This hotel was in a convenient location to University of Syracuse. It was the most reasonable cost of any hotel around. That said, it is a drive up motel without a lot of noise cancellation. We could hear people talking and banging around in the room next door. Thankfully, the bathroom fan helped cancel out much of the noise. Fixtures were a bit outdated, […] but very clean. For us, it was very convenient to relatives in Dewitt, restaurants and the highways we used. Also not far from the University where we once worked some years ago--was fun to drive through and see the growth and changes!

I had not anticipated having a microwave, and refrigerator in the room, and was pleased to find them. They came in handy.

The price was right, the service was efficient, and we will stay here again.

This was a great place to stay and get some shopping done. Great restaurants close by, shopping malls close by and for one night and a really cheap price it fit the bill perfectly. My second stay here and would for sure stay again!

The bathroom was so clean that I felt safe enough to actually take a bath!! I was pleasantly surprised that a 2 star rating was so nice. I think the owners take a genuine interest in the location.

This hotel was clean and comfortable. The room was not large but it was roomy enough. I never really gave the WiFi a workout but I managed to stream a brief video with no trouble. There is a whole mall very close which is nice if you have some downtime.

This hotel met my needs exactly. I stayed overnight as a mid way stop on a drive from Boston to Cleveland. The hotel was basic but all I needed was a clean, comfortable room for one night, ans its location five minutes or so off I-9-0 was perfect.

the pillows are just to small. they made it difficult to sleep. The beds where also uncomfortable to sleep in. Had a beter experience the previous trip.

I was under the impression that I was reserving a non-smoking room. The room we got was smoking. I was traveling with my 7 year old asthmatic son. The bathroom was dirty, the fixtures were older and there was rust in the toilet and the tub. The carpet was not vacuumed. There was dust/ash/dirt on the lighting fixtures and all other surfaces. Thank God […] we brought our own blankets so I didn't have to resort to sleeping directly on the bed sheets...I was not confident that they would have been clean considering the rest of the room. The continental breakfast consisted of stale pre-packaged muffins, bread (for making toast), no butter or jam, and two open bowl-like containers with raisin bran and rice krispies...completely exposed. I the same price for one weekend night at this motel that I paid for a gorgeous room a few months prior at a really nice hotel nearby....so the adage about getting what you pay for doesn't ring true here. I did not get what I paid for. I got a dirty room that smelled like smoke, and a kid who couldn't stop coughing and needed his inhaler the next day. Læs mere

We were looking for an inexpensive but comfortable place to stay on short notice on a busy weekend, and found it here. It was clean and comfortable, and adequate for a short stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was pretty sparce, but everything was fresh. We would use this hotel again.

Hotel was not dirty. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. It was so hard and we were not able to get good rest.

This is a no frills hotel that was clean and neat. The beds are very hard and uncomfortable but the staff seemed nice and accomodating.

The motel was clean and in good condition and a great value. No extras but you don't pay for any.

We were very happy with the Econo Lodge DeWitt. It's located in a nice, suburban area of Syracuse. The price was very right, the room was bright, spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We're already planning to stay again next month when we visit family in Syracuse. Highly recommended.
