Alpina Phuket Nalina Resort & Spa - Phuket

Generelt tilfreds. Boede i bygning 4 med pool access. Grundet stor/høj beplantning nåede solen desværre aldrig ned på terrassen og i poolen. Desuden er der stor mangel på parrasoller ved det ellers dejlige store og børnevenlige poolområde. Alt i alt havde vi 5 dejlige dage.

Vi var der 2 netter i december. Rigtig dejlig hotel, pæne værelser, flot udsigt fra balkon, smuk poolområde. Hyggelig busservice til og fra stranden og super godt at hotel har egene liggestole på stranden. Vil anbefale dette hotel, kun positive oplevelser.

Vi (2 par) har boet på dette hotel februar 2012. Et rigtig dejligt sted med en stor fin pool. Vi havde værelser med pooladgang, hvilket kan anbefales. Bygn. 4 ligger lidt for sig selv, så hvis I ønsker privatliv på terrressen, er det her I skal bo (bemærk værelserne vender mod nord, så ingen sol og en temmelig kold pool). Vi fik først værelser her, […] men flyttede til andre værelser med udsigt til den store pool, det passede os bedre og vandet var dejlig varmt. Alt personale var venligt og hjælpsomt. Morgenmaden ganske udmærket og værelserne ok, men sengene var temmelig hårde. Vi fik så bare ekstra dyner til at ligge på, rigtig fin service. Hotellet ligger et stykke fra stranden, da man skal uden om et hotel, der har taget det meste af området foran stranden. Men det fungere fint med bussen, der kører fra hotellet til stranden en gang i timen. Et dejligt hotel, som kan anbefales. Læs mere

Perfect, "escape from it all" location. Beautiful surroundings. The LARGST outdoor swimming pool I have every enjoyed. Great SPA facilities - lovely accommodation - recommend the option for direct pool access from our room.

Great hotel. Nice decor. Beautiful well maintained grounds. Lovely large pool. Staff very friendly. Tour services offered at hotel lobby. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Free shuttle to the beach hourly. Relaxing atmosphere. Has spa facilities. Buffet breakfast was very good with a large selection of dishes.

The resort layout is superb, all rooms centred around the pool. The balconies are fantastic to laze and relax all day long, more so for the ground floor rooms with direct access to dip pool at the balcony. Beach towels are also placed direct in the bath. There were some minuses too...bath water running yellow for the initial few minutes...no housekeeping […] on the 1st day and we only got back after 12midnight, the reception aren't able to bring us fresh towels...jacuzzi tub not functioning...dresser chair sandy. We felt a little unwelcome during our stay. The cleaning staff were excellent, but reception and bar staff average. The Internet connection was slow and at times non existent. The resort was ok but looking a little tired in areas.

Stayed in the hotel for a week. Ok location but would be great if it was closer to the beach. The rooms are spotless and the beds are hard but huge. The buffet breakfast was a great way start the day. There is a taxi stand out the front making it easy to get anywhere in Phuket. Having a pool access room was great. My wife really enjoyed spa. We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and found the overall quality of the hotel to be good. The cleanliness and comfort of the rooms are ok. The hotel is located near Kata beach ( about 15/20 mins walk) and there is a shuttle bus that transfers guests to the beach every hour. I would def recommed a pool side room if I was to stay again as we were located […] on level 4 with no pool access and limited view. Also the WiFi was very poor as we were so far away from reception. The hotel was beautiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We got the room with breakfast buffet included and found that by the end of our stay (7 days) we were over the food because it was basically the same items every morning. It was very well priced and I would recommend it to people if they wish to be a little bit away from the hustle […] and bustle. The place is generally nice. The room is spacious and well equipped. But the Wifi is terriably slow and television channels so few that even local channels are not available.

Overall - great. My wife and I had a swim-up room which was a boon. Beds are rather hard but we got used to them. Cheap food across the road. Quiet and we almost had the large pool to ourselves! Not close to beach but free hourly transit service and free sun loungers/umbrellas. Our children and we enjoyed the free breakfast and wi-fi.

Family of six, stayed 10 nights. We stayed in three Nalina Classic rooms. Rooms were in excellent order, clean and air conditioning worked very well. The pool is excellent and the fitness room well-equipped. We enjoyed the Buffet Breakfast each morning; no complaints. The hotel is a 10 minute walk to the beach, and Kata Square. Shuttle bus to beach […] provided, but was sometimes hard to catch - seemed to be a loose schedule. Free WIFI is next to useless, except around 3 am!!! The hotel is quite big and our room was towards the back so it was a bit far especially from breakfast in the mornings. There was some building work opposite which created some noise and the temporary accommodation they have built for the workers isn't the most scenic view! This resort complex is in an excellent location and has all you need for a great holiday. The staff are helpful and the services make for a lovely lot of options. The pool was a lovely area its just a shame that it doesnt open until 10am and closes again at 7pm. You couldnt get pool towels before even on request. We had 3 people staying in our but everyday i had to call down to the office to get a third bath towel. The staff spoke great english and i had no trouble explaining things. Do not stay here if you need internet access. Pool acces room was a lifestyle, started in building 4... Very dated/run down. Helpful staff moved us to building 3 without hesitation, much better location and updated facilities. Excellent hotel, room service was fantastic pity it wasn't available all night. The pool was amazing so warm so clean. The staff were really helpful this always makes a great holiday. All i want to say is Phuket = AMAZING!!!!!!!

