Vi var på vej videre så dette var blot et stop på vejen. Men Monterey er bestemt et besøg værd. Monterey Bay Travelodge er super til prisen, og fint til en enkelt overnatning.

Hvis man får et værelse ud mod gaden må man forvente en del støj, men ellers et aldeles udmærket hotel. Morgenmaden får man i en restaurant i stueetagen - ejes ikke af samme ejer - den "inkluderede" morgenmad er ikke noget at skrive hjem om - alternativt får man 25 % rabat på morgenmad fra menukortet - helt ok.
Gebyrer for ekstra opredninger kan forekomme og varierer afhængigt af hotelpolitikken.

"Great hotel"
I have stayed here before and just love it. The mattresses are very comfortable, the hotel is extremely clean, the staff is very friendly and professional. The indoor pool was just great for the kids. I plan on staying here each time I make the trip to Salinas to see friends and family.

"Salinas Holiday Inn Ex-"
This hotel was very clean and in a great location. Next to Highway 101 but not noisy at all. Our neighbors were partying late at night and when I called the front desk they immediately sent someone up to tell them to quiet down.

"Holiday Inn EXP in Salinas with indoor pool"
The overall is good but the AC is malfunction that night. No matter what we do it blow HOT AIR. We found that out at 10pm and everyone was ready to sleep so we don't want to change the room. I ended up open the window at night. The breakfast is good with mini pancakes made on the spot (machine). We love the in door swimming pool with SPA.

Very friendly, helpful people working there. Very good breakfast, excellent coffee and comfortable beds and pillows! Staff very helpful.....we needed some plastic forks for our room and they offered paper plates, napkins, and forks and spoons!

Hubby and I stayed one night. Very relaxing and enjoyed the indoor spa!
"Not the best"
Thin walls in the room (heard the neighbor snoring). Went to the front desk, but was not given another room. Breakfast was less than decent. Cold omelets with a strange filling.
"The food"
It would have been nice to have a better selection of fruit, the only fruit I saw was bananas which I cannot eat. Some fesh oranges would have been nice. The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean and confortable.

"This place sucked"
We booked the room with two beds - when we got there they only had rooms with Kings. The staff was very unhelpful. The rooms were just ok - this has been one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at.

We arrived at our hotel early to dress for a special occasion. The receptionist was friendly and helped us find a room so we didn't have to dress in the bathroom! The room was very nice. The continental breakfast had everything; even a pancake maker! The only negative would be the pull out sofa. Easy check in, thanks to Hotels.com. Comfy room. Quiet...good wi-fi. Great breakfast in the morning. Kids loved the indoor pool.

Room for our family of four was very comfortable, Breakfast although simple, had a good variety from warm eggs and meats, toast, pancakes, oatmeal to cold cereal and fruits was a great way to start our day, Atmosphere was relaxing and pleasant, Indoor swimming pool and hot tub was EXCELLENT Thank you for providing us a wonderful experience,

The property was very nice, new and clean. The brakfast was good and the service was great. The location is cnvenient near the 101 freeway but the surrounding neighborhood is not the best.

"Great Hotel, so clean and so nice!"
My husband and I wanted to go to Monterey for the weekend and stay in Monterey but it was way too expensive, so we decided to stay at this Holiday Inn Express in Salinas. It was a 30 minute drive to Monterey but it was worth it. "Not as clean or convenient as I had hoped."
We were happy with the convenience of the freeway but disappointed in the cleanliness of the room, the condition of the exercise room and with the breakfast. There were hairs in the bathtub and only one of the three machines worked properly in the gym. The breakfast was very minimal. "Very good beds"
we stayed at this hotel for only one night, but the beds were so comfortable that we had wished we booked our hotelstay for longer. We stopped here on our tour on route 1 from LA to SF. The pool was rather small and inside. The breakfast was poor, just eggs with cheese, yoghurt, bread and cereals. The bananas were out!

"roadside convenience"
The hotel is conveniently located right next to the 101, and offers exactly what the road warrior needs. Clean bed, check. Efficient service, check. Continental breakfast, check. Do not go expecting to be near any local sites or regional highlights.

This hotel was actually better than expected! I had been told after booking room that Salinas area was gang ridden and not safe area. This hotel was conveniently located to US-101 and neighborhood did not feel dangerous. I still wouldn't recommend going out wondering after dark. During our stay, there were 3 shootings in two days in Salinas. They were […] not in the neighborhood of the hotel but still scary if you have business in Salinas area. We never stayed in Salinas to sightsee, the hotel is within reasonable driving distance to Monterey and Carmel for golf and sightseeing. Læs mere

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel with my grandson. We especially enjoyed the indoor pool, which no one was using at the time we were there. The amenities were above average and everyone was polite and helpful in the hotel. The best hotel I have ever been to with my family. This hotel is about 16th month old and is very modern and nice. Staff is great and cheerful. The rooms looks just like shown on the pictures. Excellent Hotel in the Salinas area with very competitive rates. My wife and I have stayed here twice now after staying at other hotels in the Salinas area. This hotel has the cleanest and most comfortable rooms with everything you need in each room. The small fridge was nice for storing groceries on our stay. "Pricey but good for business trip"
The Hotel seemed pricey for the location. Hotel row in Salinas. But it was convenient right next to the freeway for my getting around. They had breakfast in the a.m. so that is convenient for a quick bite for the business traveler. I was in town on business; the company had booked a stay but I came a day early for convenience and booked this room the […] first night. For no apparent reason, the front desk was unable to keep me in the same room the second night. They had me check out and check back in to a room directly under mine...same exact room layout. Fine, I got over it but the new room smelled like hair spray in the bathroom--sort of permeated the room. I closed the door. The bed was comfortable and the room clean (smell aside). the hotel was great complimentary breakfast, mini store in the lobby but my favorite thing was the indoor pool and jacuzzi. it was perfect because the weather was very cool it was super cold but not hot enough to go swimming but the indoor pool was heated and was the perfect temperature to enjoy a refreshing dip.
