We stayed here twice, before and after our trip to Machu Picchu and really enjoyed the hotel. We stayed in two different rooms, 250 and 209, both lovely with lots of character. The location is pretty convenient and it is really easy to catch a cab out front of the hotel. The hotel itself is a maze if you are staying in one of the further rooms. We got turned around each time! Also, the rooms are really dark with only one window in our room and all the windows look out onto the hallways, which also means you hear every conversation […] by your room. Granted this is also part of the historic architecture, but with the courtyards windowed in, the sound just bounces around. We had a issue where they took our fridge from our mini bar and left it in the hallway. When we asked twice, if they would replace it, they said yes, but that never happened. Hence, we could never keep any of our leftover meals. Also, our shower leaked on the floor pretty badly and when we arrived there were hairs still left in the shower. I honestly felt that the hotel was overpriced and that once we walked around we found just as nice hotels for a lot less money in just as good of a location. The fresh juice at breakfast was the best part, but not enough to make me stay there again. Læs mere

The hotel is over 400 years old and could do with some renovation; our floor was very creaking and uneven. The staff was excellent and so was the breakfast the following morning. It is in a safe neighborhood and is walking distance from many of the sights. if you like a quiet room request a room that does not face the street; pretty loud with all the […] traffic going at all hours of the night. The staff was exceptional. We were upgraded our one night from our booked regular king room to a suite. The extra space (sitting area with desk, small table and sofa) was more than we needed or used, but it was very nice. The hotel had several useful free amenities such as computers with fast internet, hot coca leaf tea to help yourself to at any time. The […] staff spoke English well and were very helpful. We stayed in this hotel twice, before and after our 4 day inca trail trip. Although it was a bit more expensive than some of the other hotels we had looked at, it was definitely worth the price. Its very close to the main part of town, an easy walk. It is a beautiful old building with loads of character, but renovated to provide all the modern comforts. […] Spacious rooms with huge comfortable beds, we also had a bathtub in our room, which was much appreciated, particularly after the inca trail. The hotel organised tours for us and also stored or luggage for the days we were on the inca trail. When my partner fell ill on our last day, the hotel allowed us a late checkout at no extra cost. Casa Andina is a beauitful hotel in a great location with fantastic service. I highly recommend.

Charm, good location, excellent service. There are many Casa Andinas, and the Private Collection is their top of the range.

5 of us stayed at this hotel 3 times over the space of 8 days. Everything went like clockwork - transfers to and from airports and train station on time etc. Rooms were good, service great.

We spent two nights at Casa Andina Private Collection prior to going to Aguas Caliente to spend the evening before our Machu Picchu tour. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was very good, however, the front line staff was snobby and the wait staff in the restaurants were incompetent. The only staff person we liked was Joel, the bartender. He was great! There are equally good hotels in Cuzco for half the price. I would recommend the El Dorado on Sol Av.

A very nice hotel close to the main plaza, but not so close as to be besieged by vendors. Great service, lovely rooms, good food. Was a bit noisy at times due to echos in the courtyards, but the excellent service and wonderful staff more than compensated from the occasional early or late arrival.

Meine Frau und ich übernachteten zweimal je zwei Nächte im Casa Andina Private Collection in Cusco. Bei der ersten Übernachtung waren wir in einem Eckzimmer zur Via San Augustin hin - lärmig durch die ganz Nacht. Zudem rüttelte der Boden bei grossen Fahrzeugen, das Fenster öffneten wir nicht wegen des Verkehrs. Wir wünschten für die zweite Etappe in […] Cusco ein ruhiges Zimmer, erhielten ein solches. Nun war es wirklich wunderbar ruhig. Alles stimmte. Nicht möglich ist es mit den Heizkörpern, die wirklich grossen und vor allem hohen Zimmer zu heizen. Investitionen, dies zu verbessern, wären selbst in Peru enorm. Deshalb ist es von Vorteil, gleich zu Beginn zusätzliche Wolldecken zu verlangen. Schön und gediegen ist die Ambiance im Restaurant. Reichhaltig ist das Frühstück. Insgesamt ein Hotel, das ich jederzeit wieder empfehlen würde. Læs mere

Excelente atendimento, otimo cafe da manha. Fica a uns dez minutos de caminhada da plaza de armas. So um probleminha, contratei uma guia (de nome francis), indicada pelo hotel e tive alguns inconvenientes. Excelente hotel. Me dieron un upgrade en la primera parte de la estadia a una hermosa suite, y nos guardaron el equipaje mientras fuimos a Machu Picchu. Muy buen y completo desayuno. Personal siempre dispuestos a colaborar en lo que uno requiera. Altamente Recomendable con buena relacion calidad-precio.
