It was a decent hotel stay for my family of 4 after a long day at Legoland. The office staff was nice, they put a group of us together in rooms next to each other in a very short notice. The rooms were nice and clean.

I chose this hotel for price and location to Legoland. It was clean in the room. The lobby had an unbearable smell of curry. Continental breakfast was sad. Our room was cleaned but, things like coffee cups and creamers with sugar were forgotten on 2nd and 3rd day. Shampoo was taken out and not replaced. An unexpected charge for a roll away bed. Freeway […] noise all night. All this was not worth the price. I will stay in another location next time. Læs mere

Conviently located 1 exit from Legoland! We were tired from our day there and it was great to get to a clean room so quickly. Close to freeway, grocery, and eateries.

They were doing construction work in the room next to us at 9pm!!! Woke us up and the lady at the front desk could care less!!!! She never did anything to stop them!! We left the hotel. Horrible HORRIBLE place!!! DO NOT stay here!!!

Although place is near the I-5 which was very noisy, the place was kept clean and functional for a low rate. Conveniently located near legoland. I will definitely stay again here if I have to go back to legoland again

we arrived at the hotel right off the freeway. I thought when we got our room freeway noise would penetrate the walls, windows, etc. When everything is all closed up its nice and quiet for the most part, little noise at all. We really like finding ways to save money traveling and this spot was one big block away from albertsons & a park which has public […] grills for use even closer by. We decided to actually grill at the park for our vacation, just a nice little twist while on the road. The rooms have fridges and microwaves, for the rate in california that was very nice addition. There is a BEER store right next to the albertsons with the biggest selection of home brews I have ever seen. We had tickets for legoland, but the weather was bad, maybe next time around. This town carlsbad is nice and quiet, compared to the regular California hustle. I would stay again at this hotel. Only thing I noticed was out of date Tv's most places have upgraded. Baaaad water-down coffee, and breakfast rolls are not worth mentioning. Otherwise, the overnight stay was OK.

Great place. Comfortably located near fwy. Gas. Vons. And fast food places

Best hotel for what you pay. I highly recommend. This was my second stay.

This place was very nicely updated and clean. Great value and good location!

My family visited Legoland this past weekend and stayed here. Great price and a short distance to Legoland, restaurants and the Carlsbad State Beach. I would recommend it to friends. The next night we stayed in a supposedly upscale hotel in Hollywood when visiting Universal Studios and it wasn't near as good. Friendly staff too!

The room was nice, but we found blood stain on the bed spred. There aws alot of noise coming from thr room next door till 4:00 a.m. in the morning.

There is a much nicer place just a few doors down, and I recommend that you stay there instead. This hotel is barely acceptable. Broken hair dryer in the room, pool closed, loud construction going on (no mention of this when the reservation was made), and worst of all, the front desk clerk (owner) was unkempt and unpleasant. phone jack off the wall and no ring tone, alarm clock did not come on, hair dryer not working, dirts and dust behind the table to name the few.

Although plain from the outside, this motel was very clean. The artwork, mirrors and BED were 4 star quality. Nice staff. Lovely kid friendly park within walking distance.

The hotel was very clean, the bed very comfortable. I was there to go to Legoland and it was really close. The tile in the bathroom (and in front of the bathroom counter) was freezing - definitely need to keep socks on when getting ready). The staff was very friendly and the facility had a washer/dryer which was convenient.

The bed is comfortable. It came with a fridge and microwave oven. It was also very affordable per night. There are many place to eat nearby but you'll need a car.

We were very pleasantly surprised with this little hotel. The rooms were very clean - ours had modern bathroom counters and fixtures. The staff was really helpful with anything we needed. Our stay was just a quick over-nighter between Legoland and catching a cruise out of Long Beach - so we found the location to be super convenient. There is not a substantial […] continental breakfast - but we weren't expecting anything more than coffee, which is served in the lobby. There is a restaurant right down the road if someone wanted a full breakfast. There is also a Rite-Aid super close, which was convenient for when we needed to pick up a few extra items. Good for sleeping only and not hanging out. Everything is clean except the carpet in the room where we stayed. One exit away from Legoland.

The management was understanding, I made an error with my checkout date. They left all my belongings and kept the room for me until the next evening, upon my return I simply got charged for the extra night. You get what you pay for. Low price but not the best in accommodations. Ok for sleeping, but not a place where you want to hang out.

This hotel looked exactly as it did in the pictures, which was good. The room was clean and updated, the temperature inside was perfect for a chill night. The only thing that I can maybe complain about was the breakfast. They could have had some bagels and fresh fruit but no. My wife and I took the kids to Legoland for a couple days and this was a perfect location with affordable rats. It was within 5 minutes of Legoland, and lots of shopping and restaurant choices nearby. We even went to the beach one day, which is also very close. The free wifi in the room was awesome, cause we just fired up the computer and watched Netflix […] after a long day. There was also a refrigerator in the room, which made snacks and breakfast easy. The included breakfast consisted of muffins and juice, so just know that you'll probably want to bring your own, or plan to go somewhere else for breakfast. Læs mere

For the money I recommend this north county stay, but being I-5 convenient brings the inconvenience of a good amount of noise.

I stayed one night and had a good time there. WiFi worked for me. Front desk was fast and friendly. I will probably stay there again.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. The first time was perfect! Great location, affordable price, nicely remodeled room. However, this time we had problems with how the front desk handled noisy neighbors (or lack or responce).

Very reasonable price, convenient location. Would prefer more detailed information about breakfast since it was not continental but coffee, juice, muffins. Room is clean.

Been here quite a few times, right next to Carlsbad village. Really easy, good customer service. Beds are alright, but you get what you pay for. Somewhat small rooms, but good for staying over. Overall had a lot of fun and a great experience!

Was a good room for the the price just wish there was a high locking feature (chain lock or something) on the door since I was traveling alone with young children and all they had to do was turn the handle to unlock the door and leave the room. Nice staff.

I stayed with my family for 2 nights, and it was ok I mean it wasn't like wow!! But the room was very small for 2 adults 2kids. The sitting area is hardly that just a table with 1chair. You get what you pay for, no frills. Easy access to freeways and really good Thai restaurant right down the street.

The room was way more than I expected for the price we paid. The furniture was and bathroom were recently renovated. Nice place. Will definitely come again. The agent at the front was friendly and helpful.

Glad I booked a reservation for 2 days with my family. The room is very, very nice my husband and I are impressed with the elegant furnishings. Enjoyed the continental breakfast too. Thank you so much.

Small room but remodeled, clean and great location for a great price.

Not a luxury hotel, but clean and the room was up-to-date. Some noise from the freeway, but not bothersome even for a light sleeper. Friendly staff; helpful; close to the good stuff.

This hotel looks new or well redecorated with very nice furniture, bathrooms and paint. Helpful owners, too. This is one of a series of hotels just off the I-5 in Carlsbad - their names reference Legoland, but none of them are really next door to Legoland. Room was in great condition. I did not expect granite counters, crown molding, and nicely appointed bathroom.

I have stayed at this hotel before. It's a good basic needs motel next to the Interstate. Rooms are comfortable with fridge and microwave. It's generally quiet. Carpets could use replacement.

I was very dissatisfied with the quality of the hotel. The hotel office stank like exotic food. The customer service was horrific. The staff never changed clothes and maybe never took showers. This is a low cost and low amenity hotel. Room and furniture are old and tired. If you want a bed with a TV and nothing else, this will do.
