Meridian Inn was a great place to enjoy the surroundings of south western Barbados. The neighboring spots were up to 6x the price and might have more amenities but for my money this was the best spot in the area. No beach front view but a short 5 minute walk to the water. Great Location. only 1 minute to beach. Close to several bars, eateries, and a nearby Market. Room is what one would expect for 2.5 stars but comfortable and clean. Didn't interact with staff much. Great for the budget/bargain traveler.

A quite and secure hotel walking distance to activities and beach

My husband and I are very active and were not interested in anything fancy or all inclusive but wanted to be close to the action and the Meridian was THE perfect spot. The staff was absolutely amazing with great food and activity suggestions and the hotel was at the quiet end of The Gap so we were not disturbed with the partying. Meridian Inn was a simple, comfortable and affordable hotel. Very convenient location with the beach nearby. Goof (the cat) was a friendly surprise.

This is not a 5-Star hotel, but the price, location and friendliness of the staff makes the stay worth the while. I loved the location, quiet and very close to the beach. All the neccessary amenities are within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for affordable accommodation. If you can imagine a cheap motel in Panama City Beach, or Daytoma Beach, in Florida, that was built in the 60s (down to the cheap plastic chairs in the balcony) and where you stayed by using a coupon (you know the kind, stay for 3 days, get 1 free), well, now you know the Meridian Inn. Ah, you also have to put up with the noise until 2am from a bar […] from around the corner (weekends), a phone that constantly rings outside (the staff leave at 5pm and reroute the phone to one that is just outside the rooms so that everybody can hear it), constant noise from people walking and talking outside during all times of the night, this is the Meridian. Overpriced, tacky, noisy but the A/C works just fine (or, I forgot the rusty refrigerator) that comes along to keep you company. Læs mere

Simple Basic Clean pleasant people - good for the price

Older walk up close to the beach, very clean, very good staff.

É um hotel simples, na verdade um misto de pousada e motel, mas a relação custo-benefício é muito boa. Quando chegamos, achamos o quarto um pouco simples demais. Porém ele é bem limpo e decente. Pra quem gosta de luxo, piscina e vista para o mar, esqueça o Meridian. Não fica de frente para a praia, mas fica a poucos metros de uma praia muito boa (Turtle […] Beach). As garotas da recepção ficam só até às 17hs, mas são muito atenciosas e simpáticas. O hotel tem internet Wi-Fi gratuita de ótima velocidade. Como Barbados tem muitas praias lindas para conhecer, vale à pena economizar num hotel sem vista para o mar, como esse, para alugar um carro. Læs mere

O proprietário do hotel, Graham, pessoalmente nos recebe durante o check-in. Localizado numa área calma de Saint Lawrence Gap, é impossível não sentir o clima familiar do local. Os quartos são simples e confortáveis, dotados de internet wireless, chuveiro com água quente, banheira jacuzzi, fogão, forno micro-ondas, o suficiente para garantir uma reparadora […] noite de sono e garantir que você cozinhe, se quiser. Existem nativos de Barbados na praia que funcionam como guias turísticos não-oficiais. Aceitam um dinheiro trocado ou um lanche como compensação.
