Vi havde et super godt ophold det eneste lille minus var beliggenheden som var lidt langt væk fra centrum. Det er dog nemt med metro og området er i udvikling.

Pænt og rent hotel med meget venlig service og med engelsktalende personale. Morgenmad dog for dyrt og derfor spiste vi det ude i byen.

Hotel Confortel er et rigtigt dejligt Hotel der er i top klasse, eneste minus var afstand til metro ( 10 min til fods ) og prisen på mad, denne findes dog inden for 100 meter til havl pris, jeg ville klart vælge Confortel igen.

Rigtig godt hotel med god beliggenhed udenfor centrum. Masser af caféer og restauranter lige om hjørnet, hvor der er mulighed for morgenmad. Morgenmad på hotellet koster 15 euro pr. person. Parkering på hotellet koster 15 euro pr. døgn.

Da vi endelig fandt hotellet var det super lækkert, og vi havde en rigtig god udsigt fra 7! Kan varmt anbefales - dog er kortet lidt upræcist så man skal ikke regne for meget med placeringen når man skal finde hotellet :-)

Fin service og hotel. Sengene var dog hårde, og personalet ikke særlig skarpe i det engelske sprog. ellers et fint hotel

We stayed here for 5 nights and good service and great confort. The cost was very reasonable. The hotel has a good location (5 min from the beach by foot and about 45 min from La Rambla by foot). Actually the hotel is next to a street called "new rambla" or something like that which has many interesting resturants, cafes etc.

Perfekt

Et godt hotel, med god service og mange gode ydelser. Hotellet er moderne, pænt og renligt (1 gang rengøring om dagen). God morgenmadsbuffet med stort varieret udbud. Tagområde med liggestole og pool (dog ikke så stort). 5 minutters gågang til stranden. Mig og min kæreste var meget tilfredse med hele vores ophold på Confortel Barcelona!

Dejligt med solterrasse og pool på taget og flot udsigt. Rigtig godt med det lille køleskab. Vi havde lidt grej med bla. elkoger så vi lavede selv morgenmad. Stort rummeligt værelse - store vinduer der kan åbnes så det føles næsten som en terrasse. Rigtig god seng :-) Dejligt at bo tæt på havet og stranden. Tilpas afstand til metro. I love Barcelona and I have spent 4 times at this wonderful hotel... Close to the beach. I rent a bicycle in town and from the hotel i drive to city along the beach. The rooms are spaceful and the service is great. I am very satisfied and wil keep comming to this hotel. Brian

Clean and big room with good furniture, close to cafes and few restaurants, walking distance to beach, view of beach from Balcony. Walking distance (about 20-30 minutes) to Port. reasobaly good breakfast. Friendly staff.

We picked this hotel based on good reviews on this site, it didn't disappoint. About a €16 taxi from the Sants train station, it's a big hotel so was easy to give directions. It's located very close to the beach (about a 5 min walk down a main street) and is only 3 blocks from a metro station which makes getting around the city very convenient. The […] rooms were clean and spacious with modern minimal furniture. Good hot water and the bed was pretty firm as well. When we accidentally threw out some important documents, the staff went dumpster diving and miraculously found our stuff, going way past our expectations. The neighborhood feels pretty safe and has a lot of families, locals and foreign, eating and drinking in the many restaurants around the place. The only bad points are the low strength wifi signal which made connecting phones a problem and the iffy service in the restaurant - but that's a minor gripe. Læs mere

free WIFI internet, clean room, close to bus stop and metro. especially a bit cheap price. but there is not any store and restaurante around the Hotel. so need to prepare all the things before getting to the hotel.

If you want to be near or in the loud tourist areas, this is not the hotel. This hotel is in a perfect quiet neighborhood of BCN. Beach is 10 min walk, metro station is within 5 min walk...so if you do desire to get out and about...take the metro as it runs all hours of the day and night. Close to metro and very modern. Was a nice stay, but avoid the food at the restaurant at all costs. It's much more worth it to venture out to surrounding restaurants. Got a room service pizza and it was cold in the middle (cheese not melted everywhere else). Had dinner and brekfast at the hote, dinner was poor but breakfast was a little better, however […] not worth 15€ per person! Waiter at dinner was inattentive and not very friendly. The hotel was clean, tidy and very modern. The gym was a bonus too. Our sheets had a rip in them, bed was hard. This hotel is value for money though, and I would return. Læs mere

We got a very good deal & it was excellent for the price we paid. It is a little away from the city center but very close to the beach, 10 min walk. The nearest metro station is about 7 min walk. There are decent restaurants & bars around it. The staff is friendly and hotel's ambience is nice.

A great hotel if if you want to spend time at the beach, a bit 'off' if you want to do the city. Liked the surroundings, the local Rambla around the corner with good restaurants. (Not many tourists in the area) Recommend breakfast at 'La Mar Bella' - good food, good service! i stay here frequently to visit friends in barcelona. i much prefer the quieter neighborhood and if you like poble nou, then this is mixture of value and comfort in the area

Great value for money. Comfort and cleanliness of hotel more than compensates for distance out of centre of town. Metro fairly close by so no problem.

