Holiday Inn Toledo-Maumee - Maumee

I feel that this is the very best hotel in the area, very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.

Room was nicer than I had expected.

Great strip hotel, but as usual be prepared for a Resort Fee, $15 per night. Even with the resort fee the room was very reasonable. This was the trip we had been saving our travel rewards for, so we stayed here with welcomerewards....awesome! A few Vegas tips: Get a Deuce Pass to ride the bus up the strip and to Fremont St, and for a cheap lunch eat […] at the fish stand in the hotel and get either the fish and chips or the Clam Chowder in a Bread Bowl, or go next door either direction to the MGM or Monte Carlo, McDonald's is normal prices! We were stopping there during our stop to Chicago, clean hotel and convenient location for road trip.

Secluded yet still near everything

I liked the hotel. But did not realize it did not include waterpark tickets and due to the fact it was booked 3rd party. water park tickets were sold separately. No pool, but we could use the pool at Comfort Suites next door. If I would of known that I would of booked a room at Comfort Suites probably for a lot cheaper.

Nice hotel. Good location if your traveling through the area. Nice pool with slide for the kids. Room was clean, beds were comfortable. Would stay here again

Rooms are nice and clean, only thing I thought was a negative was the indoor water park is only open on the weekend It's summertime, at lease have it open then people travel on vacation in the summer with kids during the week or at least fore warn people It's closed during the week before they book with you....my kids were not happy...

If you buy up to the water park rates, I would imagine that this would be a great place for families. However, for a childless couple, the wear and tear and commotion of the waterpark being off the lobby is a drag. We probably won't stay there again but I can imagine that families would love it.

Hotel is very new. I would have given it all 5's but there was a candy wrapper (bright orange - how could someone miss that?) on the floor of our room when we arrived. That was the only flaw, and it didn't jive with the rest of the facility, which was really clean and well-maintained. Room was spacious and light and airy. Restaurant has decent food […] and a kids menu. Lots of decent chain restaurants nearby, too. Waterpark is connected to hotel, and when closed, the pool is available to hotel guests free of charge, but only in the late afternoon/evening, so don't expect to be able to swim in the morning. Waterpark is not open every day, so if you're interested in that, be sure to check the hours first. Fitness center is minimal - just a couple of treadmills and an elliptical, no weights. Læs mere

We did not realize the waterpark had a extra charge, and it was not cheap!!! We took our daughter and her boyfriend to the Toledo Zoo for her birthday, and wanted to surprise them about the waterpark. We were only at the hotel for the evening and thought it would be fun, but for the price it wasn't worth it. The staff at the hotel was helpful, though […] and said we could use the pool at the hotel next door. They called over for us and we went swimming there. The hotel was very nice and clean and the staff was very friendly, but if we had realized the extra charge we would have just stayed at the other hotel to begin with. Læs mere
