Holiday Inn Casper East - McMurry Park - Evansville

We waited over an hour in the restaurant for our dinner. After my husband went to the waitress three times, she finally brought us cold food. The hotel is so loud. There were a few issues between the creation of the reservations at hotel.com and the actual stay. when checking in there was no notes on the account stating that we should have breakfast coupons for our family during the stay. The hotel staff took care of that for us at check in and made it good. When checking into the room though there was no pull […] out bed like was advertised in the suite we stayed in. it was noted on some documentation in the room that there were no roll in beds or pull outs available. This made it uncomfortable for my kids as they were forced to sleep on the floor and not on a pull out bed as we had anticipated. both of these issues I put on hotels.com as if we would have communicated directly with the hotel that wouldn't have been an issue. I would have moved to a different hotel but because of the State Basketball tournament in town they were all booked up. When we did eat breakfast in the hotel restaurant I had to question them about their kids eat free advertisement which was not reflected on the bill and they charged me for it. I questioned the waitress and she took care of it for me but said I should have been given coupons for the kids. in the end the meal was taken care of just not as smooth as I wanted. the exhaust fan in the bathroom was not working. i ended up fixing it myself. I ask for some additional towels to be delivered to my room and they never came. The pool was nice but the surface around the pool was very slick. I almost fell when there with my kids and another young girl fell hard and hit her head while I was there. all in all the stay was Ok but a few too many bumps in the process for me and if I have a choice next time I will choose something different for my family. Just stayed one night, as we were passing through. Hotel was clean, and very convenient to the interstate. However, I paid the $20 extra to include breakfast. After asking, they gave me a certificate for breakfast for 4 people. Next morning, when I read the fine print, it said good for up to $20 total, so we were charged for anything over $20. Cheapest […] thing on the menu was about $6, so no way you can get out of there for under $20 anyway. So the certificate doesn't save you any money. After looking at the prices/selection, we would have eaten on the road, if we hadn't already paid for the certificate. Læs mere

Good hotel, very comfortable, perfect for a stop on a road trip, probably less if you plan to stay several days in the neighborhood. The only "negative" point if probably about breakfast (not much choice, and average quality) - though it is a quite common problem in most hotels nowadays...

The Holiday Inn-Casper East though clean & comfortable got a D-, ( phone calls to: Front Desk, Master Card & Hotels.com and additional time leaving) which is inexcusable. I booked a "King w/brkfst". The moment I checked in I knew there was a problem. Front deskman, "They'll move the room charge from 'hotels.com' credit card to your card, cause that's […] how they do it." HU? Yes, Hotels.com, right. The room is pre-paid. O.K. and what about breakfast? Dining-room is around the corner, serves a 6 a.m. (I forgot about the w/brfkst part) but it should have been on the res.) Morning comes the bill was under my door with a room charge! I call the Front Desk .... "Oh no, don't WORRY about that I see you booked through hotels.com, it's just how 'we' do it." In 10 months I think I've used 3 Free nights and that's NOT how it's done. There is no bill. I call my c.c. co. to check and yup there is a pending charge for the full amount. Back up.... I also ordered room service for breakfast. Funny thing about being annoyed, one recalls everything, including the booking w/breakfast! I called Hotels.com and I have to say the entire matter was cleared up within 10 minutes. Not only was the charge for the room reversed the breakfast was removed as well. Departing took an additional 15 minutes. The manager has to reconcile and print my credit and the new bill. I WAS NOT LEAVING WITHOUT A PROPER BILL SHOWING THE CREDIT AND NO CHARGE. Læs mere

Being a fairly new facility, I found it to be very clean with comfortable beds. Might pay a little more attention to the in-room coffee pots. I started to make coffee (which I consider a great amenity) but the pot was not clean nor was the filter basket.

Last minute road trip, got on and picked this hotel because of the amazing price. Was a little worried, but was very impressed and happy with everything. Beautiful rooms and lobby. have to go back at the end of May and this willbe my choice.

Very clean! nice staff, anything you need they were immediately on it. Frig and microwave in the rooms would be nice. pretty standard most places. other than that it was wonderful. Priced good for the quality.

New hotel, only downside is it's a bit out of the way and not very close to other businesses. The room was great, bed and shower were also great. I'd stay there again.

The price is a little steep, if your're just blowing through. But it's clean and very comfortable.

This HI, once located, proved to be much closer in quality to an upscale hotel like Hilton or Mariott. It's a very nice hotel for the price and I will use it again and highly recommend it.
