Jeg bor pt. i Wien, hvor jeg arbejder som au pair, men skulle finde et hotel til min kæreste kom herned for at besøge mig. Vi fandt 3 forskellige, hvoraf Hotel Embassy var en af dem. Jeg var ude og kigge på alle 3, og var ikke ét sekundt i tvivl om, at det skulle være det! Indgangen er utrolig indbydende. Der bliver gjort rent på værelserne hver dag, […] og badeværelset er helt fantastisk. Selvom vi boede lige ud til Landstr. Hauptstrasse som er forholdsvis trafikeret, mærkede vi ikke noget til larmen, da væggene er godt lydisoleret. Sengen er også meget behagelig at ligge i. Personalet er utrolig venlige og morgenmenuen er også i orden, med små ændringer hver dag. Det eneste minus skulle være, når man lukker skabene på værelset. Det giver nemlig et lille brag, så man skal lukke dem forsigtigt i. Det er dog så lille en ting, at det ikke har noget at sige i det store hele. Lige overfor hotellet går en bus til Wien-mitte, hvor man kan tage S-banen til lufthavnen eller U-banen rundt til byen. Hotellet kan derfor helt klart anbefales! Læs mere

OK ophold, flinkt personale, men ret snæver parkeringskælder. Bestemt ikke alle kan benytte den. - Pænt og rent overalt, god morgenmad.

Vi overnattede to gange på Eurostars Embassy, og det var en rigtig fin oplevelse. Hotellet ligger tæt på metrostation i et stille område. Selvom selve gaden udenfor er noget trafikeret, hører man absolut intet i selve hotellet. Alt er rent og fint, og personalet er ekstremt servicemindet og venlige. Alle snakker fint engelsk. Eneste minus er, at det […] inkluderede internet er pr. kabel, og det virkede ikke i vores værelse. Det gjorde så til gengæld, at personalet gav os en suite i stedet for vores normale værelse :-D Afstanden til centrum er ikke så stor, og med metroen er der ikke mere end tre stop. Nyt hotel med lækkert værelse og badeværelse. Der er aircon på værelset. Det fungerer bare helt som det skal. Meget fin morgenbuffet. God central beliggenhed, men pas på med parkering af bil, der er max. på 2 timer i hele distriktet. Der skal betales p-afgift.

Hotellets facade syner ikke af meget, men hvad gør det, når det indvendige er i top! Dejligt serviceminded personale og en fungerende air condition, der sørgede for et behageligt tempereret værelse. Badeværelset var lækkert og sengen komfortabel. Rengøringen af værelset var upåklagelig og morgenmaden var fin med et rigeligt varieret udbud. Som med […] det meste af Wien var nabolaget rart at færdes i. Det eneste (meget lille) minus er en lille gåtur til nærmeste metrostation, som dog ikke er længere væk, end at vi er ude i petitesser! Alt i alt var det et rigtig rart ophold på et hotel, jeg ikke vil tøve med at anbefale til andre. Læs mere

Vi fik forkert information af receptionist om starttidspunkt for operaen, hvilket betød at vi ikke fik set 1.akt på Rosenkavaleren, hvor vi reserveret, men ikke modtaget billetterne. Vi har ikke modtaget svar på vores skriftlige kritik.

I spend one great week in Vienna, and I am very happy with this Hotel, for sure going I'll come back to stay here again. The Breakfast was Incredible, A very Clean and Comfortable Hotel, The location is just perfect! close to everything, bus stop in front the hotel, and close to subway stations. All the employees in the Hotel were very nice and always […] with a smile. My favorite one was MERLY the hotel supervisor. It was a great surprise to a hotel and find somebody who speaks spanish. Immediately we adopt her. She was super nice and help us with all the info we need it. Always with a smile and friendly. I am the kind of person that always read Hotel reviews because are more accurate than stars, And I truly recommend this hotel if you are planning to Visit Vienna and wants a great hotel with a reasonable price. The hotel was convenient around 25 minutes from the airport by taxi (33 euros). Room was facing the road but not to noisy. Very warm, good shower and the buffet breakfast was also good. Free wireless internet. Only stayed one night but would definitely stay there again.

