Fint lille hotel, som jeg varmt anbefaler pga. beliggenheden i forhold til The Hawthorns (WBA's hjemmebane), super venligt personale, velholdte og rene værelser (vores dog meget lille), meget rimelige priser og ikke mindste en rigtig god restaurant. Manglede kun SkySport på TV'et og Full English Breakfast, så havde den fået alle 5 stjerner. Bor der helt sikkert igen på den næste fodboldtur.

den var fint, lå meget centralt , stor værelse , søde personal, da vi brugt sted kun til overnating , kan jeg ikke sige meget , men synes det var lidt for meget at man ikke havde gratis internet forbindelse, det er næste must nu om dagen, man skal ikke vælge dette hotel hvis man skal have en stille og rolig sted at være, da hotellet ligger på en vej hvor der er omkring 20 pub,......

We checked in got to room and found it to the clean to the eye - ok normal hotel - looked down beside the bed and found a open condom rapper - went to reception and told them after a long conversation they came and removed it - we went back to the room to find false nails on the floor - they really need to sort the cleaners out as you don't want that […] on a special night !!! When arriving at the hotel I was not kept waiting and the staff was very polite. When entering my room I was very pleased the room was just like what it said on the Internet plus very clean. Room service did not keep us waiting long and the meal was still hot and I never found any faults with the food. Sofa bed rather uncomfortable - very easy to feel springs and not ideal therefore for sleeping on (had to use duvet to give it a bit more padding). However the main bed was comfortable. You can very easily hear the adjacent nightclub / disco, (which i think stopped at about midnight ) from within your room, - not ideal for 'light sleepers' and the bright […] lights on the building also made the room quite light even though the curtains appeared quite thick. I was very satisfied with my stay and would recommend this hotel to others the only problem was I think the price was a bit dear as i arrived so late and left before 12 the next day .

Before I start I would like to state that the regular staff (management excluded, I stress!) were very friendly and helpful - where they could be - and they were sympathetic when they could not be helpful, which - no fault of theirs - was most of the time. Read on for the grim details ... By way of an introduction to this review, apart from the gentle […] staff, this writer thinks Ramada Cannock needs a management coup! Some very thorough shaking-up (maybe even something more extreme) needs to be done here. Upon arrival my wife and I loved the look of the hotel and our initial reactions upon entry to the first room were good. However, unbeknownst to us at that moment, this would be the first of 3 rooms in just 24 hours! Faults, in the first room, on the 6th floor were : a. bathroom fan did not work b. air conditioning did not work c. fridge did not work d. safe was faulty and could not be opened. e. the TV did not work. Upon talking to reception, I was told that the hotel had suffered a string of problems with this room ... so why did they put me into it then...and where was the technical/electrical officer? The management had known about the problems, decided it could still put guests through suffering them, for 5 nights, and it failed to have an engineer on standby for all 5 days and nights of our visit. It is outrageous to deal with guests like this! The staff told my wife and I that they would give us a a suite for the 1 night but that we must vacate it next morning and we could have another room ... the next afternoon! They would not budge upon this. There was no way of getting a room for the next five days straight. So, now we had to face packing and unpacking twice in the next day. So much for our shopping and seeing friends plans the next day! So... that night my wife and I moved to the suite, on the 10th floor, which had a bad bed (it was too soft) but otherwise everything worked OK, however, enjoyment of it was marred by the fact that we knew the next da Læs mere
"good hotel"
the hotel itself is good but the receptionist could not understand that I had already paid for the room through hotel.com. I had the same problem again the next day on leaving the room. the hotelroom was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately the top floor was closed.
Hotel clean and newish, food was good a little expensive, downstairs bar very disappointing, and why did the windows not open?

Modern and smart hotel spoilt by the extremely uncomfortable mattress. I was awake a 3.30am, my wife also.

We chose this hotel as it was close to our son's home where all the rest of the family had taken all available beds! The hotel was not the luxury we expected. Although we had codes for internet access, we never managed to get to the page where the codes could be used. The receptionist in the morning checked that we were using Windows which we were but […] that shouldn't matter. We wanted to listen to the cricket from Australia as there was no Sky sport on the television. The towel rail in the bathroom never got warm. When we complained at 4pm when we arrived we were told that it was on a timer and would come on late at night and in the morning. This isn't satisfactory as I would have liked a shower after travelling and before I went out for the evening but it was too cold in the bathroom to contemplate it. In the morning, when the bedroom was warmer I did manage a shower but it was a pleasant experience especially with cold towels. There was no restaurant on the evening and it wasn't easy to find one nearby. I would use the hotel again as it is near to my son's but I wouldn't look forward to a pleasant stay. Læs mere
"Good hotel let down by somcustomer service issues."
Hotel was easy to find and get to. Area is surrounded by speed cameras so be careful if you are driving to the hotel. Layout of hotel explained OK by receptionist/manager, however was not told about the other facilities which were in a different building - slightly confusing. Car park too small for size of complex, especially if they are holding an […] event on the site. I would suggest checking in as soon as possible or arriving via taxi. Bar in hotel building was closed. Staff in restaurant and in attached bar in the evening showed little in the way of customer service skills. Asked for a table, and got told to wait in the bar. Didn't come and get me or offer the bar menu. Difficult to get served for drinks. Breakfast hot, reasonably priced and OK, but difficult to get attention of kitchen staff. "modern business hotel"
convenient location, good quality rooms, comfortable beds. Only downside is that restaurant, gym etc can only be reached by walking outside which is fine if the weather is good.

only problem was with TV - the channels kept freezing every few minutes. Asked reception to look at it but second night was the same. Apart from that niggle everything was great for a good value (if you book through hotels.com) business hotel.

Hôtel d'affaires sans surprise ( ni mauvaise ni bonne). A éviter le we pour cause de salle de mariage au RDC. Personnel sympathique.
