Nice breakfast, nice people, nive room, nice rooftop! - hard to find the hotel - need better map and info on website - especially on what train station to exit from. Be careful - there are three train stops in Pompeii. They are not on the same train line and only one stop is right in front of the hotel. Directly across from Circumvesuviano's Naples to Poggiomarino station in Pompei. Hotel has heat pump style air conditioning that lets you choose between air conditioning and heating. Pompeii ruins are an easy walk and there are numerous restaurants nearby. The hotel can find a car and driver if you do need or want one.

We liked our stay at this hotel because the bus stop was across the street easy to get to all of the main sites. We were told to stay a bit out side of the main tourist areas to get the real Italian experience. I would agree as there are so great local restaurants around the hotel. The hotel staff was friendly and assisted us with information on restaurants and bus/train information. The breakfast was good with lots of selection. Immaculate hotel, had a spacious room with a balcony. Central location, just five minutes walk to the ruins and one minute to the town square. Looks classy inside, outside and the roof terrace, with a jaccuzi, has stunning views of the city and Vesuvius itself. Staff impecable. Wish we could have towed it aroung Italy with us.

This hotel is right across the street from the 2nd train stop in Pompeii , to bad Expedia didnot includ this info with our reservation . We ended up getting off at the 1 st stop paid 20e for taxie which we waited for 30 min after train staff phone The hotel was hosting a large party, so they gave us their worst room, you could see by the staffmember […] faces that they knew that . Our Room was Like a small box with one window 20ft up so you could look out it. The shower was so small my 6ft husband barely fit in and the water was cold. The positives: beautiful roof top deck,central to everything tourist stuff and dining. Really friendly staff, little English included breakfast, but not. Great. If you want to stay in a run down hotel, eat rotten fish and fight a rude lady who is more concerned with having her 45th cigarette of the day then helping you, stay here. A lot of smoke and mirrors here. GREAT location for Pompeii. Clean and really much more than we expected. great if you have a car and exploring other areas. and the roof deck made a nice retreat after a long day of exploring. also right in front of the train station if you plan on hitting other cities. staff is VERY helpful. I was SO impressed with the hotel and staff and price.

we found the hotel, staff and facilities to be amazing. our room had a balcony and was large in comparision to others in Italy. the hotel is situated in the centre of Pompei and only five mins walk to ruins. we stayed an extra night which cost very little and will definitly visit this hotel again.

Generally very good: the breakfasts were a little hit and miss - plates were not replenished when empty, so some mornings there was little choice. The hotel advertised both dinners and lunches, but on occasion the dining room was closed. The staff were very helpful, but had limited English, which made matters complicated sometimes. Loved this hotel and the staff. Could not have asked for more. The staff were so helpful and friendly. One of the guests was unwell and we were so impressed how kind and considerate they staff were. Stayed here on our way from the Amalfi coast back to Rome. Great location, very friendly staff, very knowledgeable of area. Great location for visiting the ancient ruins. Hotel was in the midst of some renovation but still very clean and would not hestitate to return or recommend this hotel to family and friends.

We stayed for 6 nights from 9th to 14th October 2011.We had rooms next to the roof garden ! The rooms were tastefully furnished.The bathroom was fully tiled with a jacuzzi bath,shower attatchment.Both bedroom and bathroom was spotlessly clean. I had a magnificent view of the Mount Vesuvius and the city of Pompei from my window.The bed was comfortable […] with good reading lamps on either side. The staff,Rita,Lydia and others were very helpful,friendly and spoke good English.The location was good,next to train stations,city centre,the great Piazza with magnificent Cathedral and ten minute walk to the Ampitheatre gate of the Pompei ruins ! Obviously a bit noisy with Cathedral bells starting at 7 am, ,noise of passing trains,cars,fireworks, and the hotel lift going up and down late into the night.However this didn't bother me too much. What we thought could be improved was the breakfast ! The only hot item on offer was tea or coffee.Cooked breakfast was not on the menu. On asking one could get soft boiled eggs but no hot toasts.The only toasts were the rusk type in sealed packets ! At least 6 types of cakes,croissants,cereals,slices of ham,cheese,salami,bread rolls were on offer. Fresh fruits were mostly Pomegranate, a few apples and dry-looking oranges. I think a hot breakfast should be on offer as it makes a good start to the day,especially as most of us were out sightseeing/walking all day ! A really lovely place to stay right next to the small station of Pompei (not the station closest to the ruins - Pompei Scavi - but near enough to walk to.) Room was spacious, with 2 balconies. Very helpful staff, we need their help with trips and selection of food. We had a top floor room very clean and comfortable. Spa bath grate after sightseeing. Right opposites the rail station in Pompeii Centre, near a big church and not far from the ruins. We visited Vesuvius and the Almalfie coast. The Hotel had a roof top garden with hot tub that […] was not working but we did not have time to use it. Good breakfast, we had dinner on our first night which was good. The staff, the ENTIRE staff were very friendly and helpful. They were very helpful with informing us about things to see and the easiest way to get there. They made special meals for us in their kitchen which were delicious, and they tried very hard to make sure that we were comfortable and happy. This was the best stay during our tour of italy. Wonderful staff, location perfect- not near the scavi circumversuvious- the other stop!- restaurant was nice, breakfast was a feast!- check out the roof top for romance.

We stayed here for 4 nights in Pompeii and used it as a base to do various day trips in the area. It's very close to a train station, a beautiful church and the Scavi. The staff was so wonderful and helpful - always going above and beyond to help me and my family with travel, ideas, etc. The "boss man" is typical Italian and my kids loved listening […] to his interactions... fun and entertaining! I was unfortunate to be taken ill during my stay in Italy, and my wife and I found all the hotel staff, without exception, to be genuinely caring and helpful. L'hotel palma est super bien situé. Il se trouve en plein centre ville à 10 minutes à pied des ruines de Pompei. Valentino et son equipe m'ont tres bien reçu et sont d'une grande gentillesse. Les chambres sont spacieuses et décoré avec gout.

Hotel bem localizado, mas ele ta mais para 3 estrelas, o ar condicionado dos quartos estava fraco para o verão da italia. O banheiro com um cheiro de mal lavado. Mas quarto bom tamanho , e varanda.

Direkt an der Bahnstation gelegen und in unmittelbarer Nähe der Ausgrabungsstätten. Für uns war der reservierte Parkplatz vor dem Hotel sehr angenehm. Weniger schön war die im Hotelprospekt angegebene Sauna, in der wir uns wegen des schlechten Wetters gerne abends aufgewärmt hätten - sie ist nur im Sommer (!) in Betrieb. Auch auf die "herzhaften" Frühstücker […] wurde Rücksicht genommen, Für archäologisch Interessierte eine empfehlenswerte Unterkunft. Læs mere

O hotel é muito bem localizado, inclusive, em frente a estação do trem. Fui muito bem recebida, o quarto é espaçoso, e o café da manhã também é muito bom! Sem qualquer reclamação! Recomendo!
