Quality Hotel Wellington - Wellington

Good location, clean spacious rooms, staff always friendly and offered some good advice about local restaurants. Would be happy to stay again.

Nice and clean rooms. Lift was out of order when arriving. Had to carry luggage six floors. Made a bad first impression. Good location lots of nice places to eat Wi Fi was not reaching our room

Our room was too hot and stuffy esp the weekend we were there, the weather was hot and muggy other than that we really enjoyed our stay thank you....

Thoughtfully and beautifully put together. Like the motion sensors that light up your way in the dark, the perfectly positioned hand rails and the joyous colourful features and fabrics. Smart colourful perfectly clean and great value for a modest price. The staff are also great, the sort of personnel that 6 star hotels would wish to have.

This hotel is in a great location on cuba street, within easy walking distance to waterfront, shops + restaurants. Had a room with two queen beds and kitchenette, and all in all was good value for money. (Had the stay 4 nights get 1 night free deal). The only reason I would consider not staying here again is that the room had no adequate dining facilities […] for 4 people. We chose this hotel partly because with two children with us we planned to have some meals in the room and the kitchenette would be handy. However there were only two chairs in the room and the table was just one long desk, so two of us had to eat on the floor or the bed. Læs mere

This is a well maintained and comfortable hotel close to downtown Wellington. The room we had was spacious and comfortable with good facilities both in the room and hotel. A couple of things could have made this a 5* rating for everything. Air conditioning and free wi fi. The room was just a bit too hot at night (outside temp only 20C) and the wifi […] was only available in the lobby. Overall very good but some room for improvement. Læs mere

This is an excellent hotel, staff are superb. Location is excellent as is facilities. The beds are a little soft, and some air conditioning would be nice, however overall, these don't really matter.

Within walking distance to Te Papa Tongarewa and room is spacious.

A great location in the Cuba St restaurant area, hotel has an indoor pool, off street parking ($20), free internet 30 mins. Our room was excellent - two queen beds and cooking facilities. No air conditioning - but this is Wellington - so if the room is too hot just open the window!

Very comfortable, affordable and excellent breakfast. I cannot be more appreciative ! The only - : no free wifi access in the rooms.

Had an enormous, very clean, new room, comfy beds...little to complain about. Location ideal for central Wellington activities and v handy to some of the best restaurants and cafes around. Recommend trying to attain room at the back or sides as I heard Cuba St can get a bit rowdy on Fri/Sat nights. For a moderate budget, this one is a winner!

This hotel was very comfortable and well equipped with a functional kitchen. It also had a very nice pool and spa area. The room was large and very clean. Only problems were neighbourhood was a little noisy Sat night ( fine, Sun and Mon ) and early in mornings with service vechicles. We really enjoyed our stay at the Quality Hotel Wellington. Located on Cuba Street it is easy walking distance to all of the Wellington City attractions and the food available on Cuba Street itself is wonderful. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Only minor negatives were the small bed, small bathroom, and reception staff who never quite seemed […] to know what they were doing, but I would definitely recommend the hotel as a wonderful place to stay. Had most enjoyable stay. Right in the City hub with restaurants and bars just outside the front door. Large room with all requirements. Modern decor, clean and tidy. Staff very helpfull and pleasant to talk with. Secure car parking if you book in early enough. Will stay again.

This hotel was modern and efficient. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. The neighborhood, adjacent to the main downtown / harbor area, was much more Bohemian than the rest of the downtown area, which made it interesting to me. Probably more of a place for singles and couples than for families. It was, however, an easy walk to the harbor, […] Te Papa Museum, and downtown commercial area. For the price, you can't beat it. The hotel is very conveniently positioned in down town Wellington. The room was large, clean and in good condition, but the shower was very small and had no door. Hence each time the shower was used the bathroom floor was soaked. There was no air conditioning and only one window that opened partially. Quality Hotel Wellington and Comfort Hotel Wellington are right next to each other and we stayed at both. The Comfort room was smaller and cheaper but we preferred it as the Quality side didn't merit the increase in price. Yes, the room was much bigger and more fashionable but some aspects of our room didn't make sense. The bed had a bar light across […] the back. Great except you couldn't sit back in bed and the TV was off to one side making watching a challenge. This hotel is not a bad choice but save some bucks and stay on the Comfort Hotel side. Walking to the hotel from the train station seemed a bit far but really wasn't and the neighborhood getting worse the farther we walked didn't help. But the hotel anchors one end of the uber-trendy Cuba St.. Awesome as the city shuts down early but Cuba St. keeps rocking until late. The hotel is a few blocks from buses, a few blocks from the Te Papa museum and the Wharfside. Great location. Læs mere

Nous avons pu visiter presque toutes les attractions de la ville à pied au départ de l’hôtel. Cuba Street est très animée et les commerces y restent ouvert un peu plus tard.Courtenay Place en cinq minutes et Lambton Quay en 10. Plein de restos sympas et de pubs aux alentours. L’hôtel est très propre et le service de chambre est soigné. Le personnel […] reste très serviable même à des heures tardives. Seul bémol, pas de clim dans notre chambre et le soleil tapait sur notre vitre le matin, mais cela reste supportable tout de même. La kitchenette est fonctionnelle et contient tout ce qu'il faut pour se faire des repas normaux. A recommander. Læs mere
