Fint ophold! Et hotel med et venligt og hjælpsomt personale - og en egen charme i den gamle bygning. Beliggenheden gør dog, at man er afhængig af en bil.

Fint hotel med en god beliggenhed. Et minus ved hotellet er, at der først er morgenmad kl. 8.30, det bevirkede, at vi ikke kunne få morgenmad, da vi skulle køre kl. 8.00.

Vi brugte hotellet som overnatningssted på vej fra Spanien til Danmark. Byen er interessant og beliggenhedenspændende. Hotellet ligger præcis i centrum, så man kan nå alt, efter at man har stillet bilen fra sig i den underjordiske offentlige parkering 100 meter fra hotellet. Hotellet er lille og stilrent. Værelset var lækkert, og betjeningen helt i top. Super morgenbuffet!

Placering.
Hotel Jan Brito ligger i hjertet af Brügge og er i gåafstand fra Brugge Rådhus, Det Hellige Blods Basilika og Groenigemuseum. I nærheden er også Brugge Klokketårn og Brugge Markedsplads.

Pænt og hyggeligt hotel midt i den gamle bydel, med masser af seværdigheder. God service fra medarbejderne. Parkeringskælder lige om hjørnet. Husk når du er der, at besøge Zeebrugge og Damme.
"Very nice, but no internet"
We were very happy to stay at Jan Brito. Unfortunately the wire less internet did not work. Our computer did not get an IP-address, so therre were no access. Otherwise no problem.

"dejligt hotel med charme med en god beliggenhed"
Et meget charmerende hotel med fin service og en god beliggenhed centralt i byen, tæt på restauranter og seværdigheder. Man skal vide hvis man vælger stuepigens værelse som vi gjorde, at det er super hyggeligt, men ikke særlig stort.

Very pleasant introduction to the wonderful town of Bruges.
"A lovely experience"
Great location 2-3 mins from the Burg, and an easy walk from the bus stop in Market Square. Location also very quiet yet 2 mins walk from a most popular section of canal. Fantastic service from friendly, efficient staff. Excellent breakfast; hot eggs and bacon, variety breads, pastries and cake and good selection of cheeses and cold meats as well as […] fresh fruit salad, dried fruits and good jams. Bike hire from hotel well worth it, very much enhanced our stay. Daily English newspapers at reception, good tourist advice from reception, large bar, baggage storage on leaving day. "Good Location and Hotel"
The quality of this hotel is its location and charm. The breakfast was also a plus. Walking time to top restaurants, shopping and sights is excellent. The one flaw is the elevator in the back area. You have to keep the button in for the ride up and down. Also, it is slow. Taking the steps was much easier but for people with mobility issues the back […] part of the hotel could be a problem. Excellent value for money and centrally located. Friendly and helpful staff and very good breakfast buffet. Pity the elevator is that slow and inconvenient (push the button all the way up!) it makes much more sense to use the stairs.

"The perfect quiet hotel"
I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The location is perfect- 5 minutes walk to the Burg and Markt, close to the canal walks. But it is also far enough away from the main hotel area to be quiet. It is close to restaurants and pubs where we were the only non-Belgians so it felt less touristy than the main squares. We had a Knight's Room […] which was huge and gorgeous and absolutely quiet- we couldn't even hear street noises. It was cleaned every day and was spotless. The bed was comfortable and the shower was really powerful. The staff were helpful and polite at all times and the breakfast was fantastic. A good selection of cereals, different types of egg, cooked meat, different breads and juices, cold meats and cheeses. They also had real tea! We were there in the winter but I'd say the courtyard is lovely to have breakfast in in the summer. Læs mere

Four nights and my only complaint is that the gin and tonic from the hotel bar is a bit pricey. I'm not hugely experienced, but this is the best hotel I've stayed in so far.
"JAN BRITO - perfect location"
Couldn't really fault the hotel - we were only there a couple of nights and it was perfect for all the sites and restaurants in Bruges. general Car Park at the end of the street - we had no trouble parking , but the hotel have their own pass in any case - we didn't need the car once we were there, it was easy to walk everywhere espcially as the hotel […] is right in the centre of everything. "Wonderful hotel in the nicest town in Europe"
Everything was great! The room and amenities were perfect. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and our rate included breakfast. The mini bar had decent prices as well.

A lovely hotel steeped in history in a great location very close to all the centre of brugge. The hotel staff were very helpful, breakfast was very nice and overall very good value for money. Would definately stay again and reccommend to others.

A beautiful hotel, good service, room a little too small-we stayed at the maids room, but clean and with nice, clean towels. Breakfast was very good and plenty. Good parking 200 meters away. Very close to the town centre and all the must see places. A good hotel to stay, can recommend to anybody.
Really loved this hotel. The staff was wonderful, friendly, and most helpful. This well located hotel was a charming place to stay in a charming town. Breakfast was wonderful from the fresh fruit to the smoked salmon to the pastries and grainy bread.

"Perfect for couples"
Situated a 5 minute walk from the squares. V.nice building decor and fittings. Room was nicely fitted out and comfortable. Breakfast was good. No street parking or hotel car park available, but there is an underground car park 5 mins away. Best bit was the staff who were all polite, friendly and helpful

"Jan Brito: a small palace converted into a hotel"
This hotel is lovely. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful and the rooms were palatial. A higher ceilinged bedroom I have scarcely seen, and whilst the Marie Antoinette inspired interiors aren't something I would choose to live with on a daily basis, they made for a luxurious feeling hotel room and certainly gave it a wow factor. […] Our room was more than large enough, as was the bathroom, and everything was present to ensure a lovely stay. If we had to criticise anything it would be that our room was a little dusty, and a dead fly present on the windowsill when we arrived was still there until we removed it ourselves a couple of days later. But that's extremely nitpicky and doesn't detract much from the overall greatness of the hotel. Breakfast was lovely, and was served in an eccentrically-decorated room staffed by smiley and multilingual staff. Reception was similarly staffed by happy and courteous people. Overall we loved our stay there and would definitely go back to the Jan Brito should we return to Brugge. Læs mere

"Fabulous"
Friends recommended this hotel and they were right--the room was spacious and detailed, the morning breakfast buffet was excellent, and the location was perfect. This is a great value for the price with easy access to the Belltower square, the canals, and the meandering streets of Bruges.

The hotel is in a neat older building with a great courtyard. Staff is great. Breakfast is great. The room was very nice.
this hotel was so charming, very quiet and an absolutely wonderful breakfast served in a beautiful area, overlooking a lovely garden. it was very easy to walk anywhere we wanted to go and an easy bus rid from the train.
"Jan Brito - close to all the sights"
We stayed for 2 nights in one of the Knight Rooms. The bed was lovely and comfy with a nice duvet and bedding. Although we were facing a street, we used the air conditioning and kept the windows closed and were not disturbed by any noise. The reception staff were very helpful. Absolutely fabulous. We stayed in the Duchess suite called "the Chapel". Can't say enough wonderful things about this place, the great breakfast, the lovely garden, the jacuzzi in the room, it's like staying in a lovely palace. Excellent hotel in good location. Room was large, clean and relatively well equipped although there was no complimentary water (had to pay for water from the mini-bar) and no tea/coffee making facilities. The breakfast buffet was of a good standard with a good choice of items. Represented excellent value for money.
