I could care less about the dated decor and bathroom but the beds were horrible, pillows awful and, the floor was so uneven it was difficult to walk on. Whenever someone in another room used their water it was horribly loud in our room, startling so. The neighborhood surrounding the motel was rundown and almost scary. The room was okay. When I walked in, it was freezing cold and it took a while to warm up after I figured out how to turn on the heat. The room was a pretty standard room, about what I would expect for the price. The main issue I had is that I was in a room directly across from the neighbouring Burger King drive-up window. I was probably about 20 feet […] from it, actually. So all night, I could hear loud diesel vehicles pulling up, then the loudspeaker from the order window, and this was all day from about 7 AM to 11 PM. Then after it closed, a group of guys (probably about 3-4 of them) were drinking outside and yelling until about 1 AM. Granted, this isn't the hotel owner's fault, but it certainly made the stay less comfortable and relaxing. I think I will stay in another hotel the next time I'm in La Grande. Læs mere

While traveling on a budget, there are only a few things I hope for when booking an economy-rate motel: that the bed is comfortable, the room clean, and hopefully, the staff are at least helpful. The rooms were very clean, a little smaller than I expected. I stayed here to spend time with my daughter is going to college in La Grande. The hotel staff gave us glares when my daughter came over with a few of her friends and to swim in the pool with us. Then when we asked for an extra towel, they informed us that they supplied us towels in our room […] and that they normally do not give extra towels. They did give us one, but made us feel guilty for asking. I guess they had to wash more towels from the swimming and the one extra and was not happy about it. Læs mere

Can't believe you actually recommend this place. It is sooo bad. It is run down, and looked like an absolute dump from outside to inside. Plus the tiny lobby smelled like cigarettes. Eating breakfast buffet in this unwelcoming place was not an option.

The rooms are small!!! Everytime you walked around the bed your head would hit the hangers and it sounded like bad wind chimes. There is a Burger King right next door, so food is close, but you can hear cars at the drive thru if you're on that side. Place is extremely old, small and cramped with a drive in restaurant at the door. Breakfast was almost non-existent and there is no place to eat. this hotel was a total rip off but for the price of a decent hotel. We have never paid so much for a old hole.

Pleasant town and the hotel was very convenient to the freeway and Hwy 30 leading into downtown. Reasonable price for location.

It was what we expected for the money. Sorry but the sheets on one bed was wet, but they gladly came and changed them when we told them. It was outdated and a little run down. Pool looked like it needed painting. People there at the desk was friendly.

Check in was quick and easy. Clean room that was fairly comfortable, but cramped and slightly outdated. But it worked and we've seen much much worse so we were happy. We wanted some extra pillows and towels, so we asked the front desk and they sent housekeeping right over. The staff was really friendly and attentive and helpful. This is a very basic hotel. It was quiet , not updated at all, 1 lumpy pillow per person and the continental breakfast starts at 7am. No coffee pot in room and if you want to be able to park by your room you better get there early as there are only a couple of spots close to the building otherwise you will park on the other side of the pool with no […] visual of you vehicle. If you are looking for a place to sleep for a couple of hours for cheap then this is the place but if you are planning on staying longer it would be worth the drive to go to another city for a better place to stay. I think this is the worst hotel "On Hotel . com' that we have stayed in, if it was not for the fact that NO REFUNDS were the rule then I would have said NO WAY will I stay in this Hotel. There was not one thing that worked eg: Swimming pool was inoperative, the ice machines were inoperative and the Continental Breakfeast was the worst that I had seen. […] Roadway Inn should be ashamed to put their name on this place. It was clean and well maintained and within walking distance of places to eat. There's a gas station/Burger King next door but it didn't bother me. I was able to park my bike right outside the door. The owner helped me with mechanical problem with my bike in the morning. The town is nice.

Convenient, Quite, Friendly Staff, Got what I paid for if you are looking for no frills and a clean quite place to sleep.

The room was neat and fairly clean BUT....was small, unattractive, and had a tiny fridge and a microwave that I had to carry to a table to plug in and use. The fixture holding the main light was broken. The room was located next to a driveway for a drive-through restaurant, so traffic late at night was noisy.

Hôtel vétuste, manque d'entretien évident,manque de place dans la chambre .L'électricité est à revoir lorsque nous éteignons la lumière principale les prises de courant ne sont plus alimentées et bien d'autres choses sur le sujet électrique .Heureusement la ville de La grande mérite d'être connue.Elle a gardé son style des année 60