Superb hotel, great smart comfy room, wifi that worked, excellent buffet breakfast. Needed to take underground to get into city but a station within half a mile so trip only took 15 min.

Denisse, front desk agent was very kind in answering all of my questions about tourist attractions. Girl who checked me in, I forgot her name, sorry, also gave me a warm welcome and provide me with information about my stay in Vienna, including maps with highlights of Vienna interesting cultural places. Stephan also provided us with outstanding customer […] service. We have an early check out, around 5:00 a.m. and he prepared a delicious cappuccino and helped us with the luggage when the taxi driver arrived at the hotel. Buffett breakfast was delicious with a variety of food. Modern rooms, with a nice rain shower head. The only drawback was the location to the nearest u-bahn station about 10 minutes walk but there is a bus stop in front of the hotel that can take you a couple of blocks away from the u-bahn station. I also enjoy the Rochusmarket a few blocks from the hotel. I will higly recommend this hotel and I will stay there in the future. Læs mere

From check-in to check-out, we enjoyed everything about our stay. Stephan at check-in provided maps and information about the neighborhood. The ladies at the desk in the morning were very helpful with directions and locations. The apples provided are a great touch and the breakfast is quite good and a great start to the day. This hotel was beautiful and the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. The location to the city center was perfect, because it wasn't directly in the center of the city it was vey well priced but it was only about ten minutes from the city center and so you still felt as though you were in the middle of everything. The hotel is situated.directly […] on a main street and yet the rooms were somehow almost completely soundproof. It was completely relaxing and we left feeling very pampered. Great location: 10 mins walk from underground. airport line connecting bus stops right in front of hotel. Free fresh water in the lobby everyday. Nothing to complain about the cleanliness of the hotel and I am a germophob myself. Staff was very nice; helped me print off free copies of tickets to local attractions.

Overall, I would rate it a 5. Great location, comfortable, spacious and immaculate rooms. The air conditioner was fabulous, especially on the days where it reached 97F! We didn't eat the breakfast so we can't rate that. Stephan at the front desk was amazingly efficient. When we arrived, he was by himself with a line waiting and the phone ringing and […] he managed to sort everyone out quickly, efficiently and calmly. He gave excellent restaurant suggestions and confided he doesn't recommend one unless he has eaten there himself. However, his colleagues were not of the same caliber. For instance, when asked if any of the museums were air conditioned, one of them told us they all were. Not true. C'mon, be honest and say you don't know, or even better, call to find out. Don't give out misinformation! Another told us the Hop On Hop Off bus boarded right in front of the Hilton. When my husband asked where by the Hilton, she acted miffed and told him right by the Hilton. It turns out it boards past the Hilton on the other side of the street. Hotel is well maintained and convenient. I wish the staff would have told me about the air-conditioning restrictions in Vienna. Additionally I wish they would have told me about the correct breakfast start time on Saturday. I paid for a rate with breakfast, but was unable to utilize this benefit since I had to leave at 7am to get to the airport.

The room was great: modern, beautiful, and it had a great view. I could not believe it. So nice. Everything was clean. and beautiful. The service was very courteous, the people were nice, they were prepared to answer questions, and they really did a good job. The people in the reception area speak German, English, and Spanish (and maybe something else), […] so it was easy to communicate. The location of the hotel is good. There is a bus right in front of the hotel and it takes you to the train. Or you can walk to the train and enjoy the stores, cafes, and gelato stores on the way there. Læs mere

Had a great room on the 8th floor that actually had a balcony and a sizeable deck on the opposite side of the room. There are some places very close by for dining options. A little tricky finding it from the subway, but only about 400 meters once you do. Completely satisfied ! Nice service , very helpful staff , very good shower , soft & comfortable bed ! Bus station right in front of the hotel , with a bus that runs every 7 min in the week time and every 10 min during the weekends.

