Everything about this hotel is great, except for the location. It is basically in the middle of nowhere. There are a few places to dine out a little way out, but overall I was satisfied. NYC is about 30-40 mins away... another plus because it is not ridiculously priced. The suite has a kitchen- something I was not expecting at all! I stay here quite often, and I always end up having a wonderful time. My favorite place to stay, by far.

Great place, I had never stand there before but would definitely stay there again. It was located within 3 miles of the train station easy access to New York City. Hotel was very clean and comfortable.

Everything was very good. Breakfast was done very nicely. Will go back

I booked 3 separate rooms for me and my family this past weekend for my father's graduation. When walking into our room on the second floor, the room was freezing! After a half hour of trying to fix the thermostat, my grandmother was moved to another room another floor up. In the morning, my niece forgot her toothbrush. Assuming housekeeping could run […] up a disposable on, they requested that I come down to the market to purchase one. Don't all hotels have these kinds of things on hand? Excellent room, decor, layout, the mattress wasn't that comfy and the hotel is no were to be found fron the HGWY got to turn into the lane to even see a glimpse of it, the breakfast was yummy...waffles, sausage, eggs, bagels, toast, cereal...etc. Other than the uncomfortable mattress I would give 10 on 10.

I was so pleasantly surprised when I checked into the Hyatt Summerfield Suites in Parsippany, NJ. Upon check in, the front desk clerk interacted with my special needs son wonderfully, and upon entering our room, we discovered that we were upgraded to a two bedroom suite. When I made the reservation I requested 1 kings size bed, nothing special. When I opened to door I pleasently suprised to see a fully stocked kitchen, living area, and 2 seperate bed rooms each with their own full bathroom and tv. This was by far the best hotel I have every stayed at!! They have breakfast and serve dinner on some nights. The room was […] soo comfortable!! I wish my stay was long!!! And the price was insane! my only complaint is that I had a little difficulty getting there. There is another Ridgewood Ave maybe a mile or so up the same street so that threw me off. The room smelled AWFUL! We had to have a worker come spray down the room with air freshner because it was so bad! The room was not well taken care of. The bathroom door jam looked like the person putting it up had never held a hammer before. Nails were exposed. The curtains were hanging on by only half of the metal holders. The handle in the shower […] was broken but still left hanging by a thread. Iron leaked and when we called for a new one it took more than 20 minutes and a walk to the front desk to actually get it. We were in the room closest to the back doors. Inside the vestibule there was a garbage can that got emptied once in our three day stay. My suite was very nice but the customer service at this hotel is horrible. Raw sewage leaked into my bathroom the first night I was there and the management behaved as if this was a typical experience! The very nice maintenace man cleaned it up the next day, but I had to ask the manager a second time before he sent anyone to my suite. I was not offered […] so much as an apology, much less any compensation. No one at the local Hyatt or Hyatt Corporate has returned my calls and emails about this. I have to say that I have stayed at this hotel more then once and its has never been an issue though there is Nothing around as far as food they Hotel offers a service that you can order from for 10$ and they bring you what ever you want form dozens of different restaurants which is great when you are EXHAUSTED! However this time the staff "Frank" was […] a total tool! Did not have anything to offer besides Pizza and wings and with no help and attitude that was just not appreciated from some one I was paying to do a job! This is our 3rd visit to this hotel. Light years better than the Ramada we used to stay at in this area. We had the 2 room suite with living room and kitchen. Room was neat and clean and everyhting was easily accessable. With a Stove with oven, microwave, refrigerator with ice maker and a dishwasher, it was just like home! This SPOT is about 45 minutes safely driving from the GW Bridge and they have a SUPER WEEKEND RATE. I highly reccomed it...It's worth the ride from the city if your driving....2 Flat Screens, full kitchen! Clean! Clean! Clean!, internet and a REAL BREAKFAST! It's like a NICE little studio! Try it..I guarantee you will like it!

The hotel was GREAT !! The room has a full kitchen including cooking utensils, etc. The room was clean and fresh. The bed was extremely comfortable. The walls are pretty thin, but there was much disturbance at all. The staff was exceptional !! My husband got sick and they printed directions to nearby medical facilty. They also help direct us into the […] city. We business center is great as well. Breakfast was beyond the normal (great selection) especially since my husband is allergic to gluten. The hotel room was a deluxe room with a good weekend rate. We did not need the kitchen and a separate bedroom but those features would probably benefit some travelers. The complimentary breakfast was above average and the couple who maintained the breakfast buffet and dining area did and excellent job. (Thanks.)

A little out of the way from main strip

I arrived at the hotel around 12:30pm, I was told to come back later since there were no rooms available at the time for check-in since housekeeping has not clean the rooms yet(which is ok), but when I asked them when do they expect ONE room to be available, they said they have NO IDEA. Based on the reviews I had read online, I expected this to be a fun and relaxing getaway for myself and our two young children. Boy was I wrong! There was apparently some huge convention, retreat or massive group vacation of about 50 other families with young kids going on. And when I say they took over the place like it was theirs, I mean they took […] over the place!! There was no room in the pool without getting kicked in the face, there were about 15 underage and unsupervised kids in the sauna throwing towels at each other, and the breakfast room was absolute chaos. If I wanted to be strung out and in a hugely overcrowded setting, I would have stayed in the city. I couldn't wait to leave. Not coming back to this place. Læs mere

A little hard to find at first then easy.

These rooms - suites - are large. While not the largest I had, they are definitely not the standard hotel rooms. They are comfortable, working kitchen, and my first thought was "I could work out of this room an extended period of time if I had to." This was a 1-night getaway. Breakfast, although slightly crowded was outstanding (eggs, waffles, bagels, […] cereal, etc. with TV on nearby). The only caveat is check Google Maps or the hotel site out first. It is right off the highway, but you need to know where to turn. Getting back to the highway is clearly marked from the hotel parking lot and easy to do. This is in a mostly business area, but it a winner and we will return. Læs mere

More often than not, people write to voice a complaint. Not so with my stay at this hotel. It far exceeded my expectation. Great room. Great breakfast. Great pool. I would have paid more and still been very impressed. Keep up the good work. The entire staff deserves a "well done"

Excellent hotel experience - great value - difficult to find as no signage and hidden by landscaping. Needs main route sign. Suite was comfortable, staff was attentive when needed.

The neighborhood provided a convenient and quiet stay. Great for business travel.

I stayed at the Hyatt Summerfield Suites for one night, to simply have a get away from the city. At first glance, the room was what I expected. Couch, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom. I just wanted to hang out on the couch, and watch baseball, and eat ice cream. (which I did.) Unfortunately, the room had an unrelenting smell of whomever was there before, […] and it wasn't pretty. Another issue I had was the bed. Ultra firm mattress, that was was a foot lower on one side, than the other. I spent my sleep, preventing a complete roll off the side of the bed. Finally, I have to say, the towels, and all paper products were rougher than my high school home room teacher. Fabric softener is something every hard working hotel guest deserves, in my opinion. Other than that, the guy who checked me in was lovely, and friendly, but was there in the morning when I checked out at 11am, from, at least 9pm the night before. That's a long shift. I should, also suggest, that 7/11 open somewhere nearby, so someone could get a munchie after 7pm in the neighborhood. That's all. It still beat dealing with New York drunkies on Memorial Day. Although, next time, I'll find a place with a bed i don't have to balance on. Læs mere

Great quality for the money. The room was exactly what was described and much more. Very clean and extremely comfortable. Would defiantly recommend to others. It is right off the highway but somewhat hidden we were upset we didn't find it sooner.I plan to stay there again in the future.
