Placering.
Lancaster Lodge ligger tæt på lufthavnen i hjertet af Cork i gåafstand fra Mercy University Hospital, Cork Domhus og St Fin Barre's Cathedral. I nærheden er også Bells of Shandon og St. Anne's Shandon Church.

"Hotel So-So but Great Restaurants & Downtown Close"
Upon checking in, we found that the room we booked with a king bed was not available. We were told upon arrival that we were the last to check in that day, so it feels like our reserved room was given away to an earlier arriving guest. Not cool. But the saving grace of Lancaster Lodge is that the front desk staff gave us two great restaurant recommendations: […] Cafe Paradiso directly across the street is one of the best vegetarian restaurants in all of Ireland (don't be daunted by the veg label--extraordinary food) and Liberty Cafe for breakfast. Awesome. Be wary of the "luxury" label they give themselves at Lancaster Lodge. Not a luxury property, by far, but serviceable. Also, they advertised blackout curtains. Not so. "Great place to stay for a city break"
My husband and I spent five nights at Lancaster Lodge over New Year. We were really pleased with the accommodation and the location is ideal for a city break in Cork as its only five minute walk into town and there are plenty of pubs and restaurants close by. We had a double room on the top floor and were very happy with the comfort of the room. The […] only slight negative was the condition of some of the bedding - some of the pillows had bobbles on them. Not the end of the world but the only thing I could complain about. "Lovely boutique hotel"
Lovely hotel, friendly hotel staff, even let us check in at noon. Good selection at breakfast with hot breakfasts cooked to order. Stayed for one night with my parents, both rooms were comfortable clean and good decor. Would stay here again.
"Cork's Lancaster Lodge"
Location a little difficult to find when driving in Cork for the first time without a map, just vague directions to the lodge. Once found, parking is free and we had not problems. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was okay..... not a 4 star rating for sure by American standards. "The Lancaster Lodge - brilliant staff"
The hotel was conveniently placed in walking distance to all the sights in Cork. However what made the hotel special was the staff. They all knowledgable about the city and could every question including giving travel directions. They also made every effort to make our stay effortless and enjoyable.

Room comfortable, quiet on backside of hotel. Fan in bathroom loud, heard by our neighbors. Helpful staff when asking about local sights to visit.

The room was large and nicely furnished. the bed was large and comfortable. the bathroom was spacious and well designed. Receptionists were really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was really great. great selection and a la carte menu for warm dishes. the only (minor) drawback was the particular smell in the room.

Stayed here for two nights. Staff were very helpful. Room was very clean and well appointed. Good location - about 10 mins walk to city centre. Probably best to print some detailed instructions or take a satnav to find it - not sure we would have found it without ours! Don't be put off by the ugly exterior of the building, it was lovely inside.

Close to City Center and main highways. Situated along the river bank. Street on front side a bit noisy. Clean and modern facility but poor lighting in bathroom.

The street the hotel is on is more desolate than some of the other street in Cork -- not sure if I would feel comfortable walking back later at night / evening. We loved the Lancaster Lodge. It has a smaller intimate feel, similar to a B&B, but with more creature comforts. It wasn't as big as a mass chain hotel, which added to the feel. The room was clean, had a nice view, and the bathroom had ample space for two. The breakfast was also delicious with nice juice and coffee. "Nice Hotel"
We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It was very nice and very clean. The breakfast was excellent and the staff was wonderful. Our only complaint was that the bed was too hard.
"Good location"
This is not an hotel in the usual sense in that it doesn't have a bar/restuarant. It has 50 well furnished comfortable rooms in an excellent location. There are lots of restuarants within a five minute walk. A good breakfast is served . We had a room at the front of the hotel and there is traffic noise from 8am. Very quite during the night.

Excellent Hotel in a very handy location close to the city center.Have stayed many times and wouldn't stay anywhere else in Cork.Breakfasts are what dreams are made of !!!

Honestly one of the best placed to stay in Cork City. The hotel was really clean, comefortable and the staff were polite and cutreious. The location is really quite and only 5 min to the heart of the city. It's a great place to stay.
The location was perfect and breakfast was amazing. The staff was helpful and friendly. A little hard to find by car but worth it!

Very comfortable, almost too warm. Breakfasts exceptionally good. Only complaint our room was between two rooms occupied by young women who played their TVs loudly and who went from room to room, making quite a bit of noise. We didn't want to be killjoys but had to contact the reception desk after midnight and the person in charge got the girls to quieten […] down. "Lancaster Lodge Cork"
The Lancaster Lodge Cork-only a few mins walk from the city centre. The hotel had a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and our stay was enjoyable. The breakfast was fabulous with so much choice!! It saved us a fortune in meals was full all day and into the evening before we even began to feel hungry. There was no bar but this was no problem there are plenty […] of pubs etc near by. There are lots of Stag and hen nights in the city but if your not part of that group then this hotel provides a haven from them. Lovely staff. Would stay again Læs mere
"Lancaster Lodge, Cork. great location"
The Lancaster Lodge was perfect for our short, 3day visit, to Cork. The hotel was easily accessible, and was central to shopping, the University and many of the sights.There were also some great restaurants and friendly pubs within walking distance.The hotel was clean well appointed and we would definately go back there.

We had originally wanted to stay in a b&b, but they were pricey in this area and wanted to charge us extra for breakfast! So we opted to pay a bit more for the hotel and it was so worth it! The room temperature was too hot and clammy to aid a good nights sleep. The carpet was wet in the bedroom, not at all healthy or hygenic with a small baby.

Nice and central to the city center. Easy parking. Everything very clean and tidy and well appointed, good breakfast and spotless cups knives etc.. Staff very helpful. No bar or food but plenty offered within 5 minutes (or less) walk. Enjoyed.
