Nyt og fint motel med god service. God morgenmad. Fint beliggende med ca 15 min til Portland centrum. Rigtig godt til prisen

Homewood Suites by Hilton Portland ligger i Scarborough og er tæt på Maine Mall, Sable Oaks Golf Course og Scarborough Downs. Ekstra attraktioner i omegnen er bl.a. University of Southern Maine og Portland Museum of Art.

We travel extensively and this is one of the best values and overall hotel experiences we have had. We usually stay only at 5 star hotels so I was a little apprehensive when booking. So glad that I went ahead. Front desk staff were friendly and competent. Cleanliness of grounds, room and public areas were top notch. Breakfast was better than most, even […] chain restaurants that I have been forced to endure at times. They also offer free dinner Mon -Thurs that we did not have a chance to try but based on the supplied menu would be greatly appreciated by any traveler for the convenience and added value. Læs mere

"Homewood Suites in Maine- Didn't meet expectations"
I got a room for the weekend so my girlfriend and I could have a nice getaway romantic weekend away. We enjoyed my overall stay here but there were a few things that I didn't like about it. We stayed in a room where the sink's garbage disposal didn't work so when we ran the dishwasher the sink backed up and was really nasty. We called the front desk […] to ask for extra towels for our room and we had to call back a half hour later because they didn't bring any the first time we called. "Very nice"
My family (kids aged 3, 9, and 11, hubby and I) stayed here for a couple of nights while visiting the Portland area. We chose this hotel over all others mainly because of the fact that there is a stovetop and fridge in the room, giving the opportunity to prepare meals. With three kids and a tight budget, going out for meals was not really an option. […] The kitchen in the room was great! Just enough for us to prepare some light, easy meals. As for the rest of the room, we had a king-sized bed, a fold out couch, and requested a roll-away cot for my son. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were awesome. The shower was HUGE, and everything was spotless! The Neutrogena products were much appreciated! Only 2 slightly negative things I would have to say. The first was the temperature fluctuations in the room. If we turned the thermostat down it was like the air conditioner was on. If we turned it up, it was blowing heat. We had to keep adjusting and readjusting....who knows, could have been user error! The second thing was breakfast. I was slightly disappointed in the offerings. The first day we were there, they had mini omelets with cheese, bacon and potatoes, along with all the othere standard fare--bagels, cereal, oatmeal. Not too bad, but hard to keep hot. The next day was breakfast sandwiches and tater tots, which were awful. My son, however, loved the cheerios and went back for 3 bowls. We will definitely go back to this hotel if we decide to do another trip to portland. Next time though we will probably just make breakfast in the room. Læs mere
"Nice hotel, very relaxing"
We recently visited Maine for a weekend of rest and relaxation and this hotel certainly fit the bill. Nice clean rooms, delicious breakfast, and great pool facility. We would recommend Homewood Suites anytime!

"Grateful"
My husband and I stayed for a week ar HS in Portland ME and it was really the most pleasant, clean and accomodating motel stay we have experienced. What was especially nice were the complamentary breakfast and dinners provided to guests. We had a difficult time with connecting flight out of Philly so by the time we checked in we were both worn out and […] hungry.To our delight, dinner was just down the hall, and suddenly our vacation took a turn for the better. "Convenient and nice amenities"
We stated here for two nights toward the end of our honeymoon. It was great to have access to the pool and hot tub which were open whenever we wanted to go. The suite was furnished with a full refridgerator, cooktop and microwave which was great because we could save the cost of eating out. A full breakfast was served daily and apparently during the […] week dinner was also available. The bed was comfortable and there were a variety of pillow types to suit any need. "Excellent hilton Hotel"
Everything was wonderful. Tfront desk staff were very helpful and friendly. The accomodations made us feel like we were right at home. The free breakfasts and suppers were truly wonderful. The diningroom staff who prep the meals were the nicest people ever. So welcoming, so warm and friendly. What a great hotel! A great bargain for the price. Clean, spacious and comfortable rooms with a wonderful breakfast buffet. Will definitely stay there again!
"Great place"
We stayed here for one night on our way through and I honestly wish we could have stayed longer. The location is perfect for shopping and the room itself was clean, comfortable and quiet. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely be staying here again.

"Very clean and comfortable stay"
This hotel was probably the best hotel that is in the Portland area. Location was excellent. It was close to the Maine Mall, dining and the interstate. The rooms were clean and comfortable- even decorated nicely. The pool and hot tub was fantastic and the hot breakfast the next day was even better. Everyone was very nice and check in and check out was […] easy. Howevere it would've been nice to have the sheets and blankets aleady put on the pull out couch- it was kind of a hassle to do that late at night. And we also couldn't find another garbage can (other than in the bathroom) and it would've been handy to have on in the kitchem maybe. But overall the hotel has real quality. Læs mere
