Hotel with beautiful location next to the river. Free parking. Need refurbishment, but OK rooms - all with wooden fireplace ! ! ! (and free firewood)

Personalet på hotellet var utrolig hjælpsomme og flinke. Vi havde fået et værelse uden udsigt/vindue og blev uden problemet flyttet til et andet værelse uden omkostninger. Værelset var rent og i pæn stand. Generelt var det hele rigtig godt i forhold til den lave pris. Det er et 'road-side' motel og helt perfekt til få hurtige overnatninger.

Baymont Inn & Suites Pigeon Forge ligger i Pigeon Forge og er tæt på The Comedy Barn Theater, Hollywood Wax Museum og Titanic Museum. I nærheden er også Dollywood og WonderWorks.

The room was very nice. We were right across the road from a nice dinner. We were on the 4th floor so the view was good. It was a busy street but the room was quite. The people that cleaned the rom did a great job.

Our room was the the cleanest Ive ever stayed in. It was my daughters 1st trip to Gatlinburg\Pigon Forge, Tn. It couldnt have been more fun! Everything we could have wanted to do was just outside our room door. Restrant selections & shopping was well in walking distance. With an all night market just across the street. It was only a few minutes from […] everything we wanted to see & do in Gatlinburg as well as the Smokey Mountain National Park. We will definetly be planing another trip to the same hotel. It did not match what was said on line. Your staff did not6 have much knowledge about the place or about the place. Did not try to fix what was wrong with room ( Tv and fireplace). Never called back tell s anything either. Breakfasy place was out of stuff and some of the stuff had mold.
"ease of getting around via Teaster (off main Pkwy)"
WiFi didn't work most of the time; water dripped in bathtub; blow dryer had broken piece; when guests in room above us, it sounded like water running down the wall on our heads. Desk staff was attentive but couldn't make WiFi work. Hostess in breakfast area was VERY friendly.

amazingly low price thru Hotels.com. Noisy young kids with no parental control in the next room but.... that's the way that goes. Room itself was OK..not great or bad, just OK. Really disappointed that they ran out of coffee for the coffee makers in the room. My husband and I stayed at this hotel during the weekend of Pigeon Forge's Grand Rod Run. This is an event that goes on every year. We were actually in pigeon Forge for some other bussiness. From the minute we arrive we had problems. We arrived at 2:30 and the rude front deak lady rolled her eyes at me and told me the room wouldnt be ready until 3. […] I said no problem, and we went and walked around. We came back at 3:30 and there was a man at the front desk along with a room full of people waiting.... He said the rooms were still not ready.... We did not get into our room until 4:30!!!! It was ridiculous! Someone asked why it was taking house keeping so long, and they responded "busy day", this hote should have been on top of their game expedically on a weekend like this! It wouldn't have been so bad if the front deak staff weren't so RUDE! Læs mere

