Et centralt beliggende for dem der vil gå rundt i London. Fin standard og dejligt koldt tappevand med flasker, til at tage med sig ud i den varme by. Meget venligt personale og fri internet. Der er rent og pænt og stille om natten. Et godt bud på Hotel for dem der er på shopping/sightseeing tur.

Hotellet var fint, rent og højt til loftet med stuk - ikke super, men lå perfekt i gåafstand til diverse seværdigheder, shows og forretninger. Dog var der nogle mangler sammenlignet med prisen som ikke manglede noget. Ingen room-service. Ingen mini-bar. Ingen kaffe/the på værelset. Lille queen-size seng. Sammenlignet med eks. samme prisklasse på Strand […] Palace, Bloomsberry Hotel, Tower, så har disse finesser som eks. stor seng, god service også room-sevice, god bar/restaurant - lidt luxus, som for nogle også værdsættes i ferien. Da The Grand at Trafalger Square ligger midt i centrum af det hele, kan det varmt anbefales til andre. Der er en god og venlig betjening, altid en der står til rådighed. Prisen er meget fornuftigt . Mine to piger (i 30 års alderen ) og jeg var særdeles tilfredse.

Flot hotel - gode værelse - super beliggenhed 100 meter fra Trafalger.

Vi var meget glade for at bo på hotellet. Det ligger centralt i forhold til seværdigheder, transport, teater, sightseeing osv. Hvis du er villig til at gå et par kilometer, er det billigt og let at komme rundt til rigtig mange af de spændende ting, London kan byde på. Det er et stort plus, at der er gratis vand og vandflasker til påfyldning samt gratis […] internet med tilhørende funktioner, fx mulighed for at printe... Et lille minus er nok, at der ikke er køleskab på værelset eller værdiboks. Derudover er sengene lidt hårde - denne anmelder har lidt rygproblemer, og det kunne mærkes en smule... Vi synes, hotellet prismæssigt ligger fint, på trods af, at det er inde i centrum. Alt i alt opvejer fordelene langt ulemperne, og det er bestemt et hotel, vi vil benytte os af igen! Læs mere

Super skønt og roligt hotel, ligger perfekt. Vi var 4 kusiner afsted og havde et værelse sammen, rigtig hyggeligt. På værelset var der et lille the køkken så der var mulighed for at spise morgenmad. Alt i alt en go oplevelse.

Hotellet ligger i gåafstand af "alt". Til trods for beliggenheden på Trafalgar Square er der meget roligt på hotellet. Personalet er meget imødekommende og værelset rent rent rent! Det er ikke sidste gang vi bor her.

Meget centralt, dejlige værelser, lydsvagt, rent, god betjening. men hvorfor er det at man ikke bruger tæpper eller dyner i England. Irriterende med et lagen og et overbetræk til to personer.

Stol ikke på at receptionisten tilbyder at hjælpe dig uden han eller en "fætter" tjener godt på Jer.

The Grand er et fantastisk hotel tíl prisen. Det ligger centralt og servicen er i top.

Brilliant location, awesome hotel, staff not as friendly as they could be. Breakfast closed at 11am on a Sunday? Way to early...

Hotel was very good, room was very comfortable with good facilities. The only problem we had was that we received a smoking room upon arrival, despite requesting a non-smoking room. The staff were very helpful and moved us to a non-smoking room the next day while we were out, but it did spoil our trip a little. If you go to London then The Grand in Trafalgar Square is a perfect place to stay. Its central, clean and the service is fantastic. My daughter and I arrived at 7 a.m. after a long flight from Australia and the staff very kindly allocated us a room from 11 a.m. which was much earlier than we expected. We popped up the road for brekky then had a look […] around before going back to check in. The bathroom was clean and modern and the bed was to die for. Would definitely stay there again. Læs mere

We stayed for just one night whilst visiting London. The service was excellent, hotel had a lot of charactor while being very modern. I particularly liked the efforts to being 'green' (re-usable drinking bottles, etc). We had the smallest type of room which was fine, which wasnt overlooking the street, so no street noise which was nice. We didnt eat […] in the hotel. I was very pleased with this hotel's location and the quality and cleanliness. I was there for New Year's celebrations, and this hotel is in the perfect location, very close to The Thames and situated very close to Leicester Square and other places of interst. The only gripe i have is that for the amount of money i paid, i would have liked a little […] mopre friendliness from the staff. Not even a smile, or a good wish on New Years eve. Cleaning staff were friendly and very professional. Very very disappointed with staff at front desk and door. The location was outstanding; close to everything and the hotel service was excellent. The room was very comfortable and I really enjoyed the free wi-fi. I would stay here again in a heart beat.

Excellent location. Reasonable Price. Comfortable Room. Didn't eat or drink in the bar, but it looked very Grand. Could not fault.

