Hotel was adequate and reasonably priced. It had free wireless but not much else in amenities. The surrounding neighborhood is not great. .The main asset is the location. Very close to Gare du Nord and Gare L'Est. would recommend it for a short stay if you need to get to the train station.

very run done and dirty. Do not pick this hotel!

Only advantage is the location which is excellent. Else rooms are tacky and poorly maintained hotel.

This is a basic hotel (hence bring your own lotion) but it is super easy to find. Breakfast was continental but great croissant. I would recommend this to people who do not mind bare basics and clean.

stay away from this hotel. when i checked in this hotel the towels were used by previous customer never changed. i stayed in this hotel for seven nights and not once they change sheets or pillow cases, bathroom tiles were molded. sheets and pillowcase are stained and their customer service really sucks.

Very convenient 2 star hotel. We traveled with two children and found the location convenient and price fair. Room was small and old, but clean. Wireless internet and breakfast were good too.

For a hotel right by Gare Du Nord, it was perfect. The location at night is a little bit sketchy but nothing bad ever happened (to my knowledge). The area was great in terms of getting around. We were right near the centre of Paris so it was convienant. The beds were comfy enough, food was standard to hotel food. all in all, you're in Paris (usually) […] to sight-see and not spend major time in the hotel so this is a great hotel for those essential needs. The Hotel was nice, it was conveniently located and the receptionists were very helpful. It wasn't the biggest room, nor the nicest, but the price was right and it is right between 2 metro stations, so travel was easy

Just a short walk from the Gare du Nord (the main train station in Paris) the location really can't be beat. It's not in the best neighborhood in Paris, but it is safe and has all the modern conveniences close by, as well as the metro to take you everywhere else in the city. I mainly stayed as an overnight stopping point to the airport. The room was pretty run down, there was a large hole in the bathroom wall, but everything was functional and clean. Breakfast was not great (possibly the worst croissants I've ever had in France) but at least there was something. I wouldn't go out of my way to stay here again. Or probably […] even in my way. The hotel is located close to 2 train stations and thats only one positive detail....

Convenient because 4 minutes walk to the Gare du Nord Metro. Easy to find your way to the tourist spot. (e.g. Eiffle Tower)

Hotel was easy to find, however would not stay again, it was not in a very nice location but we also did not have any problems there.

Small hotel with typically tiny Parisian rooms. However everything worked (except the lift) and the included breakfast was tasty. Room looked a bit tatty though (peeling wallpaper, cupboard door wouldn't close). Staff were a bit reserved but helpful when asked. Street is quiet at night.

The staff was nice and helpful but the hotel is very old. The elevator had been out of service for 3 weeks when we got there. They do not have cribs for babies and the hotel is very loud at night.

Stayed here because flight got in too late to Paris to catch Eurostarthat night. Plus side was that room clean, bed comfy, shower hot, 3 mins walk from Gard du Nord, free wifi (but didn't end up using it). Hotel room is resonably good, comes with free wi-fi. Just troublesome you have to login time and time again as it expires after some time. Hotel staff is very friendly. Breakfast slightly disappointing but the quality of danish bread and croissant is good.

it was rather dated decor wise and the lift wsan't working which was awful when you are on you're own and given a room on the third floor. Not even an offer of help to carry my case upstairs. Not what I expected. It is close to Gare du L'est and Gare du Nord however, the neighborhood is very noisy and crowded-it is definitely not the tourist area of Paris. Hotel d'Amiens fits the description of "clean, comfortable, and safe. The location close to both Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est is ideal for those using the RER to and from the airport. Although the area surrounding the hotel is not the cleanest because of the heavy traffic, there are good restaurants and "eateries" close by including a wonderful patisserie. […] Public transit is readily accessible and, although there are many tourists in the area, it is not a "tourist area" which, for us, was a big plus. The best thing I can say about the hotel was that the location was convenient, two blocks from Gare du Nord where I arrived by train from Brussels. The hotel room was old but clean. The bathroom had a tub but no shower.

