The front desk upon check-in was clean and appealing. The room was a great size with working air, nice large bathroom and baby coffee maker. We found this room to be very clean and the staff was very friendly. The kids loved the indoor pool and had a great time while we were there. Would definitely stay here again!

At first glance seems really clean & nice. But once you look closer there was nasty wash rags. Headboards of the beds have not been wiped down in months, if you bend over & look in the air conditioner vents there was tons of MOLD in the air conditioner. Breakfast was horrible. Housekeeping did nothing but make the beds.

The employees at this hotel were the nicest we had ever come in contact with at a hotel. The hotel was very nice and clean. The only thing I didn't like was the beds were a little too hard for me. However, the kids loved the beds.

We had a group of 11 (Adults and kids) come in from out of town for an event in Hot Springs. We loved the free cookies at check in. The breakfast in the morning was well stocked. My sister and I had a little get-away from our husbands and kids. Really enjoyed ourselves. The Holiday Inn staff were very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast in the mornings before we set out sightseeing. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to see Hot Springs and surrounding area.

House keeping is really my only complaint. Housekeeping came in the room sometime while we were out and removed all the linens from the room and pulled the trash, but did not take trash from room. Then around 2pm housekeeping knocked on room door to inquire if we needed anything, I asked for them to replace the sheets that they had removed. They never […] returned. At 7pm, I called to the front desk to ask again about the linens, at this point I was told that house keeping was gone for the day. I went to front desk and collected new linens from the clerk. She was very nice and even offered to come and make the bed. The staff for the most part were very nice and helpful. Location was great. I would recommend this to others as a nice place to stay. I actually stayed for two nights with my two kids. We had an excellent stay!! the kids had a blast using the indoor pool and hot tub. I enjoyed having a little fridge and microwave in the room. The morning breakfasts were soooo nice!! There were scrambled eggs, pancakes, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, danishes, toast, muffins, bagels, apple […] juice, cranberry juice, orange juice, milk, coffee, and tea. There is a buisness room with computers where you can get on line anytime and a small workout room. The employees are so kind and helpful. There is a Wal-Mart next door and a McDonalds, Wandy's, Dollar Store, Gamestop and gas stations close by. There is one movie theatre in town, also. We feel very blessed that we found this hotel!! The only thing I did not like was that you can hear everybody else coming and going from there rooms the doors are hard to shut and there load.

It was really a nice hotel. Housekeeping was a little slow. We always had to wait on towels.The area was great there were plenty of restaurants surrounding the hotel and department stores. We stayed driving from Va to Tx, the hotel was very nice with convienent shopping and food. The breakfast hostess was super nice and accomadating. We were in a room closests to the highway, although it was a bit noisy at first when you are traveling you are so tired anyway. The pool and hottub were nice especially with two wild boys.

I have stayed here for 2 nights consecutively, room service is excellent. All bath towels and linens are replaced for the next day. I would definitely recommend to visit this hotel. Last but not the least good breakfast.

This was a good road-trip hotel for us. It was slightly hard to find from I-30 (the hotel is new and the street didn't turn up on our online directions) - but it's also pretty convenient to both local shopping and restaurants in Hot Springs. I'd certainly stay here again. We enjoyed our stay, and it's just a hop and a skip to Hot Springs. My daughter loved the pool and hot tub, and the contenental breakfast was better than I expected.

We spent 7 days there. The room was very comfortable, everyone was very pleasant. Pool and hot tub clean. Just minutes from several points of interest.

I booked this hotel b/c it was the location I needed for a last minute thing. Anywho its overpriced! I understand its the "On season" for Hot Springs which is about 30 mins away but geesh! This is the kicker, My finance' had a long hair cooked INTO his waffle!! he kept cutting the waffle and the hair was never ending!!!! When the waitress told the cook, he just laughed!! It took everything I had to keep my fiance' from diving over the counter!! Overall the hotel was just ok. Bed was ok..matress seemed old and worn a bit. Hotel front desk were very friendly during check in. The hotel was clean and comfortable and hot tub was nice. Breakfast could use some help. There was little to choose from and most of it was cold.

Only caution is located in dry country.

