"Good stay in Riverhead"
My husband, two kids (6&7) and I stayed for a couple of nights. We had a very good time, (the room was comfortable and clean).except for two things. First, we specifically chose this hotel because of the indoor pool. We were enjoying the pool when a group of young boys came diving in and splashing around. One of their mothers pulled out a bag of balls […] and we repeatedly were hit. We got out of the pool and we're dressing when a hotel employee came over to tell us that the group of boys were there for a private birthday party. We kept being hit with balls as we attempted to dress, but we left before we were through. I informed the employeee that we should have been notified beforehand, so we could have cleared out prior to the party. All she said was, "Oh sorry" and walked away, leaving us to get hit over and over again. Second, if you come at night, it is really hard to catch the entrance. The hotel sign is not lit up. We missed it and had to go about 1/2 mile around to get back. Læs mere

"Ok for the price"
Staff was nice enough but the first room they put us in had a cockroach in the shower! They immediately moved us to a new room which seemed clean, but didn't offer a discount on the night which I thought was odd.
"Shopping and Wine Tour Hotel"
Excellant Hotel and location. Close to the outlet mall and the wine country. If you want to take a wine tasting tour you can book it at the hotel. The vans are located there and the tour includes box lunch and breakfast thwe following day. Staff was friendly and helpful, didn't eat there but they do have a restaruant.

"Lovely hotel with great customer service"
The hotel is bright clean and very welcoming. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. We had the King whirlpool room which was great!! The only detraction was that the hotel had the pesty little (tiny) fruit flies that were extremely annoying...and confusing because the room and the halls were immaculate.
"The Hilton in Riverhead NY"
The room was very nice until I saw large roach crawling around in bathroom,then I became uneased with something crawling into our bags.This disturbed me greatly since I HATE roaches. Was convienent to family we were visiting.Didn't eat there unsure about bugs.The bed was comfortable.Maybe would consider trying again.

"First Class"
The hotel was definitely first class... and unfortunately the price per night reflected this. The room was so nice that my girlfriend wanted to take pictures. The only downside was the cost, but hey, you get what you pay for...

"NICE HOTEL - EAT ELSEWHERE"
THE HOTEL WAS MODERN, FRESH AND COMFORTABLE. THE HOTEL STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY AND THEY REMEMBERED YOUR NAME - IMPRESSIVE. FOOD SERVICE NOT THE BEST. BREAKFAST TOOK TOO LONG TO BE SERVED AND WAS OK NOT GREAT. THE BUFFET WOULD HAVE BEEN THE BETTER CHOICE.
"A Good Value and a pleasant surprise"
For the area this hotel was a great value. Fairly new, very clean, great parking, easy access. I had read a previous review and agree that you cannot trust your GPS to get you there. You need to go about 2 miles further up the road (from the direction that I was going). It IS across from the Tanger Outlets. Room was perfect. Did not try the pool but […] wish that I had. Food was unpredictable. I had a late dinner and sat at the bar. My meal was not very good. Fish was too spicy, broccoli tasted like reheated several times. Same for potatoes. And no bread with meal. However breakfast was great. It was a combination of buffet and service and could not have been better. Would definitely go back to this hotel and might give it a second chance at dinner. Læs mere

"Overall very good, but..."
Such a clean nice hotel. My only gripes are that it was my wedding night and we were looking forward to and booked the room with the whirlpool tub. Which was beautiful and clean...but the jets didn't work. Bummer. Also, the "business center" didn't have any working printers and one of the two computers crashed while we were using it. We joked that it […] was the "going out of business" center. Great for going to wineries and outlets, not great for business. Bring your computer and printer with you. I came to NY for my grandson's pre school graduation and totally enjoyed myself. The hotel is convenient for me and also has everything that I need when I spend time with him, We enjoyed the pool and whirlpool, eatting at the restaurant and in our spacious room. Thank you for a great time.

The hotel is fine and the bed was fantastic, but both my GPS and the map on Hotels.com placed the hotel about 3/4 mile down the road from where it actually is. I had to ask directions from a different hotel. The clerk there knew, before I mentioned the name of the hotel, which hotel I was looking for. She said it always happens. "Hilton Garden Inn (Riverhead)"
Convenient for stayover in Long Island Norh Fork wine country. Indoor pool was nice but kids "took over". Hot tub was adequate but not overly satisfying. Otherwise, the hotel was clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. Would stay again.
This is the best hotel i have ever stayed. Food are good, People are friendly and the room is clean and nice. The tanget Outlet is just cross the street from the Hotel.

I liked this hotel mainly because it was clean and had an indoor pool. The down side is the beds, they were very hard and extremely uncomfortable. The pillows were too big I have a neck ache. But the staff was nice and the overall place was very well kept.