The hotel was excellent, breakfast was great, great place to relaway from the husle and bustle of patong, mattress was very hard and couldn't get confortable during sleep, apart from that recommend.

Nice hotel in a good area, espacially if you compare it with Patong. Good for familys or people who don't want busyness. The rooms are nice, clean but they need a lot of maintenance. A lot of small things are broken or not fitting. The pool is great. Wifi internet was problamatic, because it cut off very often in the room. Breakfast is not worth the […] star rating and should be served on a better way. At the end of the line; for this money it's good value. But don't expect a spotless 4 star hotel; there are to many small issues that are annoying. This was my first time to Thailand and although the resort/hotel had a nice Thai theme through it all it still had the usual comforts and practicalities of most western hotels. The pool was great and plenty of loungers available with a convenient pool side bar where the guy would bring your drinks over to you. The spa/health place was amazing and very […] professionial. We got our massages half price due to it being off season (Aug). The staff were very polite, friendly and always happy to help, although their English wasn't great we kind of fumbled through it. If we had a major problem it could have been quite difficult. We booked a tour through their booking counter and the lady there spoke good english and was very helpful. The resort was starting to look a bit run down in a few areas, mainly just water damage but after seeing the monsoons you could see why. But they didn't seem very quick to repair any damage. It was back off the main street and right in between Kata & Karon. If you don't mind a 10-15min walk to either main centre it was good. Hourly bus took us down to Kata beach a few times which was great, otherwise a walk there via the shops took about 15-20mins (as you have to walk around the Club Med grounds). Personally I'd rate it as a 4, but I think it was really good value for money and suited us good. Læs mere

The staff were very curtious and friendly. The food was very affordable meals inside the hotel restaurants were on a par with eating outside the resort. This hotel was AMAZING. Everything you would ever want from a hotel this one has it. We arrived around midnight, handed a drink on arrival and wet towels to cool ourselves down, was the perfect start. We stayed in the nalina classic room, it was huge, spotless, our own private balcony looking out onto the pool, bathroom was huge, bed was so comfortable […] and it was so big you could have fit 4 people in it. The free buffet breakfast was delicious and so much variety to choose from because its a hot and cold buffet. The surrounds of the hotel itself are very well kept. I also got a massage in the spa, it was a bit more expensive in comparison to the massage parlours on the street but it was so relaxing and a lot more professional than the parlours on the street. On Thursday nights there is free drinks for one hour and the staff get together with the guests and chat. The room was cleaned every day with fresh towels every day also. The staff were so polite and welcoming. The hotel was also very well situated,only a short walk to Kata beach and the main town area where there are shops,markets,pubs and resturants also it is only a short walk to Karon aswell. You can get a free shuttle bus to the beach every day and they provide beach towels umbrellas and sun loungers free of charge. If your looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday and 5 star accommodation this is hotel for you. I will definitely be returning to this hotel Læs mere

My experience at ALPINA was wonderful. The staff was friendly, responsive and eager to help. The food was fantastic, . The resort is located close to many shops and restaurants. I definitely recommand this resort to anyone that is traveling to Phuket. I can't wait to go back myself.

I've only got good things to say about Alpina, great service with a smile. My stay at this resort can only be described as fantastic, I absolutely loved everything about this place, from the warm & friendly staff to the great buffet breakfast, all in a lovely tropical setting. The pool was I'mmaculate and cleaned on a daily basis as was my room, It's […] nice to come back a from walk and find your bed made, fresh towels , 2 complimentary bottles of water, oh I almost forgot they have a 2 for 1 happy hour which makes drinking pina colladas all that more enjoyable. The hotels restaurant had great selection of western style foods and traditional thai which would rival any first class restaurant anywhere in the world at very reasonable prices, and it's those little touches which might not mean much to some , but really leaves a lasting impression on me and that's the neat little folds they place on the ends of the toilet paper and boxes of tissues. There is one more thing that really impressed me and that Is, every Thursday the hotel holds a free cocktail party for all the guests of the hotel which Is a nice way for the hotel guests and staff to Interact and get to know one another, and a way for the hotel to get feedback from there guests as to how there enjoying there stay and make sure there needs are been met. Great hotel with great facilities!! Close to shops, restrurants and the beach and there is even a free shuttle to the beach. The buffet breakfast had soo much to offer and booking tours was easy through the hotel

Impressed 1st by the complimentary drink at the reception desk then the room itself I booked a single and it came with 2 beds pushed together to make a fabulous giant bed i was impressed.
