Holiday Inn Express & Suites Shreveport South Park Plaza - Shreveport

We arrived to the hotel after dark and the surrounding area was well lit and clean. The area the hotel was in was a little off the beaten path so there wasn't a bunch of traffic noise. However, the area the hotel is in was extremely conveniently located to the restaurants and venues we wanted to visit. During our stay we encountered four different front […] desk workers and all were extremely bubbly and welcoming. The lobby decor was up to date and had a spacious dining area. Our room was a king-sized handicap room and it was extremely spacious and was very clean! The bed was so comfortable and the pillows too. The AC worked very well, got a little too cold at night but was easily adjusted. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will be using this hotel again shall we ever go to Shreveport again! Læs mere

This hotel was very nice... However, HOUSEKEEPING came at 9:15 a.m.....I asked them to come back later....and later was 9:20 a.m.!!!

This hotel was very comfortable and clean. We had a jacuzzi room and it was also clean and worked well. Lots of good restaurants close by, big free breakfast. Safe neighborhood.

we ask and reserved king room when we got ther no king available ,payed extra for ajointing rm the were across the hall, ask AGAIN about poits on priority card ,lady too late already put it in try next time. Point system is not real Alwaays some reason why it isnt good enough

The desk people were nice. The room was fine. Except we noticed an odor when the A/C was not running. It was quiet and the maids were friendly and helpful. Knowing that you must be looking for ways to cut costs, I will mention that the A/C was turned down too low when we entered the room; the TV was left on and the refrigerator door was wide open. The hotel was difficult to locate as it is not situated directly on a main highway and the address is not able to be located by GPS or on-line maps. Once the hotel was found, checking-in was quick and the staff was very courteous. The hotel is fairly new and clean. Unfortunately my room door would lock from the outside, which was not discovered until […] unpacking. This was remedied very quickly, and a new room was assigned. This was somewhat fortunate as the original room's phone kept ringing randomly. Unfortunately, the bed in the new room was severely sagging in the middle and the throw at the end of the bed looked soiled. Also, the card keys for the room and outside side door did not work consistently. I'm glad it was only a one-night stay, but at least the free hot breakfast was very tasty. Læs mere

The staff was very friendly. They made us feel like family. And the hotel seemed like new. (The property is only about 4 years old. Then, they had a flood last year, and all carpeting and bedding had to be replaced.) I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again.

The location was perfect for us. Our room was large, clean, and comfortable. The only problem we encountered was at the breakfast...the person stocking and cleaning up the breakfast turned out the lights in the room while people were still there eating and visiting! I understand removing the foods and cleaning up at the time the breakfast is finished, […] but there's no need to turn off the room lights. Læs mere