I do not think I am asking much, but a hotel this large how is it possible that they do not have an Iron. We all travel for different reasons, business, leisure, as I consider myself very easy going, I just needed an Iron and they could not accommodate me. I am not asking to have one in every room, how hard is it to at least have one, just one!!!

The main advantage of the hotel is its location in Poblenou district - a charming little replica of Barcelona city center, just a small distance from the beaches (including a nudist one). The hotel owners pay a lot of attention to the details, but for myself it lacked character. The staff was politically correct but not too helpful. Breakfast in the […] hotel is quite pricey. Reasonable for the beaches and close to a small but vibrant Rambler of restaurants, bars and shops. About 2 miles from Barcelona Centre and the main Rambles. Very comfortable hotel, courteous staff, free bottled water. They seem to add conveniences freely r\ather than see an opportunity to charge, which gives that good feel. We grew to enjoy the hotel better the longer we stayed - 6 nights in total. First impressions were poor because of its location in the one-way system, the near-invisibility of the carpark entrance, the indifference of the check-in desk staff, and the confusion caused by idiosyncracies of the lift control system - it must have been easier to land a man […] on the moon than to get the lift to go to Floor 5! Pros: - Good location - quiet neighbourhood but conveniently close to the beach (5-10min walk) and the Poble Nou ramblas (2 min walk) with restaurants and cafes. Llacuna metro station is also 10 min walk from hotel, which is 3 stops from the Port Olimpico area and another couple of stops to Las Ramblas. - Nice amenities - in-house restaurant, if you're […] too lazy to wander out. Small rooftop pool overlooking the city and the sea. - Value for money - comfortable and large rooms for relatively cheap rates, free wi-fi internet access available in the rooms as well. - There are normally taxis waiting just outside the hotel Cons: - Some staff members a little brusque when dealing with you. - late checkout comes with a fee payable - room service only begins at 13.30 in the afternoon. Not ideal for a late breakfast - noisy air-conditioning in the room to the point of keeping us awake on the first night and disturbing our sleep on the remaining nights - niggling issues which, although small, affected the overall experience of our stay: e.g. despite staying there for 4 days and 3 nights, the shower gel and shampoo were only replaced once and one of the hand towels was removed on the first day without being replaced. It didn't help that there wasn't a proper place to put the soap bar which meant that the soap bar kept falling into the sink. Again, not ideal if the toiletries are only replaced once. One pointer to bear in mind, which we found out to our cost, is that, when taking taxis back to the hotel, make sure you tell the driver that it is the 'Hotel Confortel Barcelona' that you want and not just mention 'Hotel Confortel'. There are two other Confortel hotels in the city and neither are in convenient locations to get back to the right hotel. Læs mere

Good ratio price-quality.

Would stay again. Great hotel for the price. Roof terrace was great. Breakfast was also great, way above average. Bit outside the city centre, and not the most exciting neighbourhood, at least not part from the Poblenou street.

Just about perfect. The rooms are clean and reasonably large for Europe with a kind of Ikea decor that's very functional if not as cushy as North American hotels. Staff is courteous and more than helpful to the guests. The hotel is next door to an interesting neighbourhood with lots of sidewalk cafés and close to the Mediteranean. Me and my friend were looking for a nice hotel in Barcelona for ages and found a really good deal at Confortel. It had mixed reviews,but all the bad things you read are not true. Breakfast is very good, lots of different options to suit everybody's needs, true it's almost the same everyday, but good quality. Rooms are spacious, very neat and minimalistic […] in design and cleaned thoroughly everyday. Location is also good, not far from the tube and a taxi to city centre is only 10 euros. The hotel was quite nice and the breakfast was more than continental! The surrounding neighborhood is a little sleepy...we arrived on a Tuesday and wanted to go out for some drinks and paella around 8 pm and nothing was open. But once we figured out how to get to La Rambla we were fine. It was actually nice being a little off the path and a couple blocks […] from the ocean. This Hotel was really nice, clean, modern, staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely. everyone could find something for him/her. I did recomend to my frien already.

The hotel was great. Friendly staff , clean spacious rooms and a few freebies - internet , complimentary water etc. However it is not in the heart of the city. If you have time to commute via the metro ( which is a 5 minute walk ) it is fine. But like us if your off for an extended weekend you would want to stay more central and walk around town to […] get a true feel of the city. We enjoyed our stay in the Confortel, it is convientely located close enough to walk to the beach and very clean and modern. We were dissapointed that the internet is so slow.... and we would have liked a kettle in the bedroom...

Although this hotel was clean and convient to the marina, we found that the personel at the front desk did not speak English very well. Getting directions to the city center, or a resturant was difficult and frustrating for us and the hotel staff.

A few minutes from the metro station, the hotel is very modern and quite nice, this is a good base for a week-end in Barcelona. If you have a car, the hotel parking is a bit expensive (€17/day), and the access is not practical as there are a lot of one-way streets and traffic lights.