"Clean and Convenient, but:"
We booked this room for the convenience of the location, the rates, and the amenities of a fireplace and jaccuzzi in the room. This was to be our "2nd Honeymoon" so we really wanted the ambiance of the fireplace. When we arrived, we took the elevator to the top floor where our room was located. The elevator doors began to open while the elevator was […] still moving (about 6 inches from the floor level). We got to our room and were delighted with the visual appeal and cleanliness of the room, although a little disappointed that there was only one chair in the room. No big deal. However. when we tried to use the fireplace, we were unable to turn it on. We called the front desk to inquire about how to operate the fireplace, thinking perhaps we were not doing it correctly. After many rings, the clerk answered and informed us that a part was missing from the fireplace, in fact ALL the fireplaces were inoperable at the moment. We were disappointed, but apparently there was nothing that could have been done, although we feel that should have been mentioned when we checked in or when we called to confirm our reservations three days earlier, including the fireplace/jaccuzzi. The bed was quite comfortable with plenty of pillows, and the room had plenty of clean towels/linens. We did take not of the indoor pool area and although it was very small, it was a neat area. We noticed on the 2nd morning that we did not have a pot for the coffee maker. We tried to contact the front desk but no one answered, so we just got our coffee when we left that morning. Our second night was quite comfortable as well, but when we talked with the clerk as we was checking out, her only response about our issues of the fireplace and coffee pot was that she was sorry but there was nothing she could do since we booked the room through hotels.com. "Baymont Inn & Suites in Pigeon Forge TN"
This hotel was the absolute BEST!!! The front desk clerk was very courteous and understanding of the fact that we had been sitting in traffic for over 7 hours due to construction, and that all we wanted to to do was sleep. He directed us towards food, and then when we came back he got us in our room without ANY hesitation. I will ALWAYS go back to the […] Baymont when I travel back down to TN. AWESOME experience!!! "Baymont INN use to be Mountain Place Hotel"
Baymont just took over this hotel. Great price for area with a heated indoor pool. Even the though the pool is very crowded in the evenings. The jacuzzi is the same temp as the pool and very small. And a very limited number of towels in the pool area if any. Rooms are completely updated but unfortunately in my 3 night stay, housekeeping never came in […] my room and made the bed, roomed trashed or brought fresh towels. I would like to believe it is because they just changed hands and don't have enough staff yet. Overall not a bad experience if you go in not expecting much. Læs mere

"Conviently located but noisy and bad staff"
The hotel is in a great location, right on the main strip in Pigeon Forge, but it is also on the corner of a very busy intersection which is very noisy. The staff was rude, especially housekeeping. We were mistakenly placed in a room that had not yet been cleaned, then told to give them 45 minutes to allow housekeeping to clean the room. We waited, […] and then saw housekeeping getting ready to leave for the day - but our room had still not been cleaned. We were told by a very rude member of housekeeping that our room "was not a priority and she was going home for the night". After housekeeping left and it was apparent our room was not going to get cleaned that night, they tried to put us in a smoking room which smelled like an ashtray. Finally we ended up in a room which was noisy and had mold growing in the corners. After driving 6 hours, it was very frustrating having to move our luggage from room to room for 2 hours just trying to get a place to sleep for the night. The hotel has an indoor pool and hot tub, but the hot tub is smaller than a bath tub and was cold. The door to the hotel room was not fitted properly and there was a gap around the edges. This let in a lot of light and noise at night. I would imagine in the summer months, this would also let in a lot of bugs. I booked this hotel based on location, price and the indoor pool, but there are a lot of hotels within the same price range along this strip and I would recommend trying one of those instead. We will never stay here again. One last thing, hotels.com stated we would have a "mountain view" room, but there are none in this hotel. Only views of the traffic and parking lot. Læs mere

Hotel is recently updated, clean, and comfortable. Indoor heated pool is very nice for the kids on a cool night. Location is convenient to all of the attractions and shopping outlets. Everyone was polite and helpful.
"Just be aware"
Hotels.com said the room had a jacuzzi. According to the clerk there was some kind of glitch and all their rooms with a king size bed were showing as jacuzzi suites. Luckily, they were not full and were able to switch rooms without additional charges. The free continental breakfast was not high quality. Some of the food was stale. The staff were scrambling […] to put out enough food for all the guests to eat - and again, they weren't really full. good, and I would return in the future. The manager was very concerned with our comfort, and did all he could, under the circumstances to make us comfortable. All present employees were very nice. And I must add that your bed pillows are the best.

Great place to stay, super clean, close to everything:Gatlinburg, Ober Gatlimburg, Smoky Mountains and shopping centers. People at the front desk were super helpful. We loved it, definitely would recommend it to everybody.....

We tried to check in early and the desk girl was not very friendly, but upon our return she was exceptionally friendly and we enjoyed our stay. We will stay there again if we ever go back.

I booked a room at this hotel for 3 nights online. I realized the hair dryer didn't work the first night. I made numerous calls to the front desk & each time I was told that it would be fixed but it never was. The entire time I was there I had to air dry my hair because I didn't pack a dryer. The room had a bad smell upon entering. The towels were dingy. […] The indoor pool was closed.
