Hotellet ligger tæt på kysten, der kan dog ikke bades umiddelbart fra stranden da det er klippekyst. Hotellets restaurant var lukket da vi var der!! - så morgenmad skulle indtages i et nabohotel, og middag i nærliggende by.

Hotellet er en del af endicott college, men er dog på ingen måde påvirket af dette. Hotellet er helt nybygget og i fin stand. Vi brugt hotellet til overnatning før vi skulle hvalsafari i gloucester (30 min kørsel) dagen efter.
Placering.
Ashworth by the Sea Hotel ligger i nærheden af stranden i Hampton, og der er attraktioner såsom Fuller Gardens i omegnen.
Hotelfaciliteter.
Ashworth by the Sea Hotel har en indendørs pool og et fitnesscenter eller -rum. Trådløs internetadgang er gratis i fællesarealerne. Spisemulighederne på dette bed & breakfast, der er med familievenlig profil, omfatter en restaurant. Dette bed & breakfast har 2 restauranter samt en kaffebar/cafe og en bar/lounge. Personalet kan arrangere bryllupsfaciliteter og forretningsservice. Ekstra faciliteter inkluderer roomservice (i et begrænset antal timer), renseri/vaskeservice og et pengeskab i receptionen. "Ashworth by the Sea"
This is a nice place. Our room was surprisingly large, the bed was comfortable, and we had a small ocean facing balcony. The restaurant in the adjoining building served excellent meals, which was fortunate, because the rest of the town was still shuttered (literally) for the winter season. "Ashworth By The Sea - a great off season hotel"
A friend and I met there for a girl's weekend. We chose it because it had an indoor pool, restaurant, and bar. We were not disappointed. The staff was great, food very good, and easy to find. We happened to be there during the time change and were asked if we would like to have a late check-out at no additional cost. We will definately go back.
great room, very noisy from ballroom party and a CONSTANTLY BARKING DOG, made an otherwise happy stay somewhat stressful. Also service in the restaurant was poor. Overall a very fine hotel

We parked, we swam, ate, drank, danced, and snoozed without leaving the building. The people that work at the Ashworth are intelligent, caring, and fun. I hope the establishment knows what a goldmine they have in their staff, it makes the whole difference.
"The Ashworth in Hampton, NH"
We stayed at the Ashworth during the Christmas holiday and had a very pleasant experience. We chose the Ashworth because it is only a few miles away from family. It is an older hotel with a lot of history, so it is not a cookie-cutter type of establishment. This place has charm and a unique feel. The room had an ocean view with a small walk out patio […] and the bathroom was ample with an adjustable showerhead and large bathtub. There were plenty of channels to watch on the television and even the workout facility had a large screen tv. My only criticism is that some of the workout equipment could be updated, but overall I still got my workouts in when I wanted them and enjoyed the overall ambiance of the hotel. Læs mere

The ashworth by the sea was in an absolutely great location, the staff was helpful, the rooms were clean and plenty comfortable. And when your staying here you're within walking distance to an almost endless amount of bars and restaurants, the Hampton beach ballroom casino, and the beach is literally just steps away from the front door!!

"ASHWORTH BY THE SEA"
WE ARRIVED A FEW HOURS EARLY BEFORE OUR CHECK IN TIME, THEY DIDNT HESITATE TO LET US CHECK IN RIGHT AWAY. WE HAD LUNCH IN THE DINNING ROOM, FOOD WAS VERY GOOD. "Ashworth Hotel"
Great location and service, but could use a good scrubbing in some areas. I used the in-room coffee maker to brew hot water for tea. Imagine my amazement when the liquid came out dark. Looks like no one ever cleaned out the pot, so I think someone else's coffee grounds were in there. Didn't want to check though... Also went to the attached Whalers […] for breakfast. "A beach hotel thats not a hovel"
Small but very clean hotel rooms. Nice place in a neighborhood of dumpy older motels. Right across from beach. Good restaurant. Basically the only proper place to eat in town. If Hampton beach is your destination, this is the best choice.
"What I expected"
Ashworth was what I expected of Hampton Hotel. It was older, but you can see that they are making improvements. The pool was under construction when we arrived, which was not mentioned on hotels.com website. However, the staff was extremely nice and accomadating and offered free passes to another hotel's pool. The Ashworth Hotel by the Sea is convenient to the Hampton Casino Ballroom and Hampton Beach. Highly recommend a stay in this location.

"Right on the water!"
The hotel itself was fabulous. Unfortunately it felt like the walls were paper thin as we could hear everything our dis-courteous neighbor was doing, including shouting and slamming doors with a vengeance. Seeing as it was a romantic getaway, that really impacted the quality of our stay. Considering that it was a right on the beach, the staff was beyond […] friendly and helpful, this was only one aspect of the trip. I think I may be back, only with more friends to make obnoxious noises right back at them (Yes, I'm mature). "Ghost town"
This property is across the street from the beach, but the "view" is a tiny triangle of decking ouside the room. The facilities are dated and slighty smelly. The employyes were very gracious. Also, Hampton Beach closes up after Labor Day and nothing is open. Do not expect to walk anywhere to eat or drink because the place is deserted.

"Perfect location!"
This is our second time staying here and it won't be our last. It is in the perfect location (across from the ocean) the rates are resonable, staff is friendly, food was good and beer was cold! We run the Smuttynose marathon every year with another couple and it's one of those trips that we look forward to! Can't wait for next year!
