Fint mellemklasse hotel med venligt og serviceminded personale. Havde pænt stort og lyst værelse med god udsigt over Chinatown - nød solopgang over byen fra værelset. Servicen helt i top og værelset altid rent og pænt. Centralt for Subway til både Uptown og Downtown Manhattan. Gå afstand til Brooklyn Bridge, Ground Zero, Wall Street, SoHo, Chelsea mv […] . Tre minutters gang til Little Italy. Placeringen midt i Chinatown ikke så spændende i længden - snavset og meget gadestøj, der også trængte ind på værelset - ørepropper et must! Morgenmaden intet hit, men godt at kunne få på hotellet, da der kun var kinesisk mad at vælge imellem i umiddelbar nærhed. Læs mere

Vi havde et godt ophold på hotellet. Ligger super godt ift. Chinatown, LittleItaly, Soho mm. Tæt på Metro. Pænt, rent og nyrenoveret. Fint værelse i god størrelse. Fuldt tilfreds, kan anbefales.

Fint morgenmadshotel centralt beliggende, men i China Town. Gode værelser og betjening. Lidt kedelig morgenmad og en for lille morgenmadsrestaurant.

God beliggenhed i forhold til hele Lower Manhattan. Rent, pænt, trygt - og ok pris.

Fin beliggenhed på det sydlige Manhatten tæt på Canal street og lige mellem Little Italy og China town. Vi kommer tilbage på det hotel næste gang vi besøger NYC.

Hotellet ligger i et dejligt, roligt kineser-kvarter, tæt på Spring st. og Prince st. som er hovedgaderne for god shopping. Hotellet var indrettet pænt og moderne, og var meget billigt i forhold til hvad man kunne forvente af et sådant størrelse værelse (værelserne er generelt små i NY, men det her var HELT i orden). Vi havde ingen problem med støj […] fra gaden, som vi ellers havde hørt, men det var formentlig fordi vi boede på 9. etage. Det eneste dårlige ved værelset var, at radiatoren på lavede nogle underlige lyde indimellem, men det vænnede vi os til - det var det mindste der kunne være i vejen. Morgenmadsbuffeten på hotellet var over al forventning. Ikke sagt at der var alt hver hjertet begærede, men der var både cereal, havregrød, bagels, vafler, æg, juice, mælk, kaffe, frugt, hvilket vi slet ikke forventet. Vi vil varmt anbefale Best Western Bowery Hanbee Hotel på Grand St. - man skal dog tage i mente, at vi var derovre i en ikke-tourist-periode (jan./feb.), og at vi fik 30% på hotellet, men man kan være heldig igen... Dårligt støjende hotel. Ikke pengene værd- eneste plus er beliggenhed.

To voksne og to børn boede på hotellet i en uge i maj 2010. I forhold til hotellets pris var standarden meget fin. Høj rengøringsstandard, velholdt værelse med bad, toilet, sikkerhedsboks, tv og gratis trådløst internet. God beliggenhed i Chinatown, med masser af indkøbs og spisemuligheder. Trygt og trygge omgivelser. Serviceminded betjening. Morgenmad […] inkluderet og ikke noget særligt, men ok. Til prisen var hotellet klart over forventning. The room was very clean and service of the employees was very nice. It is close to 2 subways - very convenient (1 block & 2 blocks). I'll stay again.

The location is great. It's close to the B-R Metro station but you have to walk a bit to the 6 line. The room was beautiful, roomy (at NYC standards) and quiet. Most of the crew (except one incident) was very helpful. This incident makes me give those 4 instead of 5 stars in this aspect. There was an iron in the room and the bathroom was modernly designed. There […] was a LCD TV in the room but the reception wasn't stable. The breakfast was fine. There is WIFI access in the room. There are two internet workstations in the lobby which was great since I didn't bring my laptop with me. My only real complaint is the mattress quality which was much too soft IMO. Great location! One block from DiPalo's famous cheese & meat deli! Two blocks from Ferrara's pastries & gelato's! China town food all around! Bow wow wow!! Close to BPC and Tribecca & Soho! Take a bite of the "Big Apple "!!

