This hotel was perfect for us! We were greeted by extremely friendly employees and offered fresh coffee upon our arrival. We were very impressed at how clean the hotel was and it is 100% non-smoking. Although we don't have pets, this is a pet friendly hotel. Stayed on 1st floor in a room for pets. Strong smell of insecticides. A little heavy!

Clean and plenty of room. The manager was very friendly and helpful.

/Breakfast was rather skimpy. We went elsewhere.

The staff was terrific!! Very accomodating and friendly. We travel with dogs and the hotel was very dog friendly as well.

Mat under sheet didn't fit. When tired to fix it I discovered hair and beads. Very dirty. Phone had black prints on it. Lamp shade full of dust. Window pane broken. Window ledge had mold. They send up two people to clean the room. Wanted to leave but it was late at night and they cleaned up after I complained. Then they accused my dog of barking all […] night and said i would have to leave if he barked again. Not true. He barked a few times when we first checked in but slept thru the night. Hotel was excellent!!! Everyone was very friendly. Rooms very clean!!! Breakfast waffles very hot and fresh. You make your own waffles awesome.

We booked this room so we could bring our pet with us and this is a pet friendly hotel. The front desk reception was very polite and accomodating in regards to having a pet with us. We stayed on the first floor which seems to be "where" other pets stayed to because we could hear barking while in the hall. We worried that it would be noticable inside […] our room, but when we went into our room, we no longer heard any barking. The door to the outside was very convenient to take our dog out. St. Augustine La Quinta Great Pet friendly Place. Nice clean rooms, nice furnishings and up to date. Bathroom marble counters very pretty. Big tub and very hot water. This particiular hotel has all interior rooms. One thing about sll the La Quintas I have been to need a pet walking area.

My partner and I stayed at this property over the Labor Day weekend in a king room. The hotel was full to capacity yet we still found the staff to be very courteous. We appreciate this property in that it is pet friendly and we found the room to be clean. There was plenty of room in the bathroom counter to place toiletries. My only request would be […] different sheets on the beds. I found them to be low thread count and very scratchy in my opinion. Should we ever need to stay at a hotel again though in St Augustine, would definately stay here again. We skipped the complimentary breakfast but from what I could tell zipping by, it had the usual - cereal, juice, toast, bagels and you could make your own waffles. Læs mere

Excellent comfort and price for the business or lisure traveler.

Most of staff were very accomodating like Willie, however I initially checked-in with Victoria who was not very pleasant, after a long drive I was just looking forward to getting settled into my room. She didn't have a smile on her face, it was straight matter-of-fact do you have your license & credit card? Everyone has a bad day and I understand that. […] Other staff members made up for that initial interaction. Housekeeping staff were very friendly, gave extra towels when I asked. Generally speaking the hotel was immaculate and fairly quiet. The breakfast was pretty good. Waffle machine was terrific. Dining area was very clean. Pool area was nice & clean, they also had a jaccuzi which was heaven sent. Great location easy to navigate to all the sights, close to outlet stores. Would definately stay again. Læs mere

Overall, a very good place to stay. Clean & comfortable. A little noise in room over us, but the front desk addressed that and took care of it. Nice pool and hot tub. Would definitely stay there again.

Hotel was an excellent value. Covenient continental breakfast. Usual bagels, waffles, fruit, etc. Very Clean rooms and very helpful staff. Even cleaning staff were very accomodating. About 5 miles from Trolley Tours and Town. Not a big deal!

The hotel was extremely clean & well maintained. The staff was terrific and always looking to help. I would stay here again & again without any hesitations.

The hotel was very nice, i was very satisfied with my experience. The room was clean and spacious. The staff was friendly. Convinent because its right off I-95 in a quiet area, also lots of anemities near by. My son and I had an excellent stay - Keith at the front desk was very helpful and Willie was very knowledgeable about the area. It was really close to the outlet mall. The only downside was it's a bit of a drive to go to the downtown historic attractions but that is the only negative I can say. Everything else was great!

Very enjoyable stay. Only critical comment pertains to the dining area which can become crowded when the hotel is at near or full capacity.

