The Edgewater Resort and Spa ligger ved stranden i Rarotonga (Arorangi) og tæt på Nationalstadion, Aro'a-stranden og Puaikura Strand. Ekstra attraktioner i omegnen er bl.a. Para O Tane Palads og Cookøernes Kristne Kirke.

"Beach and good snorkeling on the doorstep"
I was there for a week and although the resort was consistent in it's good service the quality of the guests was variable! I had a room that overlooked the swimming pool and was close to the dining area - a mixed blessing when it came to evening activities and parties that got rowdy. My daughter and her family were relocated to a room further away after […] a couple of noisy nights. It was only 20 minutes from town and the bus pulls right into the hotel reception area. "New Year's Break"
Great place to stay. We had the beach front rooms, which meant we could just access the beach easily. My husband and I spent a lot of time snorkelling and playing with the wide range of fishes in the water. The rooms were comfortable, and they gave us new towels each day. "Good budget Resort"
The biggest resort on Raro doesn't feel all that big. We had a beach front room and enjoyed the sunset from our balcony every night. The resort is in need of some maintenance. But the room gets cleaned every day with clean linnen and offers all the comforts you need. So even though it's not the flashiest place to stay, considering the price and location […] it's a great option for a very nice holiday. Service is good, booking office is good. And beach is as good as anywhere else on Raro. Just mind the stray dogs and the occacional piece of glass in the sand. The Spaghetti house restaurant (which is part of the complex but located on the main road) is great. The food at the brasserie is a bit too simple. But the continental breakfast (which is included) is a good start of every day. For an amazing dinner walk 300 meter further South to Tumunu restaurant. Or book an Island night at Te Vara Nui. Good value for money with discounted rate - 5 nights for price of 3. Garden room - I think upgraded to garden superior - more than adequate - spacious and quiet. Very handy to restauant , beach and small pool.
"Garden View Room Review"
We are a family of 3, with a 2 year old boy and my pregnant partner. Because of this, we wanted somewhere with good facilities with a pool and beach and a comfortable room as my partner and boy would want their day siestas. The pool and beach didn't dissapoint, but the service did. Our TV satellite reception was poor, so we reported this on our 2nd […] day, then again on our 4th day, then again on our 8th day and still nothing was done by the time we left. Some of the restraurant staff were a bit rude and seemed like they didn't want to be there, but everything else was good. "Not a 4-star by any measure"
This is 1 star hotel, max. It is old and generally unclean, but it is priced that way, too. I had read the bad reviews and booked anyway because of price. After staying one night of a 2 night reservation, I changed hotels and was much happier.

"Poor front desk service at the Edgewater Hotel"
The front desk agent who checked me in didn't even greet me with a warm welcome nor give me any eye contact! In addition, when I called the front desk shortly after we had checked in to find out more about the Island Night at the new Te Vara Nui, the agent told me that she wouldn't help with any reservation nor provide any information! Im Edgewater würde ich eher nicht meinen Südseeurlaub verbringen - aber fürs Übernachten vor/nach dem Flug oder ein paar Tage auf der Nordseite von Rarotonga ist es empfehlenswert und hat vor allem ein sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.
