Great location and friendly front desk...but a little shabby in our room. Rooms are smaller than I expected and are suitable for two people. They were relatively clean and the appliances worked.

The hotel room was in a good location, right next to the beach. The room i stayed in was a family suite, it was very roomy for the 3 of us, however some of the equipment could need an update, and it didn't provide a dvd player. This hotel needs a humidifier and a major makeover. The furniture (with the exception of the mattress and box springs) is over 20 years old!!! It smells strongly of mildew and is very damp. Had I not prepaid I would have left.

Very friendly staff. Great location too! Kid friendly hotel.

enjoyed the "family style" room--very accommodating for 4 adults and friends. Hope to make it back sometime.

This hotel lacks basic things like alarm clock, iron, free wifi. The bathroom had very old shower. The money I paid for the room, I will not recommend anybody this hotel. The only good thing was its closeness to beach.

The hotel was in a very nice location...The beach was clean, safe and provided activities for the teenagers..the pool was great! We also loved the poolside bar...we would definitely return!

Stayed with friend for three nights and had problems opening the room door because the door knob would not turn. Constantly went to front desk to get help getting into room. After all of the difficulty with the door, saw maintenance man once. Still had problem getting into room after door knob was sprayed. Had to stand in the hall a few times and wait […] for help because we were unable to get into room. Staff at the front desk appeared to be upset because we had to constantly ask someone at the front desk to help us get into the room. I finally had to remind the staff at the front desk that we paid to stay in the hotel and should not have any problems getting into the room. The appearance of the hotel is outdated, room smelled like mildew, rust stains in tub, and on refrigerator. Housekeeping staff friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a good spot, the beach is nice and in a kind of private location,,however the hotel is going on 37+ years old, and it is in need of updates and renovations

This hotel is in worse condition then some of the motels in wildwood center. The "hotel" is out dated, smells like mildew, doesn't have a clean warm welcome feel to the place at all and the so called managers are not helpful at all. I tried and tried to contact a manager but it seems he is never there. I didn't even stay (only made reservations for […] 2 nights), I checked in, stayed for about an hour then got another room at a motel in the center of wildwood. I really enjoyed staying at this hotel, however, I do believe that the rooms should of have been a bit larger. We also had problems with our front door to unlock and get into our room. We also had neighbors that had an infant baby that keep crying several times through the night. I think that maybe next time I make arrangements to stay at this location, […] I would like to have a room much larger and neighbors with no babies crying at night. Will NEVER return to this hotel! A friend and I checked in to this hotel hoping for a quiet and relaxing stay. Instead, we were given adjoining rooms with a shared and very small balcony with four loud and inconsiderate teenagers! They were out on the balcony with the radio on, drinking, smoking and talking loudly until 4 a.m.! I knew this because, […] needless to say, I got NO sleep. The only good thing about this hotel was the fact that it was right on the beach. Other then that parking was horrible, and every morning despite having the do not disturb sign up you heard the maids talking very loud and slamming doors shut. Hotel appears old and needs renovating. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. Thank God we only stayed one night especially since we couldn't even get a good night sleep.

Our stay was brief but very nice. We had a view of the ocean from the balcony we shared with another room which we didnt like. Hotel is right on the beach. It had a nice pool with bathrooms right there and vending machines close by. The bar and grill was next to the pool - very nice. We ate at the little cafe inside for breakfast and the food and service […] were good. Room was a little small and the lock on the sliding balcony door was broken and there was no artwork on the walls but the room was clean and well supplied. I asked for an upgrade to a room with 2 double beds and they gave it to us with no extra charge. The hotel next door has a food place on the beach, so u didnt even have to leave the beach for lunch. Our hotel room was very small and very damp. There were only three controls for the air conditioner (low, medium, and high) and even the low setting was uncomfortably cold. The dampness made it feel even worse. The hotel was very out-of-date and needs some remodeling. However, we were impressed with the pool/bar area and the fact that there was a private […] beach for the hotel which you could walk right onto. The beach was one of the best we've been to in Jersey. Despite the hotel being old and run-down, the staff seemed accommodating and friendly. The rooms were clean for the most part. i went with my boyfriend and it was greater than i have expected. The hotel is well maintained with very welcoming nice employees. We had no problems. The rooma was clean, the pool is awesome. If you dont have a car.... you will have to walk about 3 miles... so if you're taking in the bus... i suggest you call a cab. There was a shared balcony with only 2 chairs. There was mold and un defrosted ice in the refrigerator. The bed frame kept seperating from the box spring. The hot water was scalding in the bathroom.

We have no complaints about this hotel. The staff was great.We loved the private beach,and the pool was nice. It was a quiet location a couple of minutes from the boardwalk.

This hotel was outdated and the rooms were small and beds were very uncomfortable. Had to share a balcony with the room next door and that was very inconvenient.

The staff was great but the rooms need a lot of improvement. This hotel has a lot of potential to become a higher rating hotel if they just invest in the rooms. New beds, fridge and tv's. But for the money you can't go wrong.

For the price and location you can't beat Pier 6600 and they had live music by the pool the whole time we were there.

The Pier 6600 Hotel was the only thing I could find last minute but was not worth the money. The rooms were quite expensive for the area available. The shared balconies was inconvenient. There was also no information within the room on any eateries or things to do. The television was not up to date. The only good thing about the hotel is the Barefoot […] Bag & Grille, which was really a hit with my boyfriend and I. I would not recommend this hotel. This room was adouble bed room. There was no coffee maker, clock radio, closet.It looked like a closet inside. The outside of the hotel was really nice. They need to renovated the rooms and make them more modern.I paid over $ 100 per night and stayed 2 full nights they didn't even have room service. I know there are alot of negative reviews about this hotel but for what I paid for I got. The hotel is older than most on the strip and is outdated. It didnt bother anyone in my pary of 5. Quite basic rooms and a bit worn general feeling of the hotel. Very friendly staff who handled all practical matters very efficient and flexible. A bit distant from restaurants and shops.