I arrived several hours before check-in from a red-eye flight just so I could drop my luggage ... (now I'm not saying everyone should expect this) Hugh, working the front desk, was very hospitable and said I could help myself to the breakfast service in progress. I would say one of the best in its price range if you want to be in the area (lower east side). Not fancy, but rooms and bathrooms are considerably larger than many boutique hotels. Shame about the paper cups, no glasses available!

This hotel is located in Chinatown, so obviously its not for everyone. However, being in the Lower East Side is definitely a plus if you are coming to NYC for nightlife. You are only minutes away from SoHo, NoHo, East/West Village, and Little Italy. The LES, has grown to become the "hot spot" in NYC so this hotels' location was perfect for me. The rooms, especially the beds are super comfortable. And that is all you need! While its true it is lacking the amenities that I am used to in higher star hotels, I was able to book a large group and fit 4 to a room, cutting down our tour budget considerably. Great price for a very decent hotel in New York. Good location-2 subway stops within walking distance. It was nice to have internet & breakfast included in price of hotel, which is rare in NY. Our room was clean & comfortable. The staff was friendly. Highly recommended!

Bring a ear plug. The wall is thin and kids are running around all day and night. You can hear all buzzing outside even during late night.

The hotel offers free wireless internet connection, thats great but it is extremly slow (almost useless). Breakfast is included but after 2 days you would like a more interesting breakfast.

My stay was relatively short. One day, one night. Everything was perfect from the customer service to the cleanliness and comfort. The shower was amazing lol. I would stay here again.

Thia is my new favorite Hotel. The room is a good size, very good free breakfast, free internet, very convenient location for the subway and resturants. The price was 40% less than midtown. This will be my new first choice for future NY business trips.

If you like Chinatown this is a good hotel, nothing special, but clean and with spacious rooms. Service was good but nothing exceptional. I would only book again if I really need to stay in the middle of Chinatown.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights in Dec. 2011 and was travelling alone. The hotel was convenient to the downtown area I was interested in visiting and was very, very comfortable. The room was small, but big enough for one to two people to fit comfortably. Very clean and I was glad there were no carpets. Heated bathroom floor was a nice touch. Walking distance to Chinatown and Little Italy. Many restaurants and bars near by. Open market on Saturday morning was neat.

I have never stayed in Chinatown or LITTLE ITALY. My family and friends thought I was crazy. But it was the best experience I had of staying in Manhattan. It was literally in the middle of Chinatown and Little Italy. We could walk everywhere from here. We walked to SoHO, Tribeca, West Village and Greenwich Village. We walked in the morning and late […] in the evening and felt safe. Everyone in the hotel was exceptionally accommodating. My biggest complaint was the traffic noise. All night I could hear every car driving by outside. The horns started blaring at 5:45 AM. And the last night we were there they were using a jack hammer outside from 10:30PM until 3AM. Did not get much sleep. Otherwise, the location was good. Rooms were small, but a good size by Manhattan standards.

The hotel room was ready early enough for me to check in by 2p, and, although it smelled a little stale, the management put a deodorizing machine in the room that took care of the problem right away. We were upgraded a floor, too. The TV does not have a guide channel, so upon request, the front desk sent up a channel guide, but no show guide available […] (but who's there to watch TV?) I enjoyed the variety at breakfast, and the lobby computers, but it was mainly the value of the property, and the super kind employees that impressed me. My tip to other travelers is to make sure you don't get on an express subway train when your intended stop is a local stop. Staying in the middle of Chinatown/Little Italy gives a great perspective to Manhattan. Great access to NoHo, SoHo, Greenwich, Tenement Museum, and, with a bit of a walk - to South Seaport, Wall St., etc. The subway is a block away if walking the streets of NYC is not your thing. Rooms are not huge, but fully adequate. Clean.

The ratings I gave it don't begin to reflect how good it is -- for the money. A perfectly fine hotel, in an acceptable location, for a great price. I'll stay there again.

I am from NYC but now live in Seattle. I usually stay with friends when I am in town, but this time my plans fell through. I panicked, because I know that hotels in the city are insanely expensive, and cheaper ones are filthy and gross. I was SO pleased to find this reasonably priced Best Western! I don't understand anyone who says this isn't central--you can be at any main site in about 20 minutes! My room was super clean and quiet and the free breakfast is great!