This hotel is well run and offers very good value for money. The reception staff are well trained, and friendly as you would expect in a top ranking hotel. It is easy to get a taxi into the centre as these are provided by the hotel in 3 minutes, or to hire a city bike. We did not use public transport as we wanted quick travel to the centre. Our only […] issues were non-provision of shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom, we were only provided with a small bottle of shower gel each. When this ran out on the third day we had to ask reception for more which was a bit off. My wife and I stayed here for 1 night at the end of a 3 week vacation and wished we could have extended it another night or 2. Very nice hotel and room and the location was close to the subway and own town. Would not hesitate to stay again

We loved this hotel. Check-in was easy, staff was friendly, the room was clean, had a/c, great shower, terrific heated towel bar (useful for drying hand laundry), and only 4 blocks from the local metro station. Vienna's metro system is very easy to figure out which makes getting around town MUCH easier. The hotel breakfast was not complimentary, but […] it was delicious. The coffee machine alone made it worth it. We learned over the course of 4 hotels in 4 cities that claimed "satellite tv" that their idea of satellite tv is much different than that in the U.S.. We were lucky to get 2-3 English-speaking channels which were always news channels, but if you're on vacation, why are you watching tv anyway, right? The rooms are clean and new. I also liked the internal design of the rooms. The hotel staff are very helpful and kind. Location is good, 5 min walk to the metro (U3) and there's a bus station 5 steps from the hotel. Cheap supermarket near the hotel

I have a current GPS in my car and could NOT get to this hotel. I spent over 45 minutes and finally found it. As a result, I was late returning the rental car and was charged an extra day. NOT PLEASED.

We were very pleased we selected this hotel for our 6 night city break in Vienna, having read positive reviews from others. The room and (particularly) the en-suite were modern and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. We paid extra in advance for breakfast which is sometimes a mistake, but on this occasion we were pleased we did: it turned […] out to be very good value and there were always enough tables and food. The hotel is about 7 minutes walk from Kardinal-Nagle-Platz metro, from where it took about 7 minutes to get to the city centre (Stephans-platz). We never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a train. There is an excellent ice-cream parlour immediately opposite the hotel which is good for a late night ice instead of (or in addition to!) a dessert with your evening meal. The area was clean and we never felt unsafe. Two tips: * Not knowing Vienna, we got the airport bus to Schwedenplatz when we arrived and then made our way out to the hotel. It would have been much better to have taken the airport train which goes to Landstrasse, just one stop from Kardinal-Nagle-Platz. This would have been more expensive but would have saved a great deal of time and trailing of suitcases. *If you are a 'senior', which in Vienna seems to vary in meaning from over 60, over 65, or simply 'retired', it seemed to us the discounts were better than those obtainable with the Vienna Card. Staff was friendly and prompt. Shower and toilet have nice design and beautiful black/dark-brown tiles. Room is generally clean. The small bench under the TV set was stained - irreparably probably. The hotel has some signs of being tired/over-used. It needs some renovation soon.

A super big room with 180degree view, very quiet, clean and comfortable. The actual address is "landstrasser hauptstrasse 120" - we lost 45min searching the neighbourhood because "landstrasse 120" does not exist. The only small faults are that internet signal was not strong enough on the 6th floor so we had to use the lobby, and the curtains could use […] a wash. Otherwise just perfect. Well connected to the centre via bus, which leaves directly in front of the hotel and takes a short time. Such large and nice room and nice hotel was a really pleasant surprise considering we paid a very economic price! Læs mere

Hotel Embassy is located outside of the tourist area, however it takes about a 5 to 7 min walk to the U metro station and another 10 minutes and you are in the central square. Very convenient hotel with many shops and bakeries nearby. Hotel has a great walk in shower which is rare in Europe. We had a corner room which was above average size for European […] standards. Nothing fancy but gets the job done for a tourist. Nice rooms, modern, great breakfast, not a big front desk staff but they give you attention when it is your turn. Only drawback is a 5-10 minute walk to the subway however bus stop right in front of hotel which goes to CAT. Great value for a few days of Vienna sightseeing.

Upscale, very chic boutique hotel in a wonderful neighborhood in Vienna. The rooms were nicely decorated, very immaculate and spacious enough for two people. The multilingual staff were extremely courteous and helpful with suggestions of where we could find a local pub that would be open on a holiday. Breakfast in the morning was great with an assortment […] of baked goods, food for those of us who wanted to eat healthy and a variety of healthy fruits and your typical American food - scrambled egss. Close to metro stops, very nice room, service was great, free internet in lobby. Did not try their breakfast as there were tons of cheap options on the way to the metro.