I'm a "cracks & crevices" kind of person, so in those areas I'd have to say they need some help. The elevator was hot & muggy, as was the hall when we got off and our room. The worst part of the stay, no pressure in the shower. Totally a personal preference thing so I wouldn't hold something like that against the hotel at all. Breakfast consisted of […] the usual high carbs, but then most hotels do. The woman working at the front desk was VERY friendly and helpful with info about the area. It was in a convenient area, easy to find and access. Also felt like a safe place to be, that means a lot! Overall our stay was a good experience. Would we stay again? The hotel was quiet and very clean. It was right off the main highway. It was also close to chain restaurants. The drive into downtown St. Augustine was a few minutes away and with great parking available at a minimal cost, the hotel location was fine. I would definitely stay there again.

I enjoyed my stay and would stay there again. It is away from the main sights, but they are easy to reach. It is convenient to I-95. My room was clean and quiet. I particularly liked the fact that there was a big grassy area nearby to walk my dog.

I normally love the La Quinta chain, but I was disappointed with this location. Check-in and service at the desk was typical. Rooms were less than par, everything felt damp...and there was mold around the window and in the shower. We almost changed rooms but my parents were staying across the hall from us and their room was the same (I figured it was […] not going to get anything better). The next morning we had breakfast (less than exciting- cereal, bagles, waffles...carbs, carbs carbs, a banana would have been nice) and as we were walking back to our room the maid service stopped us and handed us clean towels and asked that we put the dirty one in the hall. I didn't really think to much about this until we came back to the hotel later that evening to see our room had not been cleaned. Of course, we complained at the front desk. The told us "you accepting the clean towls means you declined a cleaning for the day". This is unacceptable. How am I suposed to know that accepting the towels means no cleaning? They practically shoved the towels into my arms. It would have been nice if the cleaning people had ASKED. I guess looking back this is partially my fault, but I am still disappointed. We had a wonderful two-night stay at La Quinta! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was lovely and clean with a refringerator and microwave as nice extras. The continental breakfast was more than we expected. You could make homemade waffles or choose assorted cereals and fruit. They had hard-boiled eggs, along with pastries and coffee, […] tea and juices. The pool was in pristine condition. We got lost on the way from Anastasia Island and were late checking out. The lady at the desk was so nice and told us there was no problem and to stop stressing! I would highly recommend this hotel to visitors. It is a short drive to the historic attractions and the beach, and is very reasonably-priced! way to go staff at La Quinta!!!! Læs mere

The room was nice and comfortable, but the bathroom was disgusting. It needs a good scrubbing with Bleach. It looks like they mopped the center of the floor. The bathroom had at least a 3inch border of dirt.

The room was really clean and the staff was helpful. The only problem at midnight there were kids running up and down the hallway making loud noises. That was because the parents wasn't supervising their kids. Otherwise I enjoyed my stay!

Hotel location was great rght off I-95. Rooms were clean, shower, nice hot water, iron and iron board in room. Rooms was cleaned daily. Free breakfast daily, very nice variety of foods, front desk stafff courteous and helpful, Overall good stay, will definiately refer others. Only odd thing is our room was on he third floor where the curtains do no […] completely close; at night the flood lights from the ground floor shined into the room which made it very bright. I have stayed at many LaQuinta's with less expensive room rates and have been more satisfied. The desk employees were very courteous and friendly, however when we checked into our room I immediately noticed that someone had spilled a large bottle of nail polish on the floor of the bathroom. It was dried and had obviously been there for a little while. […] I advised the desk manager, not because it necessarily bothered me so much, but I didn't want to be charged for the damage. His response was "Oh yeah that was from the prior guest and we haven't had a chance to clean it up." Really? Then why make the room available? He did not offer another room, and other than that the room was clean. I was too tired to move my stuff for a one night stay, but it would have been nice to have him offer another room. The breakfast in the morning was okay. Standard faire, bagels, waffles, pastries, cereal, and something that looked kind of like eggs and sausage. Meehhh. Nice hotel, clean, breakfast was adequate. Staff was helpful and friendly. Only drawback was that it had no good restaurant within walking distance, but it does have a couple of fast food joints and a gas station nearby. It was easy to get to the hotel and the drive into St. Augustine was not too far.