Excellent situation for tourism. Room small but functional. Comfortable but little insulation from the corridor, no noise from the other rooms.

The Grand is a convenient hotel in the heart of London. Walking distance to the Hop on Hop Off bus, shops, the National Gallery and more. The pricing is a bit high, but so is everything else in London for an American. The room was a bit small, but offered all the comforts one might need..

The hotel is almost overlooking Trafalgar Square. Walk one direction to see Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, etc. and walk to other direction for Covent Garden, theatres, Picadilly Square, etc. Tube stations are at each end of the block if you don't want to walk. We were really pleased with this hotel on many levels and we would definitely stay here again. Our room was ready when we arrived even though we were early, at best we had hoped to leave the luggage. The room was modern and clean and a decent size for such a central location. We asked for an iron and board and it was delivered to our room within minutes […] and stayed with us for the duration of our stay. The staff were helpful and friendly and should be highly commended. They were happy to help with directions and even printed off a route for us to help us get around.The location is excellent and we were able to walk to all of what we needed with the exception of the train station which was a very short tube ride away. The hotels reception area accommodates Boyd's Bar which is very smart and has friendly staff. The bar prices were typical of the area and standard of premises so whilst not being as cheap as a pub, they were definitely not rip off prices. The only tiny criticism I have is that the tea making facilities were a bit mean. Enough milk for one cup each (if you don't mind it strong). I would imagine that they would have sent up more if asked but sometimes it would just be nice if there was more than required rather than less. Fab hotel just a short walk to the theatre as we were told! Sometimes other peoples '10 minute' walk is half an hour! Lovely hotel and food. Service was very good on all counts.

I could be bit nit picky about the check in procedure and the fact that the rooms were not ready until 15-00. But that's what it says on the tin, although one was not ready until 15-15. However the hotel was accommodating with letting us leave our luggage before check in and after checkout,so no complaints there. The worst aspect of this hotel, which […] for a London venue amazed us all, is that you cant get a drink after 24-00 on a Saturday night, even as residents. Its a great bar but they moved us out into another lounge area without a bar at around 00-15. Indeed they even got the vac out so we'd take the hint. Apparently the bar is run by a separate company to the hotel, who close at 24-00?? We dont get to London often, so tend to splash out a bit and have a few extra drinks whilst we are there. So if you want to do this, either don't use this hotel, or stay out later in Covent Garden! Læs mere

Centrally located near all popular tourist attractions, subway station and nightlife. The room was very nice and the hotel was quiet

I highly recommend this hotel. It is very well located, near by to most of the attractions in London. The staff is very friendly and the hotel is clean and comfortable. I just had one problem there, they did nogt make upmy room on my last day, but it was probably related to my late checkout. So, that is why I did not gave them the highest possible  […] evaluation. I don't think we could have chosen a better hotel for our short stay in London. Location, comfort, price, service were all excellent and we'd be happy to stay again. Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance, and something that is very rare in any hotel it seemed like whoever designed the rooms had actually stayed in hotels themselves! […] We only had a small double but it was more than adequate, modern, well decorated and clean and free wi-fi too. We only had 3 nights in London, so location was key. The Grand is in a terrific location, just minutes walk from the Charing Cross underground station, and a short walk to Covent Garden, Leicester Square, and the Thames. The staff was great, and the room was clean and quiet. We'd definitely stay here again!

Great hotel, just a minute from Trafalgar Square and walking distance to all central London attractions. Hotel was spectacular, room was lovely - only one downside was the huge air conditioning unit right outside the bedroom window making noise all through the night.

This is a business oriented hotel conveniently located near Charing Cross train & tube station - halfway between Trafalgar Square and Thames. 10-15 min walks to Parliament, London Eye, Piccadilly & Chinatown. Clean, well maintained facility with somewhat larger rooms than most in London. Relatively large bathroom - shower only (not a concern to us). […] Rather odd floor layout with some rooms on a level a few steps above rest of the floor. Not a "full service" hotel so no doormen, bellhops or concierge, but that means fewer marginally useful hands held out looking for tips. Free wireless internet and desktop PCs with printers. Excellent location for nipping down to Embankment, across the bridge and to the Eye etc, also the other way to Trafalgar Square, Theatreland, Covent Garden, China Town etc. All very good, but the continental breakfast at the table at £14.99 expensive and bit misleading with re Advertised £6:99 breakfast, which turned out to be just a croissant and coffee […] to be taken in the bar. (On the menu it looked as though the cooked breakfast was £14.99, not also the cold continental breakfast). However, as indicated, excellent location and service. All day breakfast available few yards away along the road towards Trafalgar Square. Also handy to know Boots Chemist just round the corner on the Charing Cross side of the Strand. Well-appointed room with thoughtful extras for travelers in London central [e.g. an umbrella, just in case].
