The stay would have been great, but during my (4) day stay I had to change rooms twice. I was not very happy about he moves. The first move was because the people in the road above us was jumping and would not stop...I called the front desk twice about this matter. The second move was due to the flat screen TV not working... then the room they moved […] us to was the end next to the traffic. But maybe you will have better luck than I did. Læs mere

Hotel was clean-ish. Fresh food on our carpet floor, our chair & ottoman. Pool was not in good condition. Water in hot tub was a yellow & green tint and flooded with chlorine. It was burning our eyes. The windows behind the hot tub had mushrooms growing in it. My 11 year old saw the mold first and then discovered the mushrooms. The pool was not a safe […] enviornment as the adults were rough playing with their kids and took over the pool. The pool is much smaller than the photo. Our 9 year old was trampled into by one of the fathers and he didn't even flinch. Our floor had a room of unaccompanied minor girls who left their door open, TV cranked and the younger girls (middle school age) were running all over the hall way, climbing in the windows, in and out of elevators in their swim suits...this carried over into the early morning hours when we were awaken by these same little girls sprinting up and down the hallway. 2 complaints... Standing in line is part of life which we all don't like too much...I didn't complain about waiting my turn to check in....no mention of wifi code at check in. Got to my room and needed wifi...called front desk and was told to come back down and pick up code..went back and waited in line again. I did complain about that but they didn't […] much care. On top of this I had the great fortune of being roomed next to a high school girls basket ball team. I called the front desk and complained about the noise....got the obligatory were sorry chat. Around midnight I was awakened by the basketball couch banging on doors telling the kids to quiet down.....it's kind of funny now but at the time... I'd have to say the night shift clerk wasn't the brightest cookie in the box and should probably not be left alone to run the place....Other than that not a bad place to stay. Læs mere

Spent 3 nights during the Womens' Big Ten Basketball Tournament . Staff very helpful with direction to downtown. It only took 5 minutes to get there. Lots of restraunts nearby. Kids loved the pool and hot tub. breakfast was good and had variety of items. Plan to stay again when I take the grandkids to the Childrens' Museum and the ZOO again.

Took our grand kids for a birthday weekend. GreatTimes is just across the interstate so also had play time. Rooms are very nice size. Two king beds, refrig & microwave made it very nice. The only complaint I had was the speed of the computer in the business center. Swear it was dial-up???? Pool was really nice and clean, but did have an odd salty taste??? […] Breakfast was OK, ran out of gravy, kept bringing biscuits but never more gravy??? I have stayed at this hotel multiple times and would definitely recommend it!!!!!!!!!! Læs mere

This hotel was wonderful. Everyone was very nice and helpful. The room was much bigger and nicer than the average hotel room. It was right by the interstate, which was perfect for what we needed. The continental breakfast was delicious. We will definitely stay here again if given the opportunity and will absolutely reccommend this hotel to everyone […] . Læs mere

Large room, quiet, several HBO Chnls, one of the closer locations to Children's museum.

The location was clean and easy to get to. Hotel was clean and had a nice indoor pool and spa. Exercise equipment was mostly for cardio. Breakfast was very nice and fresh. Even the vending machines were reasonable. Only issue we had was with a sticky door lock which caused us to have to change rooms. This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in! The place is immaculant and the fact that every room has two king beds and a 42" flatscreen with satellite was icing on the cake. There was a huge breakfast bar and the staff were helpful and courteous. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. We had our 9 year daughter with us and she […] loved it as well. We stayed here during our sons baseball tournament. The indoor pool room was balmy hot - it was 98-100 outside, but the water temp was cool. One of the front dest staff was not the friendliest to say the least. Breakfast was good - room clean and comfy. All in all good stay.

We loved the hotel -- wonderful stay!

The hotel was accomodating, clean, comfortable and enjoyable. The only down side was the lack of high chairs during the breakfast buffett (as we have an eight month old). The hip-hop music in the lobby was a bit odd, but not bothersome. The vicinity to the highway and nearby resturants and downtown was the real upside to the stay. I would stay here […] again. We met the general manager upon leaving in the morning and he was very accomodating and pleasant, he even offered directions and tips for our next destination! Good value for your money. Læs mere

The hotel stay was great. Very clean and all we could need for one night. The pool and hot tub were clean. May need to check the ventilation in pool room-the chlorine in the air burned our eyes and throats. But the overall feeling of our stay was wonderful

Staying at this Holiday Inn Express was a pleasure. The room was spacious and clean. The workers were very helpful during our stay. Would definitely return. The only negative we noted was that the room heating/cooling unit was very noisy but the hotel is located very close to the highway and it drowned out the traffic noise.

Breakfast was generally okay and well-stocked, but would have benefited from a little variety. They had the same eggs & sausage gravy / biscuits every day, bananas, cereal... The swimming pool was cold and...salty? weird smell to it...the waterfall was off and other features were not nearly as nice as pictured online. The area around the pool appeared […] unattended - there were dozens of wet towels and furniture scattered around, and only 6 to 8 other guests in there. At check-in for a pre-paid reservation, we were told of a policy where our debit card (checking account) would be 'held' for $50 per day for 'incidentals' or damage. Wow...let's see if I understand this correctly...they forced us to buy a refundable, short term insurance policy *against ourselves*. Niiiice. I tell you, there is nothing like being told we can't spend our money somewhere else because THEY might want it. We checked out Sunday, it's now Wednesday and we are still waiting for access to our money / the hold to release. Bathroom door was askew on its hinges, rubbed badly and would not shut completely. Thermostat seemed to have a wide tolerance, allowing the room to get too warm before kicking in the A/C, but then dropping to chilly levels. It was not a terrible stay, but it did not live up to reviews and pictures, and their policies leave a lot to be desired. I just don't think we will be going back next year. Læs mere

Will stay again.

I had originally thought that a suite was two rooms, but in this case it was a huge jacuzzi tub, which was a pleasant surprise. I enjoyed it thoroughly.

stayed over the holiday. room was spacious, pool was great and the workout room was fantastic. i would stay at this hotel again.

Were impressed with the easy access and the clean room for the price. Although, hotels.com would not let us book another night, the hotel was accomodating.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The room was roomy and comfortable, with more amenities than I expected (microwave, as well as a coffeemaker). The beds were comfortable, with a selection of pillows in different firmnesses. The bathroom was also very roomy. The pool was terrific, as was the hot tub. Nice new hotel. Very spacious rooms, nice breakfast in the morning. But if you don't have a car you are stranded. fast food restaurants are 5-6 blocks away on a street that is not well lit.

Beatuiful rooms. Nice clean pool with hot tub. Hostess was very helpful when needed. I will asolutely being staying again next year when my event returns.

VERY NICE HOTEL

Being a weekend, it was very noisy on our floor because one room contained 6 or more young people who drank and on Sat night went out to drink in their cars and played their radios in their cars. Didn't seem to be any security there to stop them.
