Candlewood Suites Lincoln - Lincoln

It was what we expected and it satisifed our needs.

overall the room was clean and nice for the most part, however the pillows are small and lumpy. the heating system is a little weird also and we were too hot or too cold and the bed did not have enough blankets to just turn heat down as we prefer to do.

This was a very nice surprise. My room was big, with a great desk and wi-fi. I was in Lincoln for three days on business; the bed (and pillows) were very comfortable. Even the shower was great! I had a fridge with a some dishes which came in handy. The front desk folks were fantastic and I needed help with directions several times, and also asked for […] recommendations for dinner. My remote control for the TV didn't work so I took it to the front desk; when I went back to my room, I had a new remote, programmed and waiting for me. Thanks, Keli! The park across the street is beautiful and safe. Only downside - the University of Nebraska had a football game that weekend, and there were a LOT of rowdy folks from Michigan staying in my hotel. This is an extended stay hotel and we stayed for 8 days. There is no maid service. Towels need to be exchanged at the front desk and were not always available. The room had a kitchenette but we only used the fridge and coffee maker. The fridge compressor was very loud. The kitchen sink faucet was corroded and sprayed water. Both of these maint items […] were reported to the front desk but no action was taken. Our room was clean when we arrived. The hallway was not vacuumed very often. Staff were pleasant and friendly. There is a store in the lobby that stocks convenience store items suitable for small meals and snacks. Items were not overly priced. The beds were comfortable. We would actually rate this as 3.5. clean, comfortable, nice amenities

I slept so well and felt like I was on vacation! It was a gorgeous hotel and wish I would've known about it sooner!

This hotel is an extended suites hotel. No service during the week although the staff was friendly and as helpful as they could be but they seemed overwhelmed. Our room which was suppose to be non-smoking had a definite smoke smell to it. The staff "ionized" it while we were there but it did not seem to help to much. They only clean your room once a week. They have 10% discounts with some excellent restaurants nearby plus 10% off at the closest grocery store. They have a 2 burner stove top and a nice size refrigerator plus pans and utensils for an extended stay. They also provide a buffet dinner on Tuesday nights catered by one of the local restaurants. The hotel offers basic services. No bells and whistles.Staff was very nice.

awesome location and next to a lot of restaurants and grocery store . Also the hotel has partnered with some of the local businesses for a discount! Updated look to the room and the sink even had a garbage disposal! Only complaint was that everything was clean in the room except the bath tub, but that was an easy fix.