This hotel was located only one block from Paris Est station and two blocks from Paris Nord. As far as location and convenience, you can not get any better!

Excellent Location, easy to find, but with the wall paper coming off the wall, and narrow pathway to walk, would not return, even if it was free.

Overall ok but bathroom needed curtain and a bit of maintenance. Also it was not mentioned on application regarding choice of bathroom. Staff for breakfast time was very friendly and bubbly.

The location was perfect for us, We had early morning trains and being right by Gare Du Nord was the reason we picked it. We had a quadruple room wich was very dated and in need of repair , the wall paper had been ripped off in parts. BUT it was a cheap hotel in a location we needed so we didnt have very high expectations. I ended up getting another […] room for myself as my fellow travellers were big snorer's and the double room was in much better condition. The breakfast was ok, you had to wait for them to bring the crossants out then run to grab one because as always there is greedy people that pile their plates high , so some mornings we just went tot he bakery 2 doors up ! The hotel room was small...I mean really really small...just about a feet or two around a double bed. The room wasn't very clean either. The hotel personel were fairly helpful though...however one of them was not what I'd describe as hospitable. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its proximity to Gare de l'Est (1 minute walking). The room was in poor condition: stained carpet, old, cheap blankets, leaking toilet, no shower (only bath tub with shower head), only three towels for three persons, so no separate towels for hand washing and shower. The first receptionist wasn't cooperative in […] getting us two more towels, it took us to the 2nd night to get additional. The internet connection to all four hubs was overloaded, i.e. login was not possible. Once logged in, it failed every few minutes and when it was available it was fairly slow (7Kb/s) - but the login problems and the stability were the bigger problems. Elevator noise kept us up all night. There were some stains from a run-off liquid visible on the desk, indicating a not too detailed cleaning. Læs mere

All i can say about this place it was a place to sleep the room was old the walpaper was coming off the wall and the walls were thin we could here the man in the next room using the bathroom.

Not very modern but clean, good located (close to different metro and train stations), staff speaks English (sometimes unwilling :)) and is helpful

I would never recommend this hotel to anybody. First time i saw such a filthy hotel. The room was very small, it was so uncomfortable and the whole room was stinking bad. We couldn't open the window as the weather was too cold. The carpet had lot of stains. There was no AC. The bed spread and blanket was also very dirty. I would never recommend this […] hotel. When visiting Paris for a weekend away, one rarely want to spend a lot of time in the hotel. For the money-strapped traveller booking their Eurostar tickets well in advance to get the cheapest rate, this is a hotel to consider for further savings. The hotel was very clean, with clean towels provided each day. Not much is provided in terms of toiletries, but I always take my own in any case. The staff were very friendly, especially the day staff. Free Internet is provided with good access on each floor at decent speeds. The only issue was with the area, which was a bit noisy over the weekend. The hotel is located in a very handy area close to North and East stations. It was quite important for us coming from UK by EuroStar. The room was just enough for 3 of us as we were expecting from the budget rate. The bath really needs a curtain and some mold cleaning! Breakfast was reasonable, although it was not buffet as indicated. The location is […] great. It is almost in walking distance to a lot of sightseeing places. The staff are quite friendly. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Our room was 10x10, no air conditioning, horrible view of an old crumbling wall. The shower was so small you couldn't bend to wash yourself. TV didn't work. The area of town was kind of scary. The staff was advertised as speaking English, however they didn't understand most everything we tried to ask. This is a "low-end" 2-star hotel, and while the staff is pleasant and there is free wi-fi, the hotel itself is quite shabby, lacking airconditioning, and while quite convenient to 2 train-stations (Gare du Nord and Gare du Est) it is a poor neighborhood so doesn't offer much in terms of nearby restaurants, etc. This is not the place for anyone over […] 25.
