Hotel Magic Mountain - Arenal vulkanske region

The hotel is very close to downtown. The rooms are comfortable but the safety box it doesn´t work and the jacuzzi on the fist floor is a little bit cold.

Everything was fine except the fact that our toilet was constantly clogging up. Both mornings we had to go down to my parents room to use the restroom because our toilet wouldn't work properly. Other than that big annoyance, the pool and view were nice and the breakfast was great.

My stay at Magic Mt. with our friend/family was enjoyble. And also the full breakfast was very nice we like that very much.

This hotel was a good option for being reasonably priced in a great location with a GREAT view. It has a few cool pools (1 larger and two hot tub size) and a slightly warmer one right at the bar. No hot tubs, no hot springs. The rooms were decent (a few ants in the bathrooms - hard to avoid so I don't hold them responsible) and we had multiple difficulties […] with the door lock of our first room before having to switch rooms due to an air-conditioner malfunction. The rooms have outstanding views of the volcano. (I believe all rooms directly face the volcano, so if it's not covered with clouds, you can't miss it!) It is nice that includes breaktfast, although your enjoyment of it will depend on your tastes and comparisons. We liked it one morning of our stay and not the other. This hotel is relatively small and basic and certainly seems to serve a purpose for those looking for a basic hotel in which to sleep with a few basic amenities, but you will definitely want to go elsewhere for the hot springs or higher end choices. Not a bad hotel for a short stay and the price was right. Bathroom had an odd design that had a slanted step that I felt could result in a slip and fall.

We stayed here for 3 nigths, and then 1 more nights later in our trip, very good location, great view of the volcano (when or if the clouds clear), good varitey of things to do at the hotel and near by.

Hotel was comfortable and in a good location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only bad thing was that the hot tubs were broken and they were definitely needed after some Costa Rican adventures...

We only stayed here one night. The hotel was perfectly fine. It lacks any Costa Rican charm or feel, but the rooms were very comfortable and nice. The front desk staff wasn't great, but we had a couple of little issues and the maintenance crew was there promptly. The restaurant staff was very nice. They have a nice breakfast buffet. The junior suite […] is not a suite per se in that the rooms are separate - it just has a seating area. Læs mere

Hotel muito limpo e com linda vista para o Vulcão Arenal. Ficamos satisfeitos com o serviço. Precisam melhorar as opções do café da manhã, o estilo norte-americano não agrada aos brasileiros.