Overall, the Holiday Inn Express was great. Room and Hotel were very clean. The continenal breakfast was good. The staff was really friendly. The spout to the bath tub did come off the plumbing but they allowed us to shower in the next room down. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay again.

Even though the hotel is not located on a standard interstate access road, it is easy to locate and accessable. Very friendly front desk staff had us checked in in no time. the bed are in bad shape the rooms not clean no trash bags and the was not nice at all when i checked in very rude and the breakfast needs help i will not be back

First, the hotel is not easy to get to. There is no road that goes to the hotel, you have to cut through the Wal-Mart parking lot and then go around behind a stripmall and through an abandoned parking lot to get to the hotel. It doesn't appear that they are making any efforts to make it more easily accessible. There are not enough parking spaces for […] the # of rooms. The hotel was not even full on the night we stayed, but once we returned after seeing a movie, there were literally NO parking spaces. People were parking in the grass and in front of the front doors. No one wanted to park in the abandoned lot and walk across a field to get to the hotel because the neighborhood looked extremely "shady". The front desk was aware of the problem and just told everyone to park where ever they could and no one would get towed. They said it was a regular occurence. Next, we asked for an extra pillow, and they said they couldn't do it. I prepaid on hotels.com and at check in they asked for a credit card (which I expected). I asked if they placed a deposit, or held an amount. The lady informed me that no, nothing would be held that they just kept it in case of "incidentals". The next day after checking out I saw that they had charged my card $14.01. That made absolutely no sense! But, the people at the front desk told me that it wasn't a "big deal" they'd refund it and it would take about a week. The guy gave me a card so that I could call him back to check on it, but when I got home and looked at the card, he had crossed out the name of the person whose card it was originally, but didn't write in his own name. I was very satisfied with the service of the hotel. The rooms were very clean and nice. The only thing that i was dissatisfied with was the price, I felt it was a little overated for the amount of money that they charged per night.

I called the hotel 2 day prior to arrival, to request an early check-in, the manager stated that he could do that and that I just needed to call when I was almost there. Shortly after arriving on bath house row in Hot Springs (1:30p), I called the hotel as instructed at which time I was told; "Yes rooms are ready, you can come on." when I arrived at […] the hotel (2:00p) I was told that the rooms were not ready, and that I would have to wait 1hr. Remember 3:00p is the regular check-in time. If I had been told over the phone that the rooms were not ready, I could have spent more time at the bath houses & gift shops in Hot Springs. At this point I have 2 car loads of people (2 children, 3 adults, & 2 senior citizens) in July, sitting outside with no rooms waiting. I took everyone to a nearby Chinese buffet where we stayed until 3:30p (30 minutes after regular check-in. We went back to the hotel and was checked in and given keys, only to go upstairs, to the 3 suites that we paid for, and find out that the rooms were not ready. One room even had the door propped open with a trash can filled with trash and used feminine tampon applicators on top. The beds were striped and the covers were balded up on the beds, clearly not ready for occupancy. We had pre-paid tickets to Magic Springs & Crystal Falls amusement/water park. The water park closed at 6:30, after being delayed at the hotel, we arrived at the water park (the main attraction for the kids) only to be told that the water park would close in 45 minutes. The nightmare doesn't end there. 4 or 5 days after returning home, I found out that the bank account that I used for the trip expenses was over drawn by $125. The hotel had requested a card to cover $20/room for any incidental charges (pay-per-view, phone calls, TV games in the room). I gave them the debit/credit card attached to this account. Looked good from Interstate with Now Open sign still up. Could tell its been open almost a year. Our shower curtain was almost solid black with mold where it touched the tub. My wife and I travel a lot and stay at H.I.E. a lot and this one was totally different in the check-in procedure. they wanted an extra $20 deposit just in case we "jumped on the […] bed". We think this hotel just opened because it had a "Now Open" sign on it. It was great. Room was really nice and they had an indoor pool.

Hotel was opened in early 2009 and feels like it. It reflects direction that Holiday Inn is going. Clean and comfortable hotel. Beds and bath were very nice and better than typical for this chain. Common areas (lobby and breakfast area) were a little on the small side but not bad.

The hotel staff was not friendly at all. The lady who checked me in was more interested in her cigarette then doing her job. She gave me keys that didn't work so I had to go back down to the desk to have her activate the keys. Lots of attitude.
