when they discovered the A/c was faulty they immediately offered another (bigger) and even better room […] at no extra charge. no hesitation in recommending Hotel Posh! L’hôtel pourrait être très bien mais trop de petits détails vous gâche votre séjour... Nous y avons passé 4 nuits, dans trois chambres différentes, car il y avait des problèmes d'eau chaude, puis d'électricité, puis la chambre était trop bruyante (sur la rue) ... Le petit déjeuner inclus n'est pas exceptionnel (et j'ai trouvé une tranche de pain de […] mie moisie au buffet du petit déj... ça arrive certe, mais c'est encore un détail qui gâche votre séjour....). Pour moi, le rapport qualité/prix n'est pas suffisant, même si le personnel hôtelier fera tout pour vous rendre service (il parle très bien anglais et sont de très bons conseils). Læs mere

Bodde to dager på Hanoi Posh Hotel og hadde det som "base" i 3 dager til mens jeg reiste til Sapa. De ansatte var behjelpelige med så og si alt. Kan anbefales!

Well cleaned rooms, nice linen. Quiet rooms even though it is in front of a busy street. Breakfast is ok. English of staff is satisfactory. They stored my luggage while I went to a tour. No complaints! Would definitely come back next time.

El hotel se encuentra muy cerca del lago Hoan Kiem. El personal habla un nivel de inglés aceptable suficiente para sostener una conversación, hacer preguntas y recibir consejos. Las habitaciones son muy limpias. Pedí una habitación estándar y aunque no tiene ventana a la calle resulta beneficioso ya que son silenciosas.
